Older property but has been updated with everything you could want and brilliant view from the upstairs balcony

Great cute little bespoke renovated 70s beach house . had everything we needed .. location is unbeatable, beach access is directly across the road .. kids loved it .

We had a great time. The house has 2 lounge spaces (one a bit separated from the rest of the home & upstairs) so was great for older kids to have their own space. The owners left us access to many of the little basics that I always forget to pack - sugar, cooking oil etc. Great access to beach walks.

Stove has a Gas Leak, we kept smelling Gas in the kitchen , cockroaches both dead and alive and roach poo on dishes? Also No Dishwasher in so called Modern Kitchen, so Mum didn’t get a real holiday and I still had to wash dishes. Great View from upstairs veranda but weird setup of rooms. Could use fold out sofa bed up in top room for extra beds and larger TV. Automatic watered hose sprays everywhere over and under Steps and door (with start of Woodrott )and makes it very Slippery and sprays courtyard and not on garden? Cracks in retaining Wall and looks like it may give way, dangerously rocks fell down while water was on? Downstairs shower has very slippery tiles , with a deceptive step down , (No Warning Sign) not level with floor and I slipped over several times. The downstairs toilet door does Not close for privacy despite two locks on door? Basically looks like a home handy man has half heartedly done maintenance but hasn’t finished the whole job? The AirConditioner and fan didn’t work in second bedroom after a couple of days, told owners, they said they would ring me back after talking to Electrician but nothing happened? Taps that had no water and taps with wrong signage of hot and cold taps. Dishes, glasses are chipped and not full set. Their Old and needs replacing? The fridge has limited shelves and no door shelves for milk etc? The Baby’s fold up Crib was disgustingly dirty, so we didn’t use it for my newborn granddaughter? Stained Blankets too? With a bit of proper maintenance, full cleaning of linen, blankets, windows , screens and jobs finished properly could have heaps of potential? Attention to detail of the house would really make a difference to the entire experience!

A perfect family weekend in a well equipped and comfortably quirky house. Hiccough on entry promptly resolved. Wow what a beautiful bay view.

House had everything we needed but the standout is the upstairs lounge with balcony overlooking the ocean and Shoalwater islands.

So close to the beach, just a walk across the road. Great location and only a short drive to cafes & restaurants. So nice having the balcony to view the wonderful sunsets. Kite & wind surfers to watch. Such a very relaxing way to spend a few days with friends.

Lovely views, swimming, beds, towels, everything we needed, hot water, would love to have access to balcony for happy hour & the view.

We love this house. Heaps of space for the whole family. Great quiet location right across from the beach. Absolutely amazing view, The house was lovely and clean and comfortable for all of us. The bath was brilliant! Really like the quiet neighbourhood.

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children. The set up of the house worked out perfectly and the huge bath was the highlight of every day for the kids. The location right opposite penguin island was beautiful to look at every day. Thank you!

Contact with owners very good, Fantastic views from upstairs lounge/balcony. Very clean and comfortable, although layout of accommodation unusual. Only problem found was number of ants (kitchen and rear bathroom). Would happily return again.

Enjoyed our stay, beautiful views and sunsets. Enjoyed the closeness to the beach and a nice stroll to the penguin café for a coffee. A little hick up was had with the hot water service, but was fixed promptly follow day although it was a Sunday. Very appreciative I would defiantly stay again

Our family loved staying here. The jacuzzi was a hit. Blinds could do with a clean though

It was a very enjoyable and fantastic place to stay, would definitely stay there again, nice and peaceful with full amenities and plenty of things to do.
