The place is quiet, away from tourist, but close enough drive to tourist destinations. The bay was nice with the geese and calm waters. The place was stacked with all the essentials, bikes and toys. The can opener needs to be replaced, or bring your own.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. The view is absolutely spectacular. It was a great stay!!

We were looking for a fun getaway with our 21 and 18 year old kids before the last one leaves for college in the fall, and this was it! The cabin was super cozy, and had everything we needed. It is not very near the upper part of Door County, so we did plenty of driving for that portion, but it was great to come back to a peaceful cabin and watch the sunset. Sturgeon Bay isn't too far and there are plenty of fun things to do there - we got to see the HUGE farmer's market, played games at the Gnome Gnoshery, got candy from the Door County Candy store, went bowling, etc. etc! The communication with Tammy was fabulous and I got the pleasure of meeting her and her mom as we were leaving and heading for home.

My husband, dog and I had a great time relaxing lakefront. The cabin is well appointed and comfortable. You’re close enough to Sturgeon Bay to get coffee or browse the shops but remote enough to have peace and quiet.

The cabin was just enough space for everybody. The fire pit was the highlight for a lot of them.

Location was great and beautiful location on the water. Beds comfy Great ,ammenities, fire pit, bikes,. Should explain the bedrooms are upstairs, bathroom downstairs. Not good if you struggle with stairs. Bathtub was slow to drain.

Love location and lil cottage. Very clean!

This is a fantastic place to stay, and we had a great time!! The house was very clean, and the location is beautiful! Right on the water. The host did I an amazing job decorating for the holidays, and was super to work with. Plenty of inside space to enjoy the amazing views of the water. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fireplace was a very nice added touch. Would definitely stay here again. Tammy is a great host!

For our Christmas, my bestie & I just wanted to read books in a cozy cabin with our pups- Moonlight did not disappoint; it was *Exactly* what we were hoping for. The start of a new tradition for sure.

.more than expected, many extras

My wife and I stayed here recently for 5 nights. Overall it was an amazing place to stay and we would recommend to others. Our favorite part was the location and view. Being a desirable waterfront location, there are a lot of homes packed in, but this place felt more private than we expected. The view across the bay was wonderful, and we spent every evening out by the fire pit enjoying the view and sounds of the water. One thing we feel the need to mention is the pet policy. When searching for rentals for our trip, one reason we initially chose this place was because it listed being pet friendly and we really wanted to be able bring our 12lb minature dachshund with us. It was a few hundred extra to add a pet, but it was worth it to us. We made sure to let the host know before booking just to make sure. So we were a little surprised when we arrived at the cabin and found a sign saying pets are not allowed up stairs in the bedrooms. To anyone who has traveled with a pet, you know how difficult it would be to leave them alone downstairs at night. All in all we had a great stay though and feel the property deserves 5 stars.

We have a very nice girls weekend. We decided to stay in most of the weekend because it was cold. Enjoyed the lake views, watching the wildlife outside the windows. We all enjoyed out weekends away from our children & spouses.

This property was perfect for our family’s recent stay in Door County. It was well appointed with everything our family of 6 needed and then some. The weather didn’t cooperate with us for fires at all but the pier saw a lot of use for fishing and the cabin was perfectly cozy! We loved our stay and would happily return anytime!

Spectacular view and quiet just as advertised. Had everything we needed, including coffee, and more. Comfortable stay. Enjoyed the wildlife and great fire ring outside! If you are tall you will need to duck on the stairs though. Spent time in Sturgeon Bay and all over door county. Perfect time of year to see the fall colors. Can be a little bit of a drive to the northern section of the peninsula but we knew that and were fine with the drive. It was worth the view and privacy!

The cabin was the perfect spot for our family of four to relax before the hectic back to school season. We enjoyed the view of the sunrise and moonrise: gorgeous! We usually stay further north, but this location was very convenient and just a short drive to all that Door County has to offer.

Cool house, a bit small for 5 guys but the outside space was open and fun. Nice location

Great cabin on the lake. Could not ask for a better view. They had everything you would need and may have forgot. 2 coffee pots 1 reg 1 k cup. We had a great time

Moonlight Magic provided a peaceful respite from the daily grind. The cabin is right on the bay, which is perfect for viewing the sunrise and wildlife. Pelicans, herons, geese, and loons frequented the shore. All the necessary comforts were provided and having access to bicycles was nice for local jaunts around the loop. Very close to Sturgeon Bay and other Door County attractions. Host was very helpful and kind. Would stay here again!
