Everybody was very friendly and the house was great with an amazing view. I will come back.

We’ll said , the house was ,nice , but missed a lot of thing in the kitchen area, some of the fan are not working , no hand towel on the bathroom, only one toilet paper per restroom for almost three days, some of the lights weren’t working.

The property is beautiful a the staff was amazing. The out door living area and pool are more then the pictures can show and this is where we spent all of our time. The only down side was the kitchen could use some upgrading as for us we like to do a lot of our own cooking. On the positive side it is so close to downtown it is very easy to eat out whenever you feel like it.

I feel bad the I can't remember the names of the girls who helped us in the house. They were so helpful and nice. House was amazing with a beautiful view. The only problem with the house it's the road to get there. Need a lot of fixing. But overall I would definitely rent this property again.

Overall good not very impressed

From the moment we checked in to the property the owner gave us a warm welcome. Their staff was amazing throughout our stay. The grounds keeper was great and made us feel safe and Jasmina helped us in every way possible from cleaning to even helping us prep our meals. Beautiful experience with breathtaking views highly recommend and will definitely be booking again in near future. 5 out 5 star 🌟 rating.

Had a great Father/Son trip. House was beautiful and centrally located to many activities. The best part was the staff, Jasmine and her team took wonderful care of us. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We all had such a great time. The home is just beautiful, the pool clean, and just a short drive to the beach. What made our stay even better was adding the cook. Jasmine and Dania were great and the food was delicious. Don Miguel was also very helpful. Thank you Mykonos!

La casa Myconos, es un lugar agradable, que permite el descanso y la relajación, muy recomendado para familias con niños, porque su estructura arquitectónica es esplendida, segura para la circulación de los niños, espacios abiertos, sin tanto vidrio y aluminio, que al menos a mi me molesta, escaleras seguras, habitaciones limpias y confortables, con dos niveles perfectamente interconectados inside an outside. Sus dueños son personas agradables, respetuosas y con muy buen trato y abiertas al diálogo. Es la tercera vez que estoy en esta casa y sigo teniendo la misma impresión desde la primera vez, es espectacular. Ya he estado de descanso en otras casas en San Juan del Sur y esta sigue siendo la mejor!!!!!

Pictures cannot capture the feeling you get being in the outdoor spaces overlooking the ocean. It was so spectacular and so relaxing. The house was perfect for our extended family. We hired Carla and Martha to cook for us during our stay and they were amazing. No restaurant could compare. We enjoyed such a great variety of seafood and local dishes, all prepared and served fresh. The location was very convenient to the local town and all the activities we had planned. Still some of our best time was had in and around the pool. We would definitely return, and fear we may never be able to top this vacation experience. We flew into Liberia, Costa Rica and had transport company take use across the boarder and to the house. The boarder crossing not as quick as we expected, so would recommend coming via Managua if possible. Don’t be fooled by the amazing pictures, this place is even better than it looks!!!!

Great location, very quiet neighborhood, outstanding view to the San Juan del Sur bay area, very close to amenities (pulperias, clothing stores, restaurants, etc), Enthusiastic crew attends the house in a very friendly environment. Our family had a great stay and a very good time...

Our family of 14 (age range 7-75) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Mykonos. The outdoor spaces are truly serene. The house is well maintained with comfortable sleeping arrangements for a large group. The staff and owners were attentive to our needs. We did need 4x4 vehicles to get the house (very steep hill), and to the beaches - which was not a problem to obtain. SJDS is an easy 10 minute walk (don't forget about the uphill home). The restaurants in town are great. Jasmina and Julia prepared dinner for us at the house two of the nights, and I wish we would have asked them to prepare more meals. They were superb! I can't say enough good things about Villa Mykonos. We hope to return! As a side note - our group flew into Liberia, CR and had a company pick us up at the airport and guide across the border and to the home. Overall, it was a fairly easy process.

We had a family gathering for Thanksgiving. The house slept 15 family members comfortably. The views were gorgeous. Bring Deet bug spray because the mosquitos come out in the evening. Only downside was the plumbing for showers was temperamental at times and the food a bit bland. Overall, excellent experience. Would recommend the home strongly!

We stayed at Villa Mykonos with our family in July. It was truly the most amazing place and best experience. During and throughout our planning/trip, Joaquin and his family were so gracious and helpful! They tended to every detail and gave us info on anything and everything we needed. The staff at the house is incredible as well; we had food and drinks made everyday and it was wonderful! The house is incredible, service was incredible. It was such a relaxing worry free vacation - we recommend staying here 10000%!

We had a great time in San Juan Del Sur. The property is beautiful with an amazing infinity pool, air conditioned bedrooms, and amazing helpful staff. We hired them to cook delicious meals for us. Downtown San Juan Del Sur is within walking distance, but it's probably easier to drive and there are also multiple other beaches nearby including Playa Maderas. I highly recommend this property.

I have stayed in many different vacation rentals in Nicaragua and Casa Mykonos was by far the greatest house we have ever rented. The pictures do not do the property justice. Stop wasting your time looking for other options. Book this compound now before it is too late. The owners were a delight to work with and were very helpful through the booking process. The staff is better then what you would find at any 5 star accommodations anywhere in the world! Thanks Joaquín! We are counting down the days until we can return to Casa Mykonos.

Nicaragua doesn't look like much when you arrive in Managua. Roads to San Juan del Sur are good, with an occasional horse or cow blocking the way, making for an interesting drive. Things get a bit scruffy once you arrive in SJDS. After a long stretch of "where are we?", a steep hill awaits. After a 2 hour and a half journey from the capital, the villa's front door awaits. This is where everything changed. The first thing we saw after opening the front door was the view. It was simply breathtaking; the pictures don't even do it justice. We couldn't help but gasp, and then scream of joy, and then run around the house to take everything in. The master bedroom is a thing of beauty, and the scenery from the balcony is worth every penny. Every room is great and has its own bathroom. 15 people sleep comfortably. The rest of the villa is amazing. The kitchen is quite large. The dining room sits 15 around the table, perfectly built for sharing. The living room is huge, with two sofas in different areas, countless chairs and two hamacs. There is also a bar, a barbecue, and an excellent sound system with speakers dispersed in the room. Rain or shine, this living area is the best part of the house. Still remains the pool area, with more chairs and another sofa. And the view is sublime. We couldn't help but regroup every evening and enjoy the sunset with a nice Toña beer or a kraken on hand. The villa is at a walking distance - about 10 minutes - of the SJDS village. A small shop with essentials, water, ice, beer and rhum is at the bottom of the hill - about 3 minutes by foot - and a Pali supermarket with everything we needed is in town. I'd recommend going by car (5 minute drive). As for activites, the villa is the perfect stepping stone for everything you want and need to see in Nicaragua. The famous SJDS Jesus is quite close (90 minute round trip hike). The SJDS beach is nice, but there are better beaches further from town, especially for surfing. Playa Hermosa is our personal favorite and is a quick 15-20 minute drive away. Playa Maderas is quite nice and is also 20 minutes away. Day trips to Ometepe or Granada are very feasible, but expect an early morning rise and a return after sundown. Our trip was amazing all around, in most part because of the dreamy and paradise-like villa and everyone we met along the way. The house was in a great neighborhood, well-appointed, with breathtaking views and superior staff. I went with a large group to celebrate the opening of the first building on the new free high school campus. We loved the ability to socialize together, but still have private spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed and the two refrigerators were a blessing. I would highly recommend this property

Absolutely one of the most beautiful homes in Nicaragua. The open air living area is more than adequate for the guests that take up the 7 bedrooms. The staff was very attentive and incredibly courteous. The view overlooks the entire bay, statue, beach, and hills. Could not recommend more!!!

I enjoyed every minute of my stay at Villa Mykonos. The house is spotless, spacious, cozy and the view from the Rancho on the main terrace is breathtaking. You can also enjoy the view of the cove from the infinity pool. The rooms along with the bathrooms are private and comfortable. The hammocks on the terrace are stellar and perfect for stargazing. The staff at Villa Mykonos are very kind and very helpful. They aim to please and are happy to do so. We hired Isa for a local feel of fine dining in house. She was amazing and the food was delicious! The property managers ensured that everything ran smoothly. The beach and town are just a short walk away. The nature in this area is so special that you feel calm and relaxed. I’ve already booked the home again for our next family trip in 2017 and we can’t wait to return!
