We had a fabulous vacation in St. Martin! The house was well equipped and spotless. We really appreciated the location as it's close to a number of beaches and shopping. Our grandchildren 5 and 7 thoroughly enjoyed the pool! We enjoy walking, so we were comfortable walking to the beach and shops from time to time. Michael was excellent to work with and communication was always prompt and helpful. Peaches was also very helpful and so pleasant to deal with. We will book the property again!

We had a great stay Check in was easy with Peaches she let us know if we needed anything she was available 🙂 communication with both Peaches and Michael was great Location was so nice and quiet, great view , loved the pool and the porch. We had all our meals on the porch it was a great spot to relax We loved that the villa provided a crib and a high chair which worked so well for our Granddaughter We would definitely return

My wife and I both really enjoyed this property. It was clean and comfy throughout. It's about a 15-25 minute walk to restaurants, beaches, grocery store, etc. This is on a quiet street and is a perfect location for a small family to use as their home base while on St. Maarten. We like to travel with a mixture of down time and adventure. We did rent a car and would rent one again. It made it easy to get around to our adventures (multiple dinners in Orient Beach, Grand Case, and a catamaran to Anguilla). Even though the island felt very safe, the secure property helped us feel safe about renting the car. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location on the Dutch side. Fantastic kitchen. Dreamy master. An outdoor area to dream about! Oh! And parking for 2 cars! A nice getaway for 3 couples.

Nice experience for a family of 5 for a 4 day stay. Great kitchen for cooking meals and the dishwasher was handy. Peaches was amazing and friendly.

I read the review about the issues with the pool, audio, ants, pool table, jacuzzi, neighbors’ roof, etc. and found it completely off-base. My family and I stayed at the villa shortly after this person and found the place absolutely amazing. Everything you need and more in a vacation destination was provided. We felt warm and welcome to the villa and Michael (host) and Peaches (villa manager / assistant) were most helpful with any questions we had. The pictures you see ARE real. The patio, decks, and views outside are spectacular. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room are clean, spacious, and well appointed. Although the adjacent property roof has damage from the hurricane, it was certainly not an eyesore or distraction to us. Given the views of the Caribbean from your room or deck, this property is by far the most gorgeous you’ll find. Also, we took our 14-month-old granddaughter and were delighted to have the crib, highchair, and pool toys. The patio has a gas grill which we used twice. Everything you need was there, including the propane. Can’t ask for more than that. The villa is the last property on the road which was very nice. There was no other traffic to the house, and we felt very safe and secure. As with another reviewer, an improvement we recommend is better/brighter lighting. It wasn’t terrible, just not as bright as we’re used to. For folks that do want to watch TV, we recommend bringing a ROKU for the main living room. We just found it easier to navigate than the apps that are available on the living room entertainment system. The master bedroom has an Amazon fire stick, so very easy to find stuff there. Everything considered, the host, property manager and villa itself met or exceeded all of our expectations. We would not hesitate to rent from Michael again. We couldn't be more happy with the personal service he provides. Very professional and easy to work with. 14-Dec-2022.

The pool leaked and had to be filled with a garden hose daily. The surround sound and streaming box was very complicated. Ants in the kitchen. Wasp outside made nest in the pool table. The roof of the house to the right below us was crumbled. Getting in the driveway was very tricky. The hills were incredibly steep. First day killed a Jack Spaniard in our bedroom. The jacuzzi did not work. Could not use the pool table. Air conditioner above the television started leaking all over the wires. The owner is very nice and does respond quickly but the place needs some major work before renting it.

My family and I stayed at the villa for a week and had a truly wonderful time. It definitely felt like home and we were extremely sad to leave! The property is very family friendly. We had a crib for our 2 year old and a high chair as well, which was very nice for safety. Waking up to the breathtaking ocean view was incredible, my 2 year old had the best reaction when the safety gates would open every morning. :) We especially enjoyed having a daily morning coffee on the patio area while watching the cruise ships. We mostly used the pool and stayed outdoors in the back/patio area. My older children (ages 10 & 13) were very happy to see various pool toys/noodles provided. The kitchen was very thoroughly equipped with every appliance one could ever need, which was really nice to have available. Make sure to buy dishwasher pods if you decide to do a bit of cooking, so that cleanup is a breeze! The mattresses in the bedrooms were extremely comfortable, the perfect level of firm. We slept very well! I also enjoyed the shower in the master bedroom, it was really luxe and relaxing. Perfect after a day exploring the island. You can tell all the amenities were really well thought out, there was nothing to be missed! The Villa is also in a very quiet/private area, yet in close proximity to various restaurants, beaches and the Casino. There is truly something for everyone, and I look forward to staying at the property again in the future. My family and I had a wonderful holiday and created great memories here. Thank you, Michael!

Coffee in the morning to watch the cruise ships travel past, meals whenever we ate at home and pool at night. The view was wonderful and the breeze was constant and cooling. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen exceptionally well equipped, and the entire property was very, very private. For the majority of the time we had 2 couples with visitors coming for a week or so at a time, and we never felt crushed for space. We rarely spent time inside, when the outside was always so pleasant. In our 7 weeks we saw most of the island, and we decided that the Simpson Bay area was the best place to stay. Everything you need is close by, including places to walk to if you are ambitious, but having a car is really a necessity. The final selling point was the owner and his on site representative. Michael was always accessible with a phone call and always addressed any concerns. His on site representative, Peaches, could not have been nicer or more helpful. All in all, a wonderful place in a great location.

We just got back from our 10 day stay with 3 couples at Michael's villa. It was fabulous. The villa is beautiful and has all the amenities one needs with several that other villas didn't offer like an outdoor pool table and an awesome sound system in the villa. Michael was very accommodating with our check in and out times (we know this is not always possible but some villas we have stayed at don't budge at all or want to charge more for this). Peaches, the villa manager was also very nice and helpful. We only had to call on her twice for minor issues that were resolved quickly. The pictures are very accurate and represent the villa perfectly. We cooked breakfasts and a couple of dinners in the villa and it has everything you will need in the modern fully equipped kitchen. The villa seems very private, especially on the patio and at the pool. The neighborhood is very safe and location is great. There is a beach, some restaurants, grocery store, shops, etc. within walking distance. We rented a car the entire time and it is well worth it. I would not hesitate to rent from Michael again and have recommended the villa to friends and family already. You will not be disappointed in this villa. The improvements I would recommend are better/brighter lighting over the vanity in the master bath and the same in the kitchen over the sink/counter area and add a light over the pool table on the patio so you can play pool easily at night.

The property was really nice with breathtaking views of the water. The house was comfortable comfortable and kitchen well appointed. It was nice to have a crib and washing machine since we were traveling with a 1 year old. It’s was so nice to have a pool. WiFi worked well. The only negative thing I have to say is that the TV in the living room didn’t work well, which isn’t important to me on vacation but my family was annoyed by it. I would stay here again in a second.

We stayed at the villa for a week late December 2019. From arrival to departure, we had a great experience. The villa is perfectly located near restaurants, beaches and commodities. and has stunning views! The villa is very well kept and very clean. Owner Michael and his assistant Peaches were very helpful in resolving minor matters that come up throughout the week. The pictures on website are a true rendition of the actual villa. Too bad we had to leave...

We spent a week at Villa del Mar recently where the accommodations for six adults and a baby were perfect. The crib and high chair were a bonus for the one year old, and the outdoor pool table kept the "older boys" entertained every evening. The pool is large and warm and was a great asset at the end of every day at the beach. The view is stunning and we never tired of taking pictures of the family from the pool deck with the gorgeous expansive water view in the background. The outdoor eating space was perfect for our family.The kitchen was modern and well appointed, and made it easy to cook for ourselves most evenings. Overall we were very happy with this villa and would recommend it to others.

The island is beautiful and people are very nice. Amzaing views throughout island and resturants were prefect with many options. Taking a boat trip to Angulla is recommended. Juliet was our driver and she was one of the best parts of the trip as she drove us everywhere and helped us with recommendations. She is like part of the family after the trip. The house was nice and pool table was enjoyable. Kitchen was prefect for cooking any meal. The view in backyard is prefect and haven breaskfast every day outside was nice.

I had a wonderful that this villa for the short time that was there. On my next visit it my intention to bring along my whole family.

Worked perfect for our family. The air conditioning worked great (it was hot when we were there). Modern accommodations and close to great restaurants. Fantastic views too.
