We had a couples joined Bach hang out for the weekend and it was so much fun. The house its self has so much to do, we found ourselves using every room for board games and family style dinners!
The barn out back was the highlight as we laid back, had some drinks and enjoyed all the amenities this beautiful farm house has to offer. If you have a large group that’s looking to relax and have some family fun, this is absolutely the place. 10/10! Thank you so much for having us.

We had a great time at this truly historic and lovely farmhouse, which had plenty of space for our family of 8 adults and 4 kids.
On the first day the weather was cold and rainy, however my grandkids had lots of fun running around indoors and playing hide and seek. While the grownups were enjoying the view sitting in the well-maintained screened porch.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, there was something to do for everybody, a beautiful big pool, hot tub, games in the barn and beautiful landscape around the house to walk, sit, relax and enjoy.
George was very helpful and responsive! Thanks so much for letting us stay in your wonderful property !!

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! The property was charming and cozy, with plenty of space for our group of eight. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The farmhouse itself was well-maintained and had all the amenities we needed. We particularly loved spending time outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views. The screened in porch was our favourite gathering spot! Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation.

We went with a few friends who also have young kids (ages2-5) and had an absolute ball- George is very kind and responsive, the check in was a breeze and the pool, house and barn provided endless entertainment with plenty of room to roam and not be in each others ears!
We can’t wait for another visit!

What an amazing property! The host was very responsive and proactive prior to our arrival. We had an amazing time at this beautiful home. So much character and history on the property. Our group made some lifelong memories together on this property and we hope to have another opportunity to stay in the future!

Firstly the host George was amazing. Not just regarding his property but also with advice of area things to do as well as local bakery and butcher recommendations. He communicated quickly on every request we had and made our stay ‘fun’. When you connect with George you’ll know what I mean. We had our whole family w/our children and grandchildren with us, with plenty of comfortable room for all. Also, there was something for everyone to do, from games in the barn, pool, hot tub and much more. We could all be together or spread out. Had family photos taken by Frank Myrland Photography from Orangeville who commented that property was amazing for family photos, from the house to the barn and around other areas.

Great place for a quiet, quaint getaway. We went with 2 other families for new years, and had a great time. Lots of room for all of us; the property and barn all super well maintained, house is clean and updated beautifully!
Would definitely recommend. Correspondence with George was easy and he was quick to respond to any questions.

Thank you George for sharing your historic country home with us for the weekend. We had a great time despite the chilly and rainy weather, as both the house and barn were nicely fitted for entertaining the whole family! We loved the intimate touches, and the space was more than comfortable to sleep our large group. The pool and hot tub were great, and in general, the grounds and outdoor spaces were very well kept. Lots to see and do, while being in the peace of the farmland. Highly recommend for a family trip with kiddos!

I booked the farmhouse for a women's wellness retreat and everything was great! The pictures were completely accurate and we had so much fun exploring all the nooks of the house, barn and property. It was serene, peaceful and perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was was stocked with all the utensils, high quality cookware, plates and glassware for a large group. Apparently at this time of year cluster flies can be a problem in the barn with the change in temperature but the property manager came and handled it quickly. Truly looking forward to bringing another group back!

Our group had a wonderful stay at George’s property! The farmhouse is beautiful, clean and so nicely decorated. George was very accommodating and answered my questions promptly. He also provided a lovely little welcome package for us that we discovered when we arrived. Such a nice touch! We loved the pool and hot tub and the activities in the barn were perfect for at night. We would definitely return!

George understands families and what is needed for an enjoyable and memorable experience for children of all ages. I have never encountered a host more committed to his guests and to sharing his love of the land and of the surrounding community. He did everything conceivable to make our stay a success.

George’s property is perfect for a family holiday. Although an older farm home, it’s been renovated beautifully while still keeping its vintage charm. We loved sitting out in the screened in porch and swimming in the beauty pool. It’s also expertly stocked. Would highly recommend!

Sixteen of us stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our Dad’s 75th birthday. The Farmhouse is so unique and maintains its old character while being very modernized for an enjoyable stay. There was plenty of space for all of us and so much to do between the games in the barn, the pool, the hot tub and the grounds. Communication with the host was excellent and he went the extra mile to make our stay special. Very easy to get to and a short trip away from the GTA. We all had an amazing time!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday. The pool is amazing. The barn is an exceptional extra space with plenty of play space for rain or shine. Kitchen is well stocked - two dishwashers! Plenty of seating to dine all together in the formal dining room and lots of other spaces for games, crafts, reading, snoozing etc. Loved all the extra touches - quality linens, great stove, large grill, plenty of towels etc. Nothing was amiss. We will recommend to family and friends and hope to return for her 85th. Thank you to George for his prompt response and well kept home.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at "The Farm", there were 8 of us 6 adults and 2 kids, everyone enjoyed the space, the pool was refreshing, the barn/games were a fun activity and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, and it was all easy to find. Great place for a larger group. Thank you for allowing us into your home.

Pictures do not do this place justice, if you are looking for peaceful relaxation this is top of the list. Even the drive in gives old world feel. You can step back from the hustle of life and breathe clean fresh air. The grounds are spectacular from the barn to the oversized pool there is space for everyone. It is a perfect marriage between old farm and modern amenities. Beautiful, well worth the price.

Such an amazing place to stay. Quiet, clean, and serene! We had a blast here, an absolute perfect location to unwind. From the pool to the hot tub. From the sunroom to the screened in porch, to visiting the barn to play some hoops, it was amazing. George checked in to make sure we doing well and gave some tips on where to go in town! Super helpful and very kind.
If you're looking for a place to get away from people and just relax, I couldn't recommend a better location! The house is huge and can hold a lot of people, or just go with the family to "decompress" from the world for a few days. It was great overall, and I'd love to do it again in the future!

The farm is wonderful, exactly what is pictured in the listing. There was 12 of us and the place was perfect. The barn was great for hanging out and playing games! Enjoyed the hot tub and the loungers for relaxing by the pool. Wifi worked great! And the kitchen had everything you would need. We will be returning!

Wow this Historic Farmhouse had so much to offer. It was charming, quaint and just an absolute delight. During raining days, we made use of the Barn house which offered all types of games and fun such as ping pong, basketball, darts and many other games. The pool was beyond beautiful and what a great size. The Farmhouse was so charming and gives a full cottage feel. My only comment is Hot water runs out by the afternoon, and there was only 2 showers. The bathrooms were super tiny. The sunroom needs a bit of updating with the screen door (some wires of the screen were loose) and the lights weren't working in the sunroom. It needed more light at night time. Otherwise, everything else was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing experience!! Stunning property, incredibly comfortable beds, excellent Kitchen emenities, excellent communication with the owners....absolutely worth every penny. This was the perfect place to escape, philosophize, work, and have fun. We all felt spectacular and productive by the end of the weekend. Thank you so much!

Two families with kids stayed at this property and had the most fantastic time. There are plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and activities for all to enjoy. And the barn…!

The farm house was spectacular! We stayed (group of ladies) for the weekend. Lots of beds, hot tub, wifi in the barn (where we did a group workout), big dinning room table.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The property offers a wide range of things to do, but honestly the pool and backyard is so perfect its hard to imagine doing anything else. The kitchen was perfect for our group to cook every type of meal. We had lots of fun around the dinner table while a friend scored the occasion on the piano.
I cannot recommend this property enough. The owner was a joy to communicate with. and the privacy and spacious nature offers a special kind of experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this farm. We were supposed to have a big family group, but Covid made it just me and my spouse. It was wonderful. Beautiful property, well maintained, right in the heart of Grey/Bruce highland farm country. We enjoyed the pool, the fire pit, walking around the property, etc. Great access to Kolopore and Three Stage for mountain biking, and tons of neat restaurants and shops within 15-30 mins just about any direction.

We had a wonderful family vacation at George’s farm. The house was clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. Lots for the little ones to enjoy - pool, hot tub, barn. We made many side trips to neighbouring towns in the area - Creemore, Thornberry (great bakery) Eugenia Falls. George was a terrific host. Very accommodating. He even unexpectantly showed up at my front door with the pillow my husband had left behind!

Beautiful and absolutely gorgeous property and beautiful farm house. George is incredible and so great to communicate with! He is a dream and land is magical. The check in process was very hard with late check in at 5pm and no wiggle room and an early check out at 10am rushed. While checking out at 9am the lawn mowers showed up which made checking out loud and difficult. I suggest blocking off a day between stays to clean. The late check in is the clean the land but the barn was so dusty and the tables hadn’t been wiped down outside so not sure what happened there. Other than this, it was a magical place.

We were a group of 12 that recently stayed at George’s historic farmhouse and had a wonderful time. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived and we really appreciated the thoughtful local gifts left for us to enjoy. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids as was the super cool barn. The property and surroundings were very peaceful. This place was a gem!

George’s farm was a great family retreat for our group of 12 adults and kids. The property is spectacular, with endless activities for kids and adults alike. The house is spacious with plenty of room to eat and lounge as a large group. George was an excellent host and incredibly responsive when the fridge unexpectedly stopped working.

George's Farmhouse in the Grey Highlands is a truly beautiful property, rustic charm, tranquil vistas, various spaces to hang with friends, or seek a moment alone. Highly recommend a stay here, especially if you are a large group. George is a welcoming host, and makes you feel as if it is your own home. It was my second stay here, and I look forward to a third and more!
