Pool area doesn’t have much shade

Loved the two little dogs who came and visited everyday and all the other wildlife. The proximity to Quantum gym, literally 5 min walk down the road pretty much had it to ourselves. The path by side of villas which made an easy walking loop down to beach. The staff were lovely.

Wi-Fi router right at head of bed js a bit worrying. I don’t think the price point is appropriate but it is slim pickings in Barbados.

We absolutely loved our stay at West Rock Villas! The location is perfect, literally a 2 minute drive to the nearest beach (you can also walk there easily) and surrounded by amazing bays and restaurants. The Villas are so clean and private. Couldn’t fault them. They feel really luxurious, perfect location, very well equipped, sea views - everything you could want! Paul was fab, always on hand if we had any questions / needed any advice. We were also able to secure late checkout which was super helpful with our flight not being until late afternoon. Highly recommend staying here and we for sure will be back!!! Thanks so much Paul.

Lovely villas in an excellent location. Paul was always there to help. We hired a car as it makes it much easier to get to the beaches and other locations on the island.

Wonderful location nestled between Sugar Hill and Westmorelands, surrounded by tranquility. Villas had everything we needed including robes, a personal favourite. Our host Paul was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We loved being surrounded by nature and were thrilled to be visited by the local monkeys. I would recommend a car and would certainly recommend a visit to The Deck at Sugar Hill next door, a short 8-10 walk. The pool area was well maintained and never busy although most of the Villas were occupied. A truly relaxing stay and would love to stay again. Highly recommend. Check out their website. Loved loved ‘West Rock Villas’! …We have been visiting Barbados for over 30 years and up to now have always stayed in hotels but this year we decided to be alittle more adventurous staying self catering at the ‘West Rock Villas’ there are 6 properties at the moment, 4 one bedroom and 2 two bedroom villas of traditional Barbadian ‘Chattel’ house design these villas are very unique in design both on the exterior and interior having a great location on the area of ‘Westmoreland’, immediately adjacent to the ‘Sugar Hill’ resort which has a great restaurant ‘The Deck’ only a 10 minute walk uphill from the villas, we had brunch on the Saturday served 11-4pm it was delicious and the service was excellent with great views, they have happy hour most evenings too. Before booking West Rock Villas I did my research and read all the reviews and the villa certainly lived up to expectations. I had great communications with Brontë the daughter of the owners before our visit, she answered all my questions/concerns in a very informative friendly manner. On arrival we were greeted by the owner/host Paul who showed us into the villa earlier then the normal check-in time which we very much appreciated. Paul was an excellent host, he couldn’t do enough for during our 6 night stay always asking us if everything was okay. Paul gave us lots of tips and advice including the less than 10 minute walk down a track at the side of the villas to the coast road (sensible footwear required and I wouldn’t use this if it was wet or in the dark but we didn’t have a car so was great for us) which we took advantage of most days catching the local yellow buses to Holetown and Speightstown and many lovely beaches including Reid’s/ Gibbs/Thunder Bay/Mullins and Ciccos beach only a 10 minute walk along the coast road from the track. I would also recommend the beach club at Calma beach bar in Holetown. We had the two bedroom Villa (number 4) it had every amenity you could wish for….

Nice, clean and comfortable. Quiet location and nice pool area. Whilst you can walk to Holetown and the beach, it’s worth getting a car to get around.
