Great location, easy communication & check-in, comfy bed. We loved gathering around the big captain's table for family meals!

Great gathering space with a large table for different activities, convenient kitchen and nice pockets of privacy for multi-generational family. It was great to walk around town directly from our cabin too!

Larger than it looked!! Beautiful history incorporated throughout the property. History meets modern with the full kitchen, lighting, TV(we didn't need lol), and sauna available. Large dinning area for group meals, games and gathering.
Hosts are amazing.
Our group walked from property to the beach and down town.

The Fisherman’s Cabin was perfect for our family trip. We rented the sauna for our stay and used it every night. Todd and Susan were excellent hosts and very responsive with any messages or questions. 10/10 recommend this property.

This home is a cozy cabin right across the street from Lake Superior and the North House Folk School. The location is perfect for anyone taking classes at the Folk School or anyone wanting to shop in Grand Marais or hike on the North Shore! We had a great long weekend!

This property combines the quaintness of a rural cabin with the convenience of being in town! The interior was immaculate with all of the necessities for a great three day stay. A coffee shop and numerous restaurants were within 5 -10 minutes walking distance. We look forward to staying there again!

Right in Grand Marais and a short walk to the main stretch of restaurants. Perfect for three couples. We stayed here for a ski weekend at Lutsen Mountains and were very happy with this VRBO and its location. It's a very cozy place and was the perfect choice for us.

This place is low-key charming, a great spot to roost in Grand Marais. New bedroom at back of house has no sound insulation and a separate rental unit directly above, so bring your earplugs.

Our family (mom, dad, 15-year old) stayed at the Fisherman's Cabin over Labor Day with our two pups. We loved it. It is in the perfect location, just minutes from all that Grand Marais has to offer. It was cozy yet big enough for us all, and we were able to bring our furry friends along. We'd love to come back.

We had an amazing weekend at Grand Marais staying at the Fisherman’s Cabin. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to all the major sites in Grand Marais. The cabin was so cozy and cute and was perfectly clean when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

This was a lovely modernized it was a rustic feel place that was perfect for hosting various family members for my twin brother and my 70th birthdays. We were close to town and very close to the beach. The hosts were delightful. The kitchen was modernized and the huge oak table in the great room allowed us to serve 6 to 8 people easily and then clean up and play games! We loved it! Thank you to Todd snd Susan for hosting our stay!!

We are two young families that wanted a spot walkable to all that Grand Marais offers, including shops, restaurants and the lake. This home was spot on. It fit our group perfectly and was well appointed for cooking.

Nice getaway location
Property was very clean and well organized. Had many amenities (full oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc) that we were not expecting. Great space for our larger family of 6. Perfect location, walkable to downtown restaurants/stores. Definitely would try to reserve again in the future!

Cannot beat the location
My husband and I stayed at the Fishermen’s Cabin with my mother and father-in-law and our two dogs and we had a great time! You cannot beat the location, everything in Grand Marais is within walking distance, and you can see the lake from the living room windows. The hosts gave great recommendations on local hikes and spots to see. The place was very clean. We had a blast!

The Fisherman’s Cabin is a great location. We loved the cozy living room and the big dining room table- big enough to put a puzzle together on one end and eat on the other. Hope to be back.

Great Little Place
Everything was perfect and cozy. Cabin is well equipped. My only critique would be the beds were way too firm for our side sleepers, but overall still good. :) Thank you!

Excellent play to stay on the North Shore
We loved our stay at the Fisherman's house. It was very clean and has a lot of "up north" charm. It was nice to be right in town, close to restaurants and shops, but also close to lots of hiking and the outdoors. I would certainly recommend this place and hope to be back in the future.

Spacious and comfortable
The North Shore Fisherman's Cabin provides a wonderful blending of history and modern convenience. The living, dining and bedroom areas were great for our party of 3 and our Miniature Schnauzer. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the utensils, pot/pans and dishes needed for meal preparation. Close proximity to restaurants and shopping enabled us to walk everywhere. The hosts were excellent about communicating details regarding road construction and other tips about the area. Overall we had a wonderful time at this property and would definitely recommend it!

Always great to stay here
This is our spot to stay when we visit Grand Marais every year. Walking distance to every restaurant, great house that fits everyone nicely. Well stocked cabinets. Owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area.

Lots of character
We loved the character of this property and being so close to everything. I'm sure the construction along the shore will be wonderful once it's all done. We were able to get away from the construction noise by moving around town and going hiking throughout the days. It was a wonderful trip.. and this cabin was perfect for the 8 of us.. including our beloved dog!

Wonderful cabin and great location
Highly recommend this cabin! The cabin is incredible cute, lots of space, well supplied snd exceptionally clean. The location was perfect for walking into town or taking the pups on a walk. Close to Lutsen ski resort. Owners are great and very helpful.

We stayed at Fisherman's cabin for a family ski weekend up the shore. Location was great, and cabin was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Hosts were very helpful and communicative. Will return here!

Cozy cabin, great location
We stayed at this property in Nov, 2020 and absolutely loved it. It’s laid back and comfortable with comfy beds and a fully stocked kitchen. The owners are friendly, helpful, and full of tips to really enjoy your experience on this part of the North Shore. We love Grand Marais even more now than we did before, and we will totally stay here again!
