This house and location is amazing. Right on the water at Westcott Bay, a 15 min walk to Roche Harbor. The house is perfect. Comfy king size beds with attached bathrooms. Spacious, well equipped open concept kitchen and living space. I really can't say enough about this lovely accommodation.

This place is one of the best equipped vacation rental that any of us has experienced. Wonderful view and wonderful location. My 6 year old grandson was totally entertained with all of the amenities. My 93 year old mother was able to get around on the first floor and totally enjoyed the view off the deck or the view of the fireplace. We would all highly recommend this place and will be looking for a time when we can all get together there again in the future.

The 6 of us had a wonderful time! We all agree we would come back in the future. 3 king size bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. 1 bedroom with a queen bed. The picnic Island and wildlife was exceptional. We loved all there was to do on San Juan Island. Great walks and hikes, Whale watching, British and American Camp, Friday Harbor and Rouche Harbor, great restaurants too. We loved Duck Soup. We also loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen. Amazing, beautiful home!

We had a great time at Heron House. It was such a comfortable place to stay. Dave was easy to communicate with and was so helpful. The beach views were lovely, and the space was so big and easy to relax in. Super comfy bedrooms! Great shower! Internet went out but the views occupied us better than tv would have haha. My family had a great time and we’d love to come back again.

Our 2 adult children, their spouses and 2 rescue doggies stayed comfortably in this wonderful home. The home is right on the water, has gorgeous views, is a pleasant walk to Roche Harbor and was well furnished. Our thanks to the owners for sharing their home.

This house was absolutely perfect for us! Great location, great beds/bathrooms/bedrooms, lots of room and access to toys (kayaks, buckets, fishing pools, clam digging tools, etc.). The kids had a blast, and the adults enjoyed the large beds with ensuite bathrooms in every room. We are definitely going back....

We had a busy but relaxing getaway. Home was well eqipped and great variety of things to do. We enjoyed seeing wild animals from deck as well as whale watching at Lime Kiln Pt. Within walking distance was the Sculpture Garden which was my personal favorite. Overall we had a wonderful experience for our first time visiting San Juan.

Absolutely love Heron House. Second time we stayed and absolutely feel at peace here. The location is perfect. Walked to so many places this time around, Roche Harbor, sculpture garden, Westcott Bay, magical hikes. Perfect stay. Thank you Dave and Sue.

What a beautiful house! This home is amazing - it’s huge yet has a very cozy feeling. It has an awesome view of the water, plus a tiny island you can walk to when the tide is out. It’s super close to Roche Harbor, which has restaurants, a market, and several water/boat activities. It’s even just a 15 minute drive to Friday Harbor! It was just the two of us, plus our pup. We could have brought our families with us and still had room! The kitchen is awesome and fully stocked with everything you need. It’s hard to find a house that accepts pets - this one even had doggie towels for their feet and a drawer full of supplies! Our host, Sue, was great! She was always quick to respond and eager to assist us. We loved our stay so much, we’re returning in the fall! Don’t hesitate to book this home for your next trip to San Juan Island!

We spent two weeks at this beautiful house. It is as nice as the pictures look and maybe even more comfortable. The beds are great and the location couldn’t be better, even with the cool, rainy weather we had the first week. The convenient dog park and the sculpture garden made it easy to keep our pup happy, as well as the extensive trails all around the area…and the island. Every morning we delighted in seeing how the water changed & which ducks were visiting, as well as other mammals most mornings, including deer out on the island for perfect silhouette pictures in the sunrise. I think it is a wonderful place for anyone, wether friends or families with children, and we would go back in a heartbeat if we get the chance. Well done Dave & Sue!

The house was beautiful, well-appointed with everything we could need, sparkling clean and very comfortable. The little island was a great treasure for our kids. Great location- couldn’t ask for anything more!!

A Five Star Rating doesn’t do this place justice. When you walk through the front door it smells clean. The house is stunning. Communication with the hosts is amazing. If you’re thinking about a VRBO on San Juan just stay here and quit looking. I know we won’t stay anywhere else again! I can’t imagine spending our 20th Anniversary in a more beautiful setting!

We spent our spring break on San Juan Island - it was absolutely beautiful! We were worried it would rain the whole time, but we had sunshine every day. Unfortunately most rental and excursion places were still closed for the winter, but the owners of this property had so many options already available for us. We all had a great time kayaking in the bay behind the house and hiking around Lime Kiln state park and San Juan Park. We played games, read books, and watched movies. It was a lovely stay. The beds were comfortable and the view was amazing. Thank you!

We really had a fantastic stay! All seven of us had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The views were wonderful! We would definitely rent the house again.

We throughly enjoyed this property!

We spent four days with our family and two dogs and were very impressed with the overall space. Each bedroom has very comfortable beds, three of which are kings. The kitchen is very well stocked with a full range of spices and cookware. We were most impressed the dining room table was set for all eight of us when we arrived! We will definitely return!

We loved our short escape to this beautiful home in Roche Harbor. Mornings on the deck watching the wildlife is enough to want to return. Tons of birds to watch, and a sneaky little fox that was my favorite. Peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to town if you wanted dinner etc. We hope to return!

It was perfect for our group. Great modern and clean facility, Great beds and plenty of bathrooms, showers and sinks. Kitchen was stock with plenty of plates and cooking items. Will likely rent it again next year.

Such a beautiful home on a great waterfront property. We loved being able to use the kayaks, boots and life jackets! Great decks for enjoying the view and we loved staying here. It just wasn’t long enough!
