A lovely place to stay - a short stroll to the beach, the split areas suited our group and the older kids loved the ping pong table. We are all looking forward to visiting again :)

Great location for a quiet stay. Only a short walk to the beach. This house is flat and great for families especially with little kids as the grass & outdoor entertainment area is enclosed. The playroom is a fun spot with additional TV and couches. The house was very clean.

We chose this house for 2 families, to get away with minimal risk during covid. Our stay consisted of simply walking in, putting our bags down, loading the fridge and activating holiday mode. There's plenty to do here, our teens enjoyed the games room & walks to the beach so much so that they barely used the complimentary wifi. A great sized table both indoor and outdoor saw us enjoying heated family games of uno, which didn't upset the neighbours and kept the kids off their devices. Us parents enjoyed the spa and there's enough room to be on top of each other or enjoy some peace & quiet on a book or a nap. The outdoor shower is great for the kids after the beach and for a quick shower before & after the spa. The kitchen has a great sized pantry and under bench area to store your groceries without filling the bench, very handy when both families over cater on food. There's appliances and an excellent assortment of cookware to get you full use of the weber style BBQ for 7 people. Lot's of platter dishes for mid afternoon biscuits and cheese. No stingey 8 plates & glasses here, there's enough to fill the dishwasher and still have plates for breakfast. A full sized washing machine, dryer and clothesline saw us well. The only downfall was hotwater supply, but the house and flat appear have seperate hotwater services which worked out well. The owners here are clearly on the ball with needs and wants in a holiday house with kids. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ariella. The hosts are vey thoughtful and considerate and the property is located conveniently between Shoal Bay and Little Beach, no need to drive. There is ample space for children to play outside or inside at the property and is a well appointed holiday home. I highly recommend Ariella.

Myself and two children aged 9 and 10 recently enjoyed a week stay. The property was wonderful, it has everything you need and is in a really quite location. We all enjoyed the spa and games room and can't wait to return.

Our family had a wonderful time in Ariella. We really loved the spa and the games room. Ariella is very clean, all amenities are available to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The property's location is a big plus, it's about 2-mins leisurely walk to the beach. Joe is always happy to help with all our queries. We will definitely come back!

The house is well set out. Plenty of space and well stocked with fun things to do( games etc) At the quieter end of Shoal bat, so very relaxing. Thanks

My family and I had such a great time at staying at Ariella, during our vacation to Shoal Bay.The house is far enough away from the town centre to give peace and quiet and is only a short stroll to the beach frontClean, spacious and extremely well laid out - we felt comfortable letting our kids run around without worrying about their safetyThe additional separate accomodation gave our in-laws (and us!) the privacy we both needed and the games room kept us entertained when the rain stopped us from heading out!Have a family and looking for a great holiday? Looking for a perfect place to stay? Look no more, you found it! Where do I start, place is huge, clean, fully equipped. From the front garden with bird feeder and veggie patch, to the games room, spa and great outdoor entertainment area and then fully airconditioned living areas, large TV's, etc. etc. etc.You will leave thinking one of two things, I wonder if we could extend out stay or I wonder if we could buy the place :-)While playing in the front yard with the kids, a young couple walked passed, stopped and admired the place from the street, commenting they loved "our" house ... had to explain it's a rental, but it really is amazing. I have never had the owners ring me before to check if we are enjoying ourselves and if everything was in order.This is the only place we will ever stay in when in Nelson Bay in the future.Thank you for your hospitality and Merry X-mas!

We enjoyed our stay at ariella very much.The games room kept the kids amused all weekend.The outside BBQ area is great for entertaining.The adults spent most of the weekenend there.Also the property is only a short stroll to beautiful shoal bay beach.We'll definitely be back again.Brent

My family and I had a great christmas holiday at Ariella. The house was very comfortable and accommodating. My husband is in a wheelchair, he found it easy to get around in. Its in the best part of Shoal Bay area close to Little Beach for little kids and Big Beach for the big Kids. The owners look after it very well, its a pleasure to stay there.

Clean, organized and comfortable home in rain or shine. Great for small children and adults. Convenient to beach and cafes. We loved it and would go again.

Our families had a great time at Ariella. The Separate games/TV room was great for us and the kids and dinners were made easy with the bbq area right in the middle.The house is perfectly located near shoal bay beach,a quiet location, very well equiped and maintained. Communication with the owners was easy and they made themselves quite accessable. Thanks hope to be back next year.
