The condo was better than in the pictures; super clean, well appointed comfy furniture, and absolutely the best location. The perfect spot for a family vacation.We spent hours on the two decks - amazing views of the waterfront. So relaxing. And so central to downtown - we could walk everywhere. Great shops, restaurants and more within just a couple of blocks.The condo was light, bright and had spectacular views. The best were super comfy, the bathrooms spacious, and the W/D allowed us to pack light for any weather. The building is super secure and safe.We arrived on an early ferry, and were just setting up to spend a couple of hours walking around before check-in - and got a wonderful text that the condo was ready for early check-in!Amazing place - we would definitely recommend it for a visit to Friday Harbor!

The apartment was in a great location. Rental was spotless when we arrived. As noted in other reviews, Some of the kitchen equipment needs to be upgraded. The faucet lever fell off and the coffee pot was missing a top and was unusable. For the price and fees it would have been nice if we could have either checked in earlier or checked out later. The additional fees and tone in the letter for failing to abide by the check in / check out fees seemed excessive.

This was an amazing property. We had three nights and the location was perfect in town location. Easy to restaurants and shops. Also the tour around the island in the Jolly Trolley was a lot of fun. I would stay here again when traveling to the Friday Harbor.

We use VRBO because we like the comfort of home. That means a fully stocked kitchen that allows us to cook. The coffee pot was missing a pour spout, the knives were dull. The pots and pans were a mess, overused and highly abused. There was not even a bowl to make a salad in. There were no dish towels to dry dishes. I could not have made a complete dinner here to save my life. One balcony was closed off upon arrival unknown to us, the other had very uneven and unsafe flooring that when walked on popped up. The TV was a joke. The pillows horribly hard and the beds very uncomfortable. The towels very small and were damp to the touch.The shower in the main bedroom kept filling up when used and had a gross looking white foam in it. There was not a tissue in the entire place to blow a nose. A few simple conveniences would go a long way to make this place homey. The elevator a pain to use and not Ada compliant with having to turn a key and push the button at the same time some people don't have that dexterity. Shame on you! Overall a big fail and we would not choose this place again. BEWARE if you like comfort

Very pleased with this accommodation. The large open common space with updated appliances with a great view of the harbor is most comfortable, as are the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Attractive color scheme complimented nicely by lots of vertical grain fir trim. Clean, easy access and even had some olive oil and salt and pepper in one of the cabinets! Don't see that often. Wonderful visit and highly suggest as a great place to stay. Also easy walking to and around Friday Harbor.

We really liked staying here, the property was really nice and well kept. It was also close to everything and was really convenient. Also, if you're worried about the noise from the ferry, it didn't really bother us much (we're very sensitive to sounds while sleeping). The only things of note is that the towels could use a refresh (and stop using fabric softener so they can dry better), the second bedroom bed needs to be tightened up as it makes noise, and just be careful with the low ceiling in the parking garage. Other than those things, it was basically a perfect place to stay.

The condo was spotless, had a big kitchen for cooking our catch from the sea, and entry instructions were easy. The deck has an eating bar where you can eat facing Friday Harbor's lovely marina, and watch the ferries come and go. Property Management was kind enough to let us in an hour early! The only downers were that it's expensive at $930 per night (that includes taxes and fees at high season), the kitchen didn't have a quality wine opener or any vegetable peeler, and although the small bedrooms could fit a king size bed (tightly), the beds are queen sized.

The apartment is right above the ferry queuing, which goes on all day starting early and ending late. There are constant cars and vehicles and little privacy and no quiet.
The apartment has minimal “stuff”; no beach towels, very few supplies in the kitchen and almost no essentials for cooking.
This is very inconvenient for people traveling here.
Internet isn’t great.

Great location and stay for our family of 4. Very convenient location to anything you need in town. Right next to ferry loading / unloading so be prepared to heat the announcements when doors or windows are open. Wasn’t disruptive to us as we were gone most of the day but the first time we heard the announcements it caught us off guard but it’s logical considering the location. The covered parking is a huge bonus , especially when it’s raining.

The condo is right on the edge of downtown near the ferry dock and a quick walk to everything. We weren’t bothered by the ferry loading because we had the windows closed but in summer, with the windows open, especially in the front bedroom, it might get annoying. Everything was clean, comfortable and stylish but for us, the lack of or poor quality kitchen items was very disappointing. Good dishes, fridge, microwave, coffee makers, and range but terrible or non existent pots and pans of the cheapest variety. We don’t like to eat every meal from takeout but there wasn’t even a cookie sheet or small roasting pan to cook some chicken in. For us, the lack of decent kitchen basics was a deal breaker for future stays.

This place is cute, spacious and functional. Right in town, super close to ferry, easy place to stay when visiting the island. Everything you need is supplied, bed was comfortable, kitchen is small but well provisioned. Would absolutely stay here again. Property management company was great to work with as well.

Amazingly beautiful, modern property with stellar harbor views and perfect accessibility to town. What stood out though was the property management service that handled our booking. On two occasions (one prescheduled, one unanticipated) a small maintenance crew needed access to the unit. Communication with management was stellar, and they readily compensated us with a very reasonable refund for each occurrence without us needing to even ask. Stellar experience from start to finish, and a wonderful vacation overall.

We had an amazing experience visiting the San Juan islands starting with the arrival at our rental. The condo is easy to locate and within walking distance to everything you need. The beds were comfortable and everything was well stocked for a stay. We had one issue and the management company responded immediately and resolved. I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking. San Juan Brewery and DownRigger were our favorite restaurants. Also Mayas Legacy Whale Watching all day tour was hands down the highlight of our trip!

If you're looking for a clean and nicely decorated space, walking distance to restaurants/shops, comfy beds, and a view...this is the place for you! We would adventure during the day on the rest of the island(s), come home, park, and the car would stay put until the next day. We could easily walk to shops and restaurants, or we'd sit on our deck or balcony - yes, there are two. You may get a bit of traffic/ferry noise in the front bedroom, but it didn't bother us and actually added to the experience. And it truly is across the street from the ferry. So convenient. We would definitely return - highly recommend!

Property was absolutely beautiful. When you walk in you instantly say "wow." Has a fun view of the ferry loading docks and is in the best location. We walked on the ferry and walked straight up to the condo. Shops and grocery were all in walking distance as well. Getting in and out of the building was seamless. My husband and I stayed a weekend here with another couple and the two rooms with two bathrooms provided excellent space. Would definitely look into staying here again if we come back!

We loved SJI and Friday Harbour. It is such a cute town. The property was very conveniently located right by the ferry dock making it easy to get everywhere, however when the ferry was loading early in the morning, it was quite loud. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
