Eleanora was the best host. Her info books on the area were invaluable. All her recommendations were spot on! The only suggestion I have is to have more chairs in the living room. A great experience!

We loved casa hibiscus. It was the perfect place to come home to and absolutely felt like home. The plants surrounding the property were beautiful! Elanora and David were great hosts too. Elanora also helped me so much to relax with just her energy. I would 150% stay here again.

This home is truly lovely! Not only does it have everything you may need to make your time in Tulum easy and comfortable, the roof top pool/hang out area is such a treat. Our kids LOVED swimming in it, especially under the stars and a full moon. My mom stayed here with our kids while my husband and I explored the area and she felt extremely safe. The house is in a great location as well, very easy to get to and from. The owners are just as lovely as the home they have built. My husband and I also rented a place on the beach for a few nights while my mom and kids stayed here, we would choose to rent this house again over being near the beach. It was just so comfortable, with tons of space and a very pleasant feeling. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had a great experience staying here and absolutely recommend it to anyone coming to Tulum. The house has strong AC, is located in a gated community that has security guards managing traffic in and out of the community at all hours - so we felt safe the entire time. Finding the house was a little tough initially as it's not listed on Google/Apple Maps, but David and Eleonora are very responsive and helpful. When you are taking taxi's back to the house, just tell them "Riviera Tulum" and they'll know exactly where to take you. The only negative to the house is that walking into town is not ideal, especially at night, so it's best to take taxis anywhere from the house. However, the taxi service is easy to navigate as you just text a WhatsApp number where you are and where you want to go, and they come pick you up. Also the pool is perfectly clean and the rooftop terrace is nice to relax on. You cannot go wrong staying here

My husband and I recently stayed at David and Eleanora's place on our vacation to Tulum. First, we stayed a few days at a place on the beach and then moved into town to get a more authentic feel for Tulum. On moving day my phone wasn't working, I wasn't able to download the map to their place, so David kindly met us out in town and escorted us to our place. He and Eleanora were very easy to contact and ask questions both before and during our stay. The house was lovely and super clean. It's located in a gated community with other similar properties which made it feel very safe. Overall, we felt safe everywhere we went in Tulum. The master bedroom has a king bed, on suite bathroom, AC unit (we only used at night occasionally) and plenty of clothing storage. The second bedroom we didn't use but it would have been great for our kids. It also had its own bathroom, two full size beds and plenty of storage. There are ceiling fans if you don't want to use the AC just to keep air circulating. The kitchen and living space were lovely and well stocked. There's a half bath off this space and a laundry room as well. My husband and I ate out in town mostly because we were on the go exploring each day and didn't spend tons of time at their place. Food in town is so much more reasonable than at the beach and SO delicious, it would have been a shame to eat in. We bought just enough groceries to make breakfast, snacks and cocktails back at the house. The rooftop pool area was amazing and perfect for lounging around with a cerveza or margarita. We will definitely recommend their house to friends and family and hope to visit it again soon! Thank you again David and Eleanora!!

The home is super nice and accommodating. My kiddos love the owners kitty! We cooked in several meals and made lots of snacks to take with us on our adventures. I always travel with a soft sided ice chest and make frozen water bottles for ice packs! The stovetop was nice to use but no microwave or oven. Having the washing machine was great and line dried clothes as needed up on the roof top as there is no dryer. The hosts stayed in touch with us over the week and were extremely helpful and accommodating! We left the teenagers one day as we had worn them out, and I felt very safe and secure leaving them alone in the house. The community seems to watch out for each other and the neighbors we talked to were super friendly. We hope to return again in the near future

We had a FANTASTIC time at Casa Hibiscus! David and Eleonora were excellent hosts who were very accommodating, kind, and communicative. We would definitely recommend staying at Casa Hibiscus and hope to possibly return in the future.
