This is a beautiful villa located in the village of Proastio near Kardamyli. It’s a great comfortable base for exploring the Mani region but you need a car. A car is a MUST. It can be a little tricky to get to but once you’re used to it it’s no problem . The swimming pool was a great amenity that my 2 teenagers enjoyed. Wrap around balcony and covered deck to enjoy an outdoor dinner. Breathtaking views of the sea and the mountains. The sunsets are amazing. I booked this place for a week and I wish I would have booked it for 2 ! Villa is located within a short driving distance of 10-15 minutes from local supermarkets and great beaches and taverns and restos. Beaches like Kalogria, Foneas, Ritsa. You can explore further away beaches like Oitylo, as well. Depends on you. Mani isn’t like your typical 5 star resort. It’s rugged, rocky , with uphills and downhills and it’s not for everyone! Do your research! The villa came equipped with everything you might need for cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner. The A/C wasn’t super cold , but ok. At night it gets breezy so by opening windows with screens we were able to enjoy cool breezes at night allowing us to enjoy great sleep. The host Apostolos was a text message away to answer any questions we might have when we checked in. He is very polite and accommodating. He was flexible with the checkout process as well! Thank you Apostole! He also sent his pool maintenance technician mid week to check on the pool and fine tune it. Overall it was an excellent stay and I would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful place ! Our host is so nice and welcoming. The house is clean, well located and with a nice pool. Beaches are just near by. We strongly recommend !

We loved this beautiful place. It was just perfect. Communication was easy as well as self check in. The house was so clean and cool. The pool was wonderful. We loved the surrounding village, friendly neighbours and all the animals around us. There were so many lovely spaces to sit and relax. The property felt so spacious - inside and out with beautiful views! The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were so comfortable. The beaches and local restaurants a short drive down the hill. We did not want to leave. Thank you! We hope to come again.

- nice pool with loungers; - lots of space; - nice view; - bedrooms in basement are cool with good airco but upstairs bedroom has many windows so gets warm in daytime and has old airco that does not function very well; - basic kitchen utensils, dining room lighting that is better for a dentist than illumination of a dinner, but going out for dinner means driving back 10 min up the hill and through really narrow rural pathways. There is no store or restaurant in the village Proastio. - when we would come to the region again, we would not rent the same villa again.

Beautiful villa with everything you need, we had a wonderful stay, car is essential if wanting to visit other parts of the coast. Perfect.

Large spacious house in the Greek style! It is located in the small village of Proastio. This is a real Greek village: goats, sheep, roosters, horses. The kids really enjoyed it. Beach in 5-10 minutes. drive. There are few people on the beach, beautiful bays. Supermarket in 10 minutes. drive where you can buy all the products. Nearby there is the city of Kardamyli, with restaurants, shops where you can walk. A very friendly host with his family. We advise everyone!
