Beautiful, peaceful & comfortable property. Karen is a delightful host and was able to assist us with any queries. The welcome from Jess (Bordoodle) was a bonus. We had a sailing regatta at Bayview and loved that we were an easy 15min away from the beach. The Barn House is very well set up with comfortable beds, well equiped cooking and laundry. BBQ was available if we needed it. Location is close to cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. The garden is lovely to wander is plus there are lots of lovely walking areas nearby.

I had a lovely 3 days at The Barn, Karen the host is very welcoming and I was very impressed with all the effort Karen went to to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The garden is beautiful, it’s very peaceful and fully fenced so I felt it was safe for my two frenchies, they could just wander around. Easy come and go access through electric gates offering easy onsite parking right in front of The Barn. I would highly recommend The Barn it’s a lovely place to stay.

An ideal place to stay when we drove down from the country to visit our daughter and her two little girls. The mini tennis court, (rackets and balls provide) and grounds were ideal for the girls to play when visiting us. Karen provided a lot of extras, particularly in the kitchen and a welcome bottle of wine, fruit and biscuits. A washing machine, and soap were also provided. Linen was first class. Check in was four stars as we had difficulty opening the lock box (perhaps user error) however help was quickly provided. The use of the veg garden was a bonus. Wonderful friendly host and of course, Jesse the gorgeous dog. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Barn House. Our host was very welcoming and provided us with little surprises of wine, Easter eggs and fresh fruit. A very secure and quiet property with lovely manicured gardens for our dog to explore. We loved the adjacent half tennis court for our family hit and giggle session, for which our host provided racquets and balls. Local maps and recommendations of dog friendly parks and restaurants were also provided which was fabulous when you are not familiar with the area.

We had a very enjoyable stay with the bonus of being able to bring our miniature schnauzer with us. The property was clean with everything we needed for our stay and the location was quiet and peaceful with the advantage of only being a short drive to shops and services. It was lovely for our dog to be able to run around in a beautiful secure garden. Thank you Karen and Jesse for making our stay so easy, next time we will have to stay longer!!

Immaculate stand-alone accommodation in a beautiful setting with a lovely host. What more could you ask for? You can pick veggies from the garden. Plus, there’s a tennis court and BBQ available for use. I can’t recommend the Barn House more highly.

We have just stayed two weeks at this wonderful accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood . It was absolutely perfect as our dogs had just come out of quarantine, and they had the space to run around as the property is gated . Karen the owner is so lovely and friendly , leaving treats for us and treats for the dogs too . The peace and quiet was so nice , and the keoride bus can pick you up outside and drop you in mona vale/ warriewood for about $4. So nice to have a pet friendly stay and would totally recommend this lovely place .

The property was very clean and comfy. The poodle had a good time in the extensive well kept garden. A pleasure to stay there.

We only stayed for 1 night over the Easter weekend however the property has everything you need for a longer stay. The property was extremely clean and had lovely touches such as beer, wine and Karen had even bought us Easter eggs and treats for our pup. There isn’t anything I can fault with the property and Karen is a great help with advise on places to visit etc. Thank you so much we’ll definitely visit again!

Karen’s barn was absolutely perfect for my partner and I and our two dogs. The yard is secure and the dogs loved sniffing around. The barn houseware immaculately clean and contained everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.

My partner and I absolutely loved staying at Karen’s! Karen and her gorgeous pup Jesse were so welcoming, easily accessible but we also had total privacy. The property was very clean, and super cozy. We had everything we needed and more, and the little touches made a huge difference (cold beer and fruit, yum!). Karen made sure our puppy was at home too, with bowls, towels, and a bag of treats. Karen even followed up when I had to go to the hospital, checking on me regularly. We will absolutely be back - Thanks Karen and Jesse, for a lovely getaway!

We really enjoyed our 5 nights at The Barn House. It was lovely sitting outside in the gorgeous park like garden or letting the sea breeze flow through the house. Our dog Ollie loved the garden which was amazingly secure for a small dog. We also enjoyed the half tennis court and playing cricket on the lawn. The location is very convenient to friendly village at Elanora Heights as well as quick trip to cafes at Narrabeen, dog beach at Bayview and Newport Arms. We also had no issues working from home with great wifi. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in the northern beaches.

Very private and secluded location, tennis court available if you want it, secure and safe location with lovely big yard for dogs to run around. Check in was effortless, everything you could need was supplied, and Karen was very hospitable. Thank you very much for the wine and peaceful family getaway.

The Barn was perfect for our needs, close to shops and all amenities but is far enough away for a quiet restful stay . Karen our host met us on arrival and could not be more helpful and had wine, beer and fruit for us on arrival. Alby our fur baby enjoyed playing with Jesse in the fully enclosed yard, the accomodation was very clean and we loved staying there and look forward to catching up with Karen and Jesse again some time soon. Alby especially loved Jesses birthday party. Loved our picnic on the way home thank you Karen.

Fantastic accommodation in a central location with easy access to the northern beaches and surrounds. We enjoyed our stay very much and the hospitality and friendliness of our host Karen is five star! We hope to return another time in future. Our pooch also loved the garden and space to run around including yummy treats and socializing with Karen’s fur baby!

We had a lovely stay. Karen went out of her way to make us welcome including buying in groceries for us ready for when we arrived. The accommodation was perfect for our needs with spacious bedrooms and kitchen area and a fab coffee maker! We even tried out the tennis court. You do need a car, but there are shops very close and the beaches aren’t far either. We actually drove into Manly and caught the ferry into the city. There is a larger shopping mall at Warringah or one closer at Warriewood. Karen has loads of information about the area and how to get around. All in all it’s a great place to stay outside the city and we would be happy to visit again!

the enclosed yard was great for my dog Cooper. Host Karen is kind and welcoming when we arrive at the Barn house. We love staying there and enjoying welcoming wine and fruits. It is the most comfortable to stay with the pets. we will come back again!!

Excellent accommodation which perfectly suited us. The accommodation was very clean and stylish with everything we needed. Karen was a great host, very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay relaxing and playing some tennis. Karen has a large enclosed yard which was perfect for our 2 very large dogs to run around safely. The Barn House is in a quiet street in leafy, rural Sydney yet just minutes away from Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Situated at the end of a drive through a beautiful garden, it is secure, peaceful & picturesque. It is nicely decorated & contains everything one could wish for in a holiday home with plenty of indoor & outdoor space. Fresh, tasty leafy greens were available for our consumption just a few steps from the front door. It is a wonderful home from home & sitting in the pretty courtyard sipping our kindly supplied beers we really felt that ‘we’ve arrived’! Our puppy was made very welcome with bowls, towels, yummy treats & even a doggie friend waiting for him. He had a huge area to safely explore. Our wonderful hostess Karen couldn’t have been more helpful right from my very first enquiry. Throughout the weekend she ensured that we had a marvellous stay - always mindful of any way she could improve our holiday. Humans & canine were thoroughly spoiled & we would love to visit again. Our only problem with this review....we’ve run out of stars, we need more!

My family (including 2 fur babies) and I had a lovely stay at Karen’s shed which is in the amazing garden of her property. The whole garden was very secure and the dogs could run around the grounds without us being worries that they could get out. We realised that we accidentally left something after we got home and Karen posted it to us the next day. Thanks so much for the stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a quiet weekend away with our two border collies. The accommodation is terrific. Modern, clean, styled beautifully and has everything that you could need. As a host, Karen has thought of everything! She had some lovely little Easter chocolates, beer and wine waiting for us that was included as part of our stay. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was a good size (my husband is 6'3") with great pressure and lots of hot water. She was full of suggestions on good places to go both on our own and with the dogs, over the weekend. When we did pop out for dinner Karen came and let our dogs in and out of the cottage while we were out for some play time with her beautiful pup, Jessie. If you're looking for a really lovely place to stay on the northern beaches, that is close to nearly everything, will welcome your pup(s) and has a fabulous host, then this is the place for you.

Karen was very welcoming to us on our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was clean and tidy and very tranquil. You could have been in the countryside but still only 8 minutes to the major shopping hub of Mona Vale and Warriewood and about the same time to the beach. We had an enjoyable month there and it was a perfect spot while we waited for our home to be completed. I would highly recommend it for a lazy weekend or for an extended stay. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Barn. Truly a home away from home for our family of 3 and the 3 small fur babies too. We had a lovely stay. enhanced by Karen's wonderful kindness & hospitality to both us and our 2 small dogs. The Barn House is charming and comfortable (there was even a bottle of bubbly and some doggy treats for the fur-kids waiting for us) and Karen provided a wealth of information to help us fully enjoy it and its surrounds. The property's location is superb with all the Northern Beaches within a short car ride and an even shorter car ride to the Ku-ring-gai National Park. There is a small shopping centre including a coffee shop in close proximity and many parks and dog friendly places nearby. The Barn House itself includes a tennis court (rackets were thoughtfully supplied) and some lovely gardens graced by venerable gum trees. It is a very secure place to stay with pets as its large area is fully fenced and the entrance is protected with automatic gates. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful, refreshing stay at The Barn. Ideal location to explore the northern beaches. Lovely property to let my corgi run free and she also got to meet Karen’s lovely dog, Jesse. My corgi felt like a VIP guest with a bowl, towel and treat to welcome her! Karen was a superhost, she gave us recommendations for dog friendly spots in the area. She was very friendly and generous. It was like a home away from home and we could not have been more comfortable with the accommodation. I would highly recommend this place and we cannot wait to go back when we are exploring the northern beaches again. Thank you again Karen and Jesse!
