Thanks Ash for our wonderful stay at Wanaka cottage. Your place was wonderful in every way. The open fire, the cosy feel , the magical scenery through the loft window it truly exceeded our expectations and made our stay in Wanaka something very special - highly recommend this place .

We felt right at home in this charming and well appointed cottage in Wanaka. Very comformfortable, stunning views, private. The guest house is well situated just a few minutes from the central town of Wanaka. It is a lovely, quiet retreat. Exterior hot tub was well enjoyed! HIghly recommend.

Beautifully presented with great furniture that matched the cottage vibe ( especially the bed extremely comfortable ) very private great setting and yet close to town restaurants in fact is a very nice one very close excellent hosts who made sure we had everything we needed couldn't ask for more.

Delightful surprise. Was greeted by the owner and given a thorough tour. The home is extremely tasteful with many thoughtful amenities for a traveler. Very private. Kitchen well equipped - and laid out - sorry I didn't get to use it or stay longer for that matter. One of the best VRBOs out there.

We had a lovely stay at Ash and Jackies place, super clean and tidy, big outdoor space and spa were a great bonus! Ash was very friendly and helpful, and the bowl of freshly picked raspberries was amazing!! Our doggo loved it as well, lots of sunbathing spots for her in the garden - and she would love the fire in winter! Hope to be back - thank you!

My mum, myself & my little girl had such a lovely stay at Wanaka cottages. The attention to detail was wonderful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, fastidiously clean & relaxing place to stay in the Wanaka area.

The cottage has been lovingly restored and is full of character. It is located literally 2 minutes walk from the centre of town so is really handy. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it ti anybody

We absolutely loved staying at the charming cottage. It was perfect for what we needed with the added bonus of a welcoming host. Ash is a joy to communicate with and we felt well looked after. We will be back again in the future.

Easy location, super quiet and private. Luxury fittings, linen etc and even a spa!

My partner and I stayed 3 nights at Wanaka's cottage and couldn't be happier with our choice. Ash was extremely friendly and very helpful. The cottage itself is just beautiful. There is a spa out on the little backyard that we used every night, and the bedroom upstairs has got incredible views on the mountains. Overall it was a great experience and we couldn't recommend it enough.

Very well appointed. Nice welcoming bread, butter, jam and pastries. Really wonderful hot tub. Lovely view. Wanaka lavender farms toiletries.

We loved this little cottage. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children, and it was perfect and just what we wanted for our stay in Wanaka. The views out to the mountains are stunning, especially from the master bedroom. The furnishings are really comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed, including the thoughtful welcome package provided by the owners. We loved the cafe right next door and were there every day for our morning coffee and croissants. There's great food options in town. It can often be a struggle to find good food when you're feeding 2 young kids, but we didn't have any issues in Wanaka. The supermarkets provided everything else we needed and the kitchen in the cottage was fully stocked with good quality pots and pans, a full pantry and a great gas stove for when we wanted to cook. The cottage is within close driving proximity to town, but far enough away to feel that you're away from it all. We definitely hope to stay again in the near future. Gorgeous property with a beautiful garden. It is quite a distance from town if you are walking, so best for those that are happy to drive into town or stay in during the evenings. Our baby loved the toys and we loved the hot tub! The muffins and bread etc on arrival was hugely appreciated too. A wonderful place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Only concern was we paid extra to be in a quiet location. There were weddings w bands three of the five nights we were there. Host was apologizing and tried to keep them quiet after certain hours but was not what we had expected. Otherwise lovely location- especially if your going to the weddings!

Beautiful private property, great location as your close to Wanaka village but out far enough to enjoy the quietness of the country. Waking up to the view of the mountains was gorgeous. Would highly recommend staying at Wanaka Cottage.
