Overall, I it was great. Having the beach so close was amazing, as was the view. I took my windsurfer and had a couple of great sessions over the week, and could store it still rigged up, securely in the garage space on ground level, with our fishing gear. This saved so much time and effort. There was an additional car spot for the apartment which was even better!

apart from a fairly recent bathroom reno, the apartment needs a bit of a makeover. New couches, coffee table, Smart TV, stove top, would be easy ways to enhance the apartment. The lack of Air Con and WiFi was a drawback I didn't think to check prior to booking. We made do with our small devices, and the weather was great so didn't spend much time watching screens. The ceiling fans copped a workout, and struggled to provide much comfort at night, once the sea breeze had died. The most annoying thing of all was that even though there a no smoking signs scattered around the place, people still had the disregard to smoke on balcony's in adjacent and lower apartments, which at times made things very uncomfortable and did spoil the experience at times.

There was no air conditioning and there were over grown garden that made parking difficult. The price.

So close to the beach. Also nice and quiet as it was in between Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay towns.

There was no attachment for the taps outside the building so we couldn’t wash our feet before coming upstairs. Would be great if this could be replaced.

Basic and dated, windows were not clean, carpet is worn, furnishing items are basic and worn, outside chair broken, needs a bit of extra love, style and refurbish
