We rented both the Mansion + Castle for our company staff retreat. The space and amenities were perfect for our team. We had plenty of space and a lot of fun - everything is exactly as pictured (if not better). The folks at Hilltop were extremely communicative, responsive, and helpful during our booking, checkin, and checkout process, and throughout our stay. It was the perfect location for our team to get together and we would recommend it for any team off-site.

Place was spotless and clean. Our 2-3 asks were met with no cleaning product smells, We were met with a smile and the home was everything we expected and more.

I went with a group of friends and had the best weekend possible! The experience was flawless, from the pre-booking with Karen, who was extremely helpful and attentive, to returning the house with Matt, who was a super attentive host, addressing all our questions promptly. The castle itself is wonderful, very spacious, with comfortable beds and impeccable facilities. The castle boasts an abundance of leisure and entertainment options; a weekend was too short to explore everything it has to offer. I'm already looking forward to going back.

Our stay here was great! So many activities to do, you never get bored. It’s big and beautiful and communicating with the property manager was very easy! Would stay again!

Fantastic property.

Stayed here with the whole family of about 25 people. Couldn’t have had a better experience anywhere else. Everyone of all ages had a blast. The only drawback was the weather, but blame that on November. Will definitely come back here in the summer. Can’t recommend this castle enough. Especially to large groups or families.

We hosted our daughter’s sweet 16 at the Castle. We could not be happier with the accommodations. Matt is incredible as a host and I would highly recommend you stay at the Castle. My family was not only comfortable but felt right at home. It was hard to say goodbye to the Castle and looking forward to being back. Thank you, Matt!!!

10 our of 10!!!!! Just finished a corporate leadership summit at Hilltop Castle World. We rented all 4 properties and it was AMAZING! Our company culture leans towards doing things in a unique way and when I found the property it was absolute fate! One of our goals was to breakdown barriers between departments and going to a hotel was not going to accomplish that. Being in a communal and immersive experience where attendees were living/eating together was absolutely perfect!!! On top of that the overall property itself was great - modern and new without being cold. The castle is SO cool and the layout is perfect for any group. So many built in activities that if you don't have a budget you can work within what is provided and still never get bored. We also received a catering recommendation from the owner and it worked really well! The owner was SO helpful and answered all of our questions! I cannot speak more highly of this experience!

Our group had so much fun at the Castle! The kids loved exploring all of the secret passageways and hidden rooms. The pools were great, the house was super clean, and the hosts were very accommodating.

Hilltop provided the best retreat location our staff has ever had. It's the perfect combination of hotel-like accommodations (comfy beds!) and enough activities to keep 35 adults entertained for 3 days. We never left the property, and everyone had a blast!

Overall our experience was wonderful. The Castle was clean, comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. The treasure hunt was fun! (You’ll get your daily step quota.) One suggestion, more dish towels in the kitchen would be helpful. One small complaint, paying additional for propane to heat the pool did not sit well. It should be included, this is not an inexpensive rental. That being said, I would definitely recommend the Castle to others. It is unique and suitable for a variety of groups. Also, our host Matt was a pleasure to deal with!

The rooms were comfortable. There was so much to do on the property. It was suited for all ages. The scavenger hunt was really awesome. We definitely want to come back.

We've stayed at lots of vacation rentals through the years, but none like the castle. It had so much space for our group, ranging in age from 6o to 1. From the pools, to mini golf, to the theater, we were never bored. Our absolute most favorite part though was the treasure hunt. What an amazingly executed idea on an incredible property. Everyone in our group is already looking forward to returning!

The Castle was stunning, from the beautiful interior design, picturesque scenery and comfortable set up for a large group of people. The property had endless activities and cozy areas that made for a seamless and engaging weekend.

My group of 35 had an amazing stay. The hosts were both very professional and communicative. The house was clean and true to the pictures with excellent amenities. The location is a bit off the beaten path but that was to be expected. Cannot wait to come back when the weather is warmer and we can take advantage of the pools!

We had a group of about 42 guests for a summer weekend getaway. The castle really lived up to the hype and great fun was had by all. No issues whatsoever. We especially liked the “dance club” basketball court and the great sound system in the movie theater! Definitely recommended 5 starts. Thank you for such a wonderful memory :-)

In our crew of friends, the plan was in 2021 we’d go on an adults only trip to celebrate a bunch of us turning 40 just like we did a few years prior when another bunch turned 40. Well, with the pandemic we weren’t sure what restrictions would be in place for air travel or resort travel so we started looking at renting a giant house with our group within driving distance of Buffalo, NY. When we came across Hilltop Castle, it was a little outside our budget but it had everything we needed. Our group is mostly couples so for each room to have a private bath, it was almost like we had our own hotel for a few days. Plus it’s a castle, how could we not do it! Everyone agreed it was worth the extra money to rent the castle and when we got there we realized we made the right decision! This property was unbelievable!! The hidden passages and rooms were so fun to find! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen had enough seating for all 35 of us and then some. It was just perfect!! We paid to have one of the pools heated so we spend most of the daytime hours outside. The large foyer was perfect to play cornhole when it rained or dance party at night. The kitchen was amazing, we had it catered by their recommended chef one night and had a Royal Dinner. We dressed like queens and kings and knights l, etc. the food was amazing!! The tunnel in the basketball court was hilarious to do silly photo shoots with the props. The enchanted forest was a little wet after some rain but worth doing. Bring old sneakers though and spray bug spray before you go. We all brought coolers of beer but was suprised that they had large beverage coolers in the hall off the kitchen. This was a really nice touch. We kept all the beer, booze and water, pop etc and we didnt have to worry about ice in the coolers. The guys golfed at a nearby course one day and said it was gorgeous. The moms stayed back at the castle and hired a massage therapist to come in, recommended by the owners. She was wonderful. The owner was very responsive if we ever needed anything. One of the slot machines that you put real money in, also pays our real money. So he won $200 and I sent the owner a photo of the slip and within 5 minutes he was at the front door with cash for him! We had such a great time, we even talked about coming back with our kids one day. They would love it too!
