Great stay with family. The home is exactly as advertised. Check in was not ideal as reception gave us the wrong keys and then neglected to tell us there was an alarm system. The kitchen is well equipped but coffee maker leaks and appears to be on its last legs. Zero condiments (no oil, salt/pepper).

Superb villa, quality furnishings and immaculately clean. The outdoor space was great and the pool is lovely. Plenty of space and privacy for 2 families and teenagers. The area is quiet / residential but close to beaches and restaurants. We didn’t want to be in a very commercialised area so suited us perfectly. We would highly recommend and are keen to return.

Have been going to Presa de Moura for years and this is by far the best property we have stayed in. Well equipped and has everything we needed. Location is great and quiet. Stayed with our extended family which works as there is plenty of space for all. Sky sports is a real bonus as the cricket was on!

Didn’t want to give this property a good rating, as wanted to keep it all to ourselves 😜 but this is a lovely well kept villa. It is nicely decorated and in very good condition- probably because the owners use it themselves. It is a nice quiet area but close to many amenities and has a very good restaurant nearby. Ron was very helpful and we would definitely recommend this villa - couldn’t really fault it - we had a lovely time there and will definitely be back.

Villa propre, bien agencée et bien équipée mais ne dispose pas de volets aux fenêtres ni de rideaux occultants .. nous sommes tous fatigués, la lumière du jour à empêché les grasse matinée. A noter, l annonce en ligne est en euros mais le paiement est demandé en Livre Sterling

Een zeer goed gelegen, luxe ingericht huis, dat tip top is verzorgd. Heel schoon, heel netjes, alles is er (tot voorraad waspoeder, en speeltjes voor in het zwembad inclusief pomp toe). De inrichting was niet helemaal onze smaak, maar was wel compleet en zeer comfortabel. Goede routing ook in het huis, ruime kamers, overal airco, een heerlijke eettafel in de schaduw gelegen bij de veranda. Meerdere zitjes rondom het huis als je even rustig wil zitten. Zeer tevreden. Enige minpunt: de gordijnen beneden (heel licht). We hebben vuilniszakken voor de ramen geplakt, maar donkere gordijnen of rolluiken zou fijn zijn.

De villa is prachtig en zeer ruim. Er zijn diverse terrassen (ook in de schaduw) en een geweldig zwembad in de prachtig aangelegde tuin. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer luxe uitgerust, airco in alle kamers, badkamers, zeer uitgebreide keuken met alle inbouwapparatuur. We komen hier zeker weer terug. De ligging is perfect: mooie villawijk en overal dichtbij (dorpjes en stranden).

Extremely clean and spacious property. The communication with Ron was excellent and always quick to respond with very helpful instructions. Amazing transfer from the airport with Ron’s recommendation. The pool was great for the younger children as an accessible shallow end as well as a deeper end for an escape for the grown ups! A hire car is essential if wanting to explore and get to the local supermarket. Extremely helpful staff in reception ,including the maid services. We are already contemplating a return visit as soon as we can! Thank you for a fabulous holiday.

This is a stunning villa with high spec equipment and everything for a perfect holiday . We could have not asked for a better villa . the pool area actually took my breath away it was so lovely . If you have to leave the villa I Would recommend a car but the supermarket is walking distance . We had no issues with getting an Uber and plenty of nearby towns to visit no more than 10 euros in Uber .Definitely a place to return .The owner is very helpful and great communication and very thoughtful . Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely villa .

We have just returned from a two week stay. Villa is as described and as shown in the photos - very clean and spacious with high quality fixtures and fittings. The pool, surrounding terraces and BBQ area are lovely. Villa is cleaned and towels replaced twice a week. There is a mini mart and a few cafes/restaurants in walking distance with Carvoeiro, Ferragudo, Portimao and Alvor all short drives/cab rides away for restaurants, shops, boat trips, the water park and beach clubs. Ron was helpful and responsive and we would recommend the villa.

Really nice moment there, nice villa with swimming pool and view on the atlantic. Just missing some large and big pot for cooking for 9 persons. Otherwise the week was perfect. Thank you. GIACHINO Vincent

Our group of four couples has made an annual pilgrimage to Portugal in May for a significant number of years....and this tops the hit list. The villa has excellent facilities, including a large pool, and is well located for everyday shopping needs, local beaches, an excellent choice of restaurants and a variety of golf courses... all of which we used to the full.

The villa is decorated to a very high standard, is roomy, light and well equipped. The garden, terrace and pool areas are perfect. Good location near to beaches, shops and restaurants.

9 of us stayed here for the first 2 weeks in August 2017. There was 6 adults 2 children 9 and 7 and a 7 month old. All initial communication was done via Ron and he answered all the questions we had and made everything so easy. We hired a car from carvoiero car hire online and they dropped it off to the villa and collected it 2 weeks later. The property itself is beautiful, upstairs there is a double bed room and we had the travel cot supplied by the villa in there. We took our own foldable quad size mattress for the cot and I suggest you do the same if you want to use it other wise it is just 2 blankets with a sheet over. The other room upstairs is 2 twins. All the room upstairs and downstairs have enusites and are well stocked with towels. The cleaners come in twice a week to change beds and towels and toilet rolls plus give the floors a mop etc... Downstairs there are 2 more twin bedrooms but we arranged for the beds in one room to be pushed together to make a double. All the bedrooms and the living rooms have air con which was needed as nearly every day was 36 degrees. The living room has comfy sofas and good size tv which has English terrestrial channels on it. There is an alfresco dining dining section that is under cover as you step out from the kitchen and this also has a BBQ area in it. The outside is well maintained and the gardeners showed up which a lawnmower and hedge trimmer to ensure the gardens were well maintained. The pool was also checked by the pool guys and topped up accordingly. There is a reception over the road and if there was any issues we went over there and it was pretty much sorted straight away. The area is great and I can recommend the local restaurant Luisa Place. They do also do takeaway from the whole menu that you can arrange to collect. The town is about a 10 minute or an approximate 6 euro uber ride away. It was too far to walk for us and is all down Hill on the at the way there but all up hill on the way back. The town Carvoiero is nice and the ice cream shops and restaurants are great. I recommend the Ferrero Roche ice cream from the ice cream shop on the corner at the end. Ultimately we want to come again. The villa is perfect, the town is great and it's bang in the middle of the algrave for travelling to other towns. Give this 5 star easily.

We went as a family - 4 adults and 2 children and could not have been happier with the set up of the villa. Ideally situated, for us, in a quiet urbanisation within easy driving distance of amenities and supermarkets. The villa has recently had some new furniture and can honestly say the sofa's were as comfortable as we would want in our own home!! All 4 bedrooms have en-suites so that was brilliant in the morning and evening when we were getting ready to go out. The pool is a good size, with inflatables available, and our 2 grandchildren used it at every possible opportunity, we adults also but not quite so frequently. The maid came in a couple of times a week to clean and changed towels and bedding which was really appreciated. The villa is set up so you can easily cater for yourselves if you so desire. The covered terrace is excellent for alfresco dining, we used it every morning for breakfast and several evenings for a BBQ. The reception for Presa de Moura, which is just across the road from the villa is useful to order fresh bread for the following morning and also tickets for many of the attractions on the Algarve. I can honestly say the six of us had a wonderful time and are already talking of returning to Villa Libron in the next couple of years

This villa is even more beautiful then it appears on the web. It's absolutely stunning and has everything in it that you could possibly want, it is definitely a home from home. The rooms are bright, airy and very comfortable. The villa was spotless and was cleaned twice weekly. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained, and the pool was just beautiful. For the most part there was just my husband and myself staying, but for a week of our stay we were joined by another three adults, and this villa was easy big enough for 5 adults. The villa is within walking distance of a couple of really nice restaurants and a taxi ride into carvoeiro this year was just under €10 each way. We walked into carvoeiro a couple of days and it took us about 40 - 50 minutes. Ron, the owner was an excellent communicator and took the time while we were there to email and make sure that we were happy with everything. I cannot recommend this villa enough. We enjoyed it so much that while we were there we booked for next year.

The villa is in an ideal location to explore the Western Algarve and its fabulous non commercialised beaches. As two families of 4 the villa was perfectly proportioned and excellently equipped. The pool is a fantastic size for the villa and you catch the sun all day long. Overall a fabulous holiday in a great location and would definitely recommend to any larger family group or two families sharing.

We were a mixed family group of grandparents, parents, children and an 18 month old baby and can say we had a holiday to remember. The villa is equipped to a great standard - just like the photos with lots of space for everyone. Location is great with Carvoeiro and the beaches just mins away by car and other attractions - the water park at Lagoa and the medieval town of Silves just a bit further. Overall we had a wonderful time.

We so enjoyed our stay at Villa Libron. It was everything it said in the description - very well equipped, especially in the kitchen,and everywhere was really clean. The pool is beautiful, and we had lots of barbecues and a couple of takeaways from the excellent Hexagone restaurant just up the road (we were three generations with a one-year old, so had to split ourselves in the evening). Lovely atmosphere in nearby Carvoeiro, beach and restaurants. We had cause to ask for some help from reception when my daughter damaged her foot whilst out walking, and they were so helpful. We didn't hire a car, used taxis which were very reasonable and readily available - we found that to be more reasonable than hiring a car and everyone could have a drink! All in all, it was a fantastic holiday - mostly because of the beautiful villa - we hope to go again!

Villa Libron is beautiful and everything was perfect for a lovely break.

We loved it. Fantastic villa. Very clean , staff changed towels bedding regular. Nice to be given towels for the pool area. Our only little snag was the fridge was not big enough & could do with another fridge just for drinks. like water, fizzy drinks wine & beer. As it was so hot we wanted to keep the beverages cold. Apart from that, fabulous place to stay. We want to return.

We had a lovely stay at villa Libron. The house was very well maintained , kitchen was well equipped ,and furnished comfortably . I loved the out door area , a beautiful area to relax after a day on the beach; my husband enjoyed the BBQ very much. The villa has a good location with lovely beaches near by, with a water park short drive away , many supermarkets around and a really good restaurant near by Bon Bon ( for parents night out ). Please do visit Silves, we were lucky to be there during It's festival ; my family enjoyed it very much . Do not hesitate to stay in this property , I highly recommended .

Great villa and pool,well maintained every thing you needed in kitchen. Good local beaches we like the beach at Ferragudo 10/15 drive, easy to park on beach even in August,safe for young children. Good food in Ferragudo as well Sueste for fish, Italia for pizza and Club Nau all child friendly if you don't let your kids run riot.

Is there a better place to stay in Portugal ? I doubt it! We found Villa Libron was very well appointed and had everything we required during our stay.The in-house guide book was very helpful to us for finding where to go and how to get there. The Villa was in immaculate condition and exceptionally well maintained. The local agent/manager was very helpful and approachable. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa to both family and friends
