The property owners are fantastic! Very kind and helpful. Super quick to respond and very easy to talk to. The property is in a great location and is a superb value. The showers could be larger and updated but then they could probably charge twice as much. It was truly a fantastic find/stay.

As advertised, big and spacious. Host was very nice and helpful. The neighborhood was safe but dirty, just a block or two from busy area. Good location.

Colegero was so helpful and responsive went out of his way to make our stay easier for us in terms of picking up our rental car. Thr apartment was fully equipped and was centrally located making the exploration of Palermo easy. The apartment wss also larger than the pictures show allowing enough privacy for both couples. After our stressful flight changes getting to Sicily this was a worry free , comfortable place to enjoy what the city has to offer.

The apartment is outstanding in many ways. It is located in a quiet street, 6 minutes walk from the Opera Theatre. It is spacious with excellent appliances including a washing machine and dishwasher. The owner/manager is extremely helpful; he picked us up from the airport and took us back to the airport for a reasonable fee. The only negatives are a lack of parking space and no lift (the apartment is on the first floor).

We left two days early because the beds were very uncomfortable and the living room only had 1 sofa and 4 straight back chairs, not comfortable for 3 adults. Both showers need new shower heads and one needs a shower curtain. Owner met us and was very nice. We rented his garage parking.

We were in Palermo for pleasure and seeing where my husband’s ancestors came from. We had the convenience of everything we had at home in the apt. It was also convenient to buses and the restaurants, market and sights we wanted to visit

We enjoyed our stay in Palermo. The apartment was spacious, clean and was located in a quiet and yet central part of Palermo and within easy walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants, the marina and the city sights. The owners of the apartment were helpful, friendly and very responsive to all of our messages. They arranged our transfer from the airport. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

We wanted to two bedroom apartment close to my brother 'place. This was only 4-5 blocks away. Perfect. We had great communication before and during our stay with our hosts who were very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was terrific - what a splendid large kitchen - at a reasonable rate. We didn't use the kitchen because of the many fine restaurants very close by. The only negative was a surprise small additional fee to cover a municipal visitors tax when we checked in - information that should have been provided in advance. The apartment is only 5 minutes from a stop for the bus to the airport - very convenient early in the morning when you're leaving Palermo. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in Palermo. The apartment was exactly what we needed: nice kitchen to cook our own meals, large apartment with plenty of room and great location close to all the commodities and sights to visit. The owner was very helpfull, he took 2 hours out of his busy schedule to walk around the neibourhood with us on day one. He showed us the best places to buy our food, the best restaurants in that area and all the other usefull information as we stayed there 31 days. He also contacted us 3-4 times a week to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We were able to walk all over the city as the apartment was close enough that we hardly ever needed to take a bus or a taxi. Would we go back to that apartment should we visit Palermo in the future? of course!

The location was amazing, we loved having recommendations for restaurants, grocery and others. The host met us for a 1 hr walk/orientation in the area and that helped us to feel quickly at home.

The flat is in an excellent location and all was clean and tidy in the flat. What we would like to suggest is that neighbours get together to ensure the street is kept clean because it appears rubbish is not always collected.

Great location in the center of Palermo. What makes this great also is the presence of Calogero the owner. He is there to help with great suggestions for restaurants and places to see and those to avoid. Clean apartment with very confortable beds. Definitely recommend this place.

Our host Calegero was very charming and helpful. He took us from the bus station and to the airport at a very early hour which was most appreciated. The apartment was excellent with every convenience. Thoroughly recommend.

From the time of our booking until we said goodbye at the airport, our hosts, Angela and Cal were wonderful, pleasant, knowledgeable and generous with their time. The apartment is Huge and outfitted with everything a family needs, the beds were super comfortable and the floors were spotless. All the kitchen utensils one might need in a large kitchen with room to seat six plus, two large bathrooms, a large balcony, a laundry room and a very large sitting room made this a joy to experience. Call gave us lots of information about shopping, dining and the history. It would be a pleasure to host them in Canada. Jacques and Mary Soucie

We actually did not stay at this property -it had no water when we arrived-so we stayed at a nearby property …..while the parking was very challenging (as it always is everywhere in Italy!) the hosts were very accommodating. Very clean, modest space that gave us a feel of how a true Sicilian lives. They made us feel at home. Plenty to do and see -all within walking distance. The restaurant recommendations were all great! Grazie for a great stay!

Communication with both hosts was very smooth. Apartment is located walking distance from everything. 100% recommended and will definitely go back.

The location is within walking distance of the city sights. A grocery market is near by. The apartment was very clean. Our Host went out of the way to help us, he was very kind. We would return here.

Angela and Calogero are super hosts in all aspects. The apartment is in walking distance to all major attractions - location is just great. Communication was excellent from preparation of our trip to the end. The host and manager Davide already waited for us in the apartment when we arrived and explained everything to us. The apartment is clean, well equipped, spacious, and nice; it includes a well functioning AC, washing machine, Wifi, great kitchen etc. All pictures are accurate and it is a good value for money. I cannot say enough about the hosts' kindness in helping us book restaurants, giving us tips for activities, locations, short trips etc. Davide picked up our son who arrived later from the airport, drove us to an Italian cooking class outside the city and to the ferry when we left (all for a much cheaper fair than the taxi). Very accommodating! Palermo is so rich in history, food, and there is so much to do that I would recommend to stay at least 3 nights. The host also had tips for the rest of Sicily and the remainder of our trip. Communication was top and the host was so kind to let us check in earlier and check out a bit later. Overall a 5+ rating. The apartment is spacious and clean and is located within easy walking distance to the port, waterfront area, and the historic center where we spent much of our time. A wonderful place and a wonderful stay!

Hosts Angela and Calogero were welcoming, informative and helpful in everyway and the location was great for walking to several city sights. The apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay again when in Palermo!!

We had such a fantastic stay! Cal was sooo helpful. He picked us up from the airport for a fee and gave us so much information about the area! He and his wife Angela made our trip to Palermo an unforgettable one!

Your party had a difficult time parking, only because we had a very large van. However, the location of the nearby parking garage was very convenient and reasonable. The owner was very helpful with area information, maps, things to do, etc. He walked us through the place.

We stayed 2 nights at Angela and Calogero’s place. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed having 2 bathrooms. Very nice dining area. Calogero picked us up at the airport. Very helpful. We definitely recommend this place

The highlight of this rental are the hosts, Angela and Calogero. They answered every email almost immediately and while we were there, Calogero communicated throughout our stay. They both offered many suggestions of things to do (Calogero even drove us to Monreale) and left excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and markets. We ate at three of the restaurants, all within a five minute walk and they were great. I hope they can improve upon their listing as it was not accurate. The apartment needs some maintenance, there was only one tv, not two as stated, there was no coffeemaker or toaster and the towels and bed linens need to be improved. The various trash containers need to be larger as they were really only satisfactory for about two days and then we had no place for garbage, recycling, etc. Finally, while one bathroom was located within one of the bedrooms, the other bathroom was located on the opposite end of the apartment from the second bedroom. Calogero had left us some water and coffee and also delivered some delicious cannoli. They are very sweet and gracious host so I really hope they can make some improvements and be very successful.

We enjoyed our stay in this well located neighborhood near the harbor and downtown, surrounded by all the services we needed. The home is spacious and well appointed with good beds and a nice kitchen. Our host was wonderful and most helpful. This is a true home and having the convenience of a washer was much appreciated. We were well pleased with our stay.

The property was beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located close to the centre. Our hosts Colagero and Angela were extremely accommodating, helpful and sympathetic. We would love to come back!

We were a little disappointed with the rubbish and refuse that seemed to be everywhere. Apart from that we had a lovely holiday.

The apartment is lovely, well located in a quiet part of Palermo. The kitchen is well equipted with pots, plates, and utensiles in good condition. It is an easy walk to markets, tourist sites, interesting neighborhoods, and the sea. Calogero was most helpful and took good care of our needs. Highly recommended.
