Beautiful home in a very convenient location. Very kind and helpful house keeper. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed as a couple of families and had a BBQ with some friends. Great spacious entertaining area outside. Lovely cosy loungeroom and fireplace inside. Kitchen had everything you needed.

A lot of stairs which was tricky for the little kids.

The location was beautiful and nicely secluded. The amenities provided were perfect for a short family stay.

Wonderful surroundings, the gardens were magnificent, a very peaceful and private location.

Lovely quiet spot with a nice outlook and easy access to Laura and Katoomba. It was perfectly clean and had everything you need. Clear communication. As lovely as the photos and even better. We'll rrecommend and stay again.

Allow for stair access if you have mobility issues, and make use of the the fan if not (we stayed mid summer). Take note of the bedding layout, as the downstairs seperate suite is perfect for a second couple (less suited to young kids if they need to be close to family.

Ribbon Gum Lodge was a beautiful family house with lots of space and very comfortable beds. The outside space was lovely (albeit we didn't use it as it was cold and wet) however I could imagine staying longer and using the garden and terrace. The house was located in a quiet and tranquil area with an outlook over woods. The previous guests had broken the oven and when the host was told he was very helpful and responded with an offer to pay for takeaway.

Because the house is along an unsealed driveway it can be hard to locate (both we and taxi driver struggled). A house number at the bottom of the drive would help (as well as saying "go straight on, up the unsealed driveway, when you reach the top of the hill)

Lovely, comfortable property with plenty of room for a family. Facilities excellent.

Sadly, there was no information regarding the access to the Lodge. There are 31 uneven steps which require some maintenance, and more substantial handrails. Advice to bring torches for returning at night would have been been helpful. My wife is quite unsteady due to knee problems and found entering & exiting the property uncomfortable. We would not have booked the property if we had known about the access. There is no mention of this in the information. Also there is no insect mesh on the main windows so ventilation in hotter month could be a problem.

Nice outlook very clean and comfortable

Too many stairs and there should be better railings on the stairs. It should be mentioned on your website that there are 20+ stairs. Not suitable for elderly people or anyone with mobility problems. There were two of us with these issues. Luckily we did not have any falls.

The host gave code for lock box was easy to find and retrieve with clear directions when you leave on what they requested from you also

There was nothing we did not like about the residence, it was close to local shops and the supermarkets at Katoomba, as well as the many walking places, the property has everything you need.

Difficult to find (street is divided into east and west that are divided). Follow instructions of host not GPS. Also very steep access for bags and cases whilst dodging swooping magpie.

The place was immaculately clean and set amongst beautiful trees. Huge windows surrounding the living space let in loads of natural light. Perfect for relaxing! I would definitely stay here again.

Cannot turn the car around in the driveway, but it's easy to back out. Not a big deal.

Cosy, clean lovely location

Property was easy to find. It was clean, complete with kitchen and bathroom essentials, comfortable beds with clean, crisp linen! I had a chat with Manager/Owner, he is a gracious host. Thank you!

Just a small area of improvement if I may suggest is to add lighting in the living area as we find the lone ceiling light to be quite dim.

Location, House Set Up

It was very cosy and had everything we needed. Tracy was very accomodating when we added another child in the booking at last minute. Would definitely stay here again if we come back in the area and possibly during the summer months as it was too cold to use the garden this time round.

the property had a very homey feel too it and the location was perfect, not too far from town and in between Leura and Katoomba.

Plenty of room for our family of 7. Good heating. Comfortable beds and good quality linen.

How water leaked outside the shower onto the floor soaking the mat. No extra garbage bags in kitchen. A new roll or toilet paper for each bathroom would have been appreciated.
