Limits. Surface areas were clean, overall home is in dire need of deep cleaning. Vent to the attic is thickly covered in dust. Folks with allergies to dust and mold would not do well here people also have allergies to dust and mold. But, Walls are in need of a fresh paint. Kitchen closet there has dry food that missed the trash. Doors havd dirt/dust. Main shower cruddy with stains. Ring around toilet & vent dirty. No good storage space in kitchen. Cabinets /panty filled with duplicate/triplicate appliances. 4 coffee makers, 3 mixers, 12 fry pans, 2014 phone book, too many utensils some is poor shape, burners didn'twork well. The oven cooks below the temperature that it's set at. There is aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven to catch strips; This looks like it has not been changed out in a long time as it is strengths. Location. Comfort of living room furniture. Televisions in living room and downstairs. Openness of floor plan. Enough seating for the family.

Clean, comfortable, spacious home. 7 adult/young adults stayed here with room for everyone. The lake setting is just gorgeous, the screened porch was a favorite any time of day. We were able to play in the water around the dock, fished and had a fire one night. We rented a pontoon boat from Lake Effects midway marina, in 4 hours we had time to play, motor to the house and tie up at the dock for a break then motor back with more play time. Great location, great owners, really great weekend with family!

There were many things we liked about the property and many things we didn’t like. The screened in porched was amazing. Our family spent most of their time relaxing there. The older boys loved the dock, they went fishing and swimming most of the time. One even got a tad sunburned. I was very surprised that when we showed up some of the rooms are not like they are in the pictures. Some have different furniture in the bedrooms and there was no picnic table in the yard, which we hoped to use. The ping pong table was in poor condition, it looks very weathered and rotten from being outside. The foozeball table didn’t have any balls, looks like they tried to provide ping pong balls, which were too large and there where so many just shoved in the table we had to get a straw to jimmy them out. We found trash on the property when we got there. Old bag full of hair ties and old knife just sitting in the yard, beer bottles and cigarette butts. Which the property is suppose to be smoking free. The screened in porch did have giant holes in the screen, it looks like it was just taped down but now the tape is old and the screen just flaps open in places. I was also surprised to find a broken window on the porch. I was nervous that it was going to shattered with my children around. Also, the house is on well water, which we are use to, but we’re surprised they water turned brown within a day of us being there. The house says it can occupy 12 people but we only had 6 people taking showers( we didn’t shower every day)and using the bathroom. We did enjoy the location, Troutman is an amazing town. Good neighbors, quiet street, beautiful lake, but next time we’ve decided to find another location. Patty the main contact was sweet and lovely, made our check in process nice and easy. Just won’t be returning.

Our family had an amazing time at the lakefront rental property.. We like the accessibility to the stores in Mooresville. we also like the accessibility to get gas for our boat. The children love they could swim right off the dock. On the property there were games in the basement ping pong table outside the basement There was always something to do.

Great place for a fishing trip with friends. Dock with power was great and room to park boat trailers.

My son who lives in Troutman was Married 9/19/21. Our being from central PA,we decided to make a bit of a vacation of it. We stayed at The Waters Edge II for six wonderful days. The property was just as advertised. Picturesque lake location, clean and family friendly home. The location was 8 to 10 minutes from everywhere we needed to be. A bonus was a few days boating on the lake. Would not have changed anything even if I could. Patty was a great host, with communication her forte.

This Lakehouse was perfect for our family of 14. We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing location directly on the lake. The views were spectacular and the house had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for all of us we had the most wonderful time boating and swimming in the lake. We have family in the area so we will definitely be back. Thank you for the best family weekend ever.

This house was everything it said it was! Great location, lovely screen porch, great dock for fishing all in a beautiful cove! We rented kayaks and paddled around. Great time was had by all! Perfect house for a nice mellow vacation!

Just as described in the listing, a great place for a family vacation. This was our 1st time to Lake Norman. Patty was easy to get in touch with and was friendly and helpful. The house is on a quiet street and close to restaurants. Everything was clean and comfortable.

It was an absolute wonderful weekend! Each Adult child with their spouse had their own space. Common areas were perfect for relaxing or playing cards/games. Kitchen and dinning areas were perfect for family meals. Added bonus was the fire pit s’mores on our last night.

This place was great. The owner,while dealing with personal family events, made the time and insured my stay was properly confirmed and did an incredible job communicating with me before the stay. The house was exactly what a lake house should be. It was very clear yet had a lived in country feel. There was plenty of basic goods dishes,pots,pans etc. the furniture was very comfortable with several outdoor seating options outside. Nothing too fancy or fake just a good ole country style home well decorated. The dock was very nice to keep our boat and to fish off of. Hint earth worms with a small hook with a small weight is an almost guarantee for alll the 3-5lb catfish you can catch. We will be back. Lake Norman has everything you vacant imagine in a lake.

We spent our Christmas holiday here & had such a great time! We found all we needed in this home. Our favorite element was the basement with many game options. It kept the kids (ages 20 months-13 yrs) entertained and gave the adults some peace and quiet upstairs. The view was beautiful and we made many memories here! The owner was a joy to work with! Highly recommend!

We so enjoyed our weekend here. The house is so quaint and perfect! We had plenty of room for our big family and the view was nice! Looking forward to being able to stay again!

Property is in a great location. Living room is very comfortable.It was great setup for family. Would like to see a few updates.Beds were too firm for my liking.
