The house had everything we were looking for in a rental for the week. It is on a quiet street and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Very clean, with a nice yard and private outdoor seating. Relatively small (one story) but all rooms were very nice and clean. We spent the week there with our family of five and one set of grandparents. Would definitely recommend renting if you’re looking for a private 1-2 family, and okay with a ~1 mile walk to the beach.

Very comfortable house, very warm place and very well equipped to receive the family. Near a children's park and less than a mile from the sea. We really had a good time.

We had a wonderful stay in West Cape May. What a relaxing, lovely part of the world. Minutes from farms, vineyards, funky restaurants, beautiful protected lands and beaches, including Sunset Beach's perfect sunsets. All are a a short bike ride away. As is downtown...though it seems like you are a beautiful universe away! It was so nice to be able to ditch the car and roll around on the beach cruisers. The house is clean, comfortable, well-appointed and was just right for our family. The kids enjoyed the yard and neighborhood and their first words as we were loading the car to leave were, Can we come back next year? That says it all. Thanks to the owners for smooth transactions and attentive responses to any questions we had. 5 stars! Thx, Mark, Meg, Evan & Sam...

We enjoyed our stay at the home. It was in a perfect location for us - not too far from the beach and in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Perfect West Cape May location for those who prefer to be away from the crowds, but still walking distance to beach and Washington Street Mall. House is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Jerry is very accommodating. We'll be back!

We drove more than 1,000 miles to stay in this cottage, and loved every minute of our time there. The home is thoughtfully appointed, nicely updated, and charming overall. With three bedrooms and two baths, it accommodated our family (parents plus two teens) very well. There is plenty of space for each person to have privacy, but a wonderful gathering area, too. The kitchen was easy to cook in, the showers offered plenty of water pressure, the wifi was reliable, everything was clean and in good working order. All those little things that make you nervous about renting a place? ... None of them were problems here. Overall, the house is fresh and light-filled. We had a delightful week-long stay in this charming home.

Six of us girls got together for the weekend and the cottage was perfect for us. It was so much better than staying in a hotel. There was plenty of room for us and the front porch and back patio were perfect for hanging out. The cottage was exactly as depicted in the photos and the owners were very attentive to inquiries. We will definitely stay in the cottage again if we go back to Cape May.

We recently spent a week at this cute little cottage and loved our stay! Our group included an 11 year-old, two couples, and an 85 year-old and all of us were pleased with the house. It is very well kept and clean, located on a nice quiet side street not far from the beach (some of us made the 15-20 minute walk each morning, others drove) and the listing description is absolutely accurate ( we were pleasantly surprised to find some extras, too!). Broadway Beach is fabulous and the beach box provided convenient storage for our chairs and umbrella (plus, you're right near the snack bar and restrooms). Jerry and Laura were so easy to work with and there are so many restaurants, shops and fun things to do within just minutes of this house. We'd stay again!

Lovely house, close to everything but away from the hustle and bustle of town. The house was equipped with everything one would need. We were there for only a week end but I plan to return for a longer stay in the near future.

Well appointed and updated cottage in Cape May. My wife, three year old daughter and sister-in-law throughly enjoyed the place. There were toys and books for our three year old, updated kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of space for all of us. The cottage is full of light and has a beautiful back yard. The owners were very responsive to two minor concerns and overall our stay was quite pleasant. We would certainly go back again!

We especially enjoyed the outside shower when coming back from the beach. Trips to the beach were also made easy with the locker provided. The house was neat and well organised. It had many drawers, lots of closet space, hooks in all the right places and extra pillows and covers to get comfortable. It was truly appreciated to have a kid channel available and the outside BBQ with a large backyard. I also got to enjoy the balcony as there were rocking chairs to relax in. The cooking utensils very numerous and in good condition. Great also to have an icemaker with the freezer (it was very usefull). Having two bathrooms and appliances that looked brand new was again a big plus. A few suggestions for the owner: the mattress in the master bedroom could have been more comfortable. Also, it would be nice to know in advance that cleaning fees were extra. Finally, there were VSH movies but only one DVD. We didn't get any rain during our stay so it wasn't a problem but other renters might enjoy a wider selection of films (or bring their own). Thanks again for providing a beautiful cottage in which my family had a wonderful stay.

This cottage is even more lovely than the photos. It is charming and user friendly with all the essentials that make a rental a home away from home. We loved that it was located in a nice quiet neighborhood just a short walk or drive to many shops and restaurants, light houses, parks, etc. It was too chilly for swimming or sitting on the beach when we were there but the home was so comfortable and there was so much to do nearby that we didn't care. Next time we rent the cottage we hope to be able to eat in the backyard using the nice outdoor furniture not shown in the photos. The front porch was perfect for reading and relaxing. It was very clean, open and airy and very well decorated in addition to being well equipped. The owners are very friendly and made us feel like welcomed guests which is why we plan on returning next year.

Our family spent a long week-end at this fabulous cottage in W. Cape May. The listing accurately described the cottage, but it far exceeded our expectations! The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had regarding our stay. I would and have recommended this property to friends who might be traveling to the East coast. The beach was great, though a little busy, and Cape May has many restaurants for dining out. The cottage has a gas grill which we used for a special dinner. I have absolutely no reservations recommending this property to anyone.

Great place. Well kept up and very quiet. Loved. May not be right on the beach but well worth the walk.

We stayed in the small charming cottage in July. We have a family of five (2 teenagers and one 10 year old) and we were very comfortable. The street is very quiet( great for sleeping in) and a great place for kids to ride their bikes. We found everything in the cottage to be in working order. There is a nice front porch to relax and nice back yard for kids to play in. Like they mentioned, the distance to the beach is one mile. What we did, was drive down and unload and drove back and rode a bike back. They also provided 4 passes to the beach and a storage place down on the beach. The owner contacted us shortly after our return home and sent the security deposit to us in about a week. We enjoyed Cape May especially the beaches, shopping, lighthouse, and restaurants. The sunsets at Cape May Point were great. We would recommend the cottage and the area.
