We recently stayed at this fantastic house and it exceeded all our expectations! The location was perfect for us as it was incredibly close to Villa Antonia, where my sister's wedding took place. The house itself had everything we could possibly need, and more! With 8 adults and two kids in our group (ages 11 and 1), we were delighted to find that the space was incredibly spacious, allowing everyone to have their own comfortable areas while still enjoying shared spaces for quality time together. One of the standout features of our stay was the impeccable cleanliness of the house. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel instantly at ease. The host was an absolute delight to communicate with, being incredibly responsive and providing detailed information not only about the house but also about local restaurants and parks. Their recommendations really enhanced our stay and helped us make the most of our time in the area. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we're already planning to stay here again when we come back to Texas. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place.

I booked this property for a mini-family reunion for 9 adults and one baby. Upon arrival, everyone was impressed. Plenty of space, property is beautiful, clean and well-kept. The owners were lovely to work with and answered any questions immediately. They even reached out proactively when a hail storm was about to blow through to allow us access to their garage/protect our cars- a move that is GREATLY appreciated! Our family likes to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. I'd say the place was perfect for our needs and we'll be back with friends one day! Many Thanks!

A small group of old friends gathered here for a reunion and eclipse viewing. It really couldn't have been a better choice. I was expecting to go out, check out the local pub and restaurants, but the house was so nice we never wanted to leave.

Came here for an artists retreat with close friends. To say this property is perfect is an understatement. Ann is easily the best host Ive ever interacted with. Everything we needed was there and questions were answered promptly. The beauty and serenity of the property are unmatched. This is a place we will definitely be coming back to! The home was even better than the pics! Equipped when anything you could possibly need to entertain, nice towels and more than enough for all guests, great beds, fantastic stocked pantry, tons of dishes and serving platters, wonderful pool and outdoor space... All just fantastic! Highly recommend the home and the host Ann was amazing! Fantastic communication, easy to contact and quick to respond with great suggestions to make our stay fantastic. We had a blast!

9 of us stayed here for a bachelor party and had the best time. The place is even better in person. The house and pool/backyard were perfect for what we needed. The house was stocked with all essentials. The surrounding neighborhood has some gems (Luck Rabbit and The Lone Star Bar). We'd highly recommend it.

This property was perfect for our family trip! Beautiful outdoor space that kept the kids busy and allowed parents to relax. You’re close enough to Austin for activities, but far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommend and we will return. We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay. The place was wonderfully cozy and comfortable, exceeding our expectations. Plus, our host, Ann, was incredibly communicative and always eager to help, making our experience even more delightful.

We loved staying in this spacious, hill country home. From the moment we walked into our “Christmas retreat,” we felt comfortable and cared for by Ann. This care included placing some tasteful holiday décor about the main living area, which was certainly appreciated as it added to the festive mood of our family reunion. Although, our 10 family members filled the bedrooms at night, the generous gathering areas (large dining table, huge sectional sofa in living room, and outdoor areas) were amply utilized by the many local family and friends, who dropped by to join in our festivities. With 2 chefs in the family (and quite a few wannabe chefs), we really appreciated the layout of the large kitchen, which allowed for a number of culinary activities to go on simultaneously. The beds were very comfortable with delightfully soft linens. The backyard provided 3 great areas for visiting, with no neighbors to complain about our laughter and music. All three fire options (indoor and outdoor fireplaces and fire ring) were utilized as well as was their large spa, which was deep, warm, and soothing. We did not use the theater room very often, as there was just too much conversing to be done, but the football fans did enjoy watching a game there on Christmas day. Note: Over the past 10 years, we have rented 4 different houses in the Austin area for family gatherings and this was the best house by far. We hope that it will be available the next time we get together in Austin.

We loved our stay there. This home and surroundings was very beautiful and so peaceful. Everything about this property was exceptional! The home was spacious, very well appointed & contained everything we needed. The patio & pool area was gorgeous & so relaxing too! Every member of our family would give this home & owner a 10 if we could!!

We had our family of 12 for a long weekend of celebration. The house was well equipped, very comfy, and plenty to do. Very relaxing and peaceful. Hosts are very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.!

This home is truly one of a kind. First off, it’s a beautiful home, spacious and livable, offering the privacy and space you need. Our family of 11 easily filled up the large 5 bedrooms with accompanying baths which made for a most cozy and comfortable long weekend. Now let’s talk about amenities! This home is filled with them! The most I’ve ever seen in a rental. Ann, the owner, is most gracious, helpful and accommodating. This home is by far the most well equipped, updated, clean, in every way, well maintained…you get my drift. I can’t give enough accolades to this home. Bravo to Ann and associates on a job well done. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the walks along the trails, the quiet times in our rooms, cooking together in your well equipped kitchen, the total ambience…we may be back. 🤗

This house was amazing you really only need to bring clothes because Ann provides so much! The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything you could possibly think of all we needed was food & paper plates and bowls. We do an annual family vacation (20 + yrs) and this is by far one of the best houses we have stayed in, and as some of the kids are now teenagers and college age they enjoyed swimming and the theatre room. The smaller ones enjoyed watching Ms Rachel in the living room downstairs and I've never seen so many people excited about a cancelled boat reservation so that we could just swim at the house instead. We will definitely recommend this house to all our friends. and family and will be back ourselves. You feel like you are at a 5 star resort when you stay at this property! Thank you Ann for providing such a wonderful home and also the great communication and all the information you provided with restaurants and stores.

The place was the perfect house for a getaway! Backyard was incredible with so many activity options! Ann was also incredibly responsive as well as informative about recommendations!

We had a lovely Celebration of Life for my dear nephew. There were 15 family members staying at the house and the day of the event there were about 50 people in the house for a presentation. The house is definitely set up for cooking - every thing you need/want is there. Pool was important in temps over 100 and the air conditioning cooled us off day and night. Thank you Ann!

This house is exactly like the listing describes it! The house owners thought of everything one might need to have an amazing time! Super clean and the backyard is the spotlight!! Amazing pool and hot tub and just minutes away from the lake! The host was always there to answer all the questions we had and helped a lot!

The property is actually nicer than the photos indicate. Our entire family of 10 adults plus 1 four month old were so comfortable at this Deer Canyon ranch, we found the location perfect for attending the wedding venue and food shopping was easy. All the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The supplies of soap, shampoo, laundry supplies and kitchen dishwashing detergents were more than ample. The beautiful resort style swimming pool and fire pit were enjoyed throughly. Ann is a wonderful host and maintains her home with meticulous care and ensures you feel like it’s your own home. It’s so easy to give this property a high rating.

Ann’s home is one of the most beautiful houses I’ve had the pleasure of staying at! The main bathroom was like that at a spa and every bed was extremely comfortable. The pool has this amazing swim up bar and excellent sound system throughout the property. Our group agreed that we got the jackpot booking this property as it really seemed like we had a private resort all to ourselves! We were a multigenerational group of 9 women renting this beautiful home for a Bachelorette Getaway. The home is GORGEOUS, very clean and better than it appears in the photos! The backyard with the pool/hot tub/patio and firepit is an Oasis! We were able to have a private outside yoga class one morning with plenty of room! Beds are super comfy and sheets are clean and soft. The kitchen and dining/living area are spacious and perfect for spending time together. It was warm when we were there so we did not use the fireplaces. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pot and pans, bowls, whatever you need. The refrigerator is large and can hold a great deal of food. Gaining entry to the home was super easy with the codes which were provided. The property is very private, and no need to worry about being noisy or early quiet hours. Anne was communicative and easy to work with and able to provide many recommendations, including the excellent transportation services for our large group to/from the city of Austin, downtown and the airport are about a 45 min drive. There are grocery stores/liquor stores and restaurants nearby, even though the property is very private and a little off the beaten path. We would definitely return and we HIGHLY recommend a stay at this property, especially if you are a large group looking for private place to be together and enjoy all that the area has to offer. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful home!
