The set up is great for families and close to nearby attractions. Short walk to an excellent pool. But there is no local property manager and the owner hasn't seen the place in 3 years. So, if there are maintenance issues he relies on a local contractor. It might be weeks (in our case) before items (such as ceiling fans and smoke alarms) are addressed. The neighbors are friendly and if you bring your dog he will love it, but be aware that dogs are not allowed on the beach, even leashed, unless you drive to Delmar.

My family and I stayed here and had such a great experience! Sean was the perfect host; always very helpful and attentive. The home was a great fit for our family (2 adults, 2 young kids and 2 cats). The neighborhood felt very safe and friendly. Great location, especially if you enjoy the beach! There is also a beautiful pool area in the neighborhood, that we visited almost everyday with our kids. This is a great spot and I would highly recommend it! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Sean!

Wonderful experience!
My family and I stayed here and had such a great experience! Sean was the perfect host; always very helpful and attentive. The home was a great fit for our family (2 adults, 2 young kids and 2 cats). The neighborhood felt very safe and friendly. Great location, especially if you enjoy the beach! There is also a beautiful pool area in the neighborhood, that we visited almost everyday with our kids. This is a great spot and I would highly recommend it! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Sean!

I was very happy with the home and location of course with covid we were limited as to what we could do but we enjoyed a nice relaxing vacation enjoying the pool and the back patio

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a 6 week stay
Sean, the property manager was easy to reach and responded quickly. We had fun exploring the area and it’s close to the beach and great shopping and restaurants. It even has a dog door.
I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a vacation in the Carlsbad area.

Very well maintained, fully equipped and comfortable. It has all the amenities we needed and is just minutes from the beach.
We have used VRBO on several occasions and Sean is the best landlord by far. Very, very responsive and helpful.

We rented this house for a month while our new home was being finished. We had 2 adults, 2 teenagers and two dogs and there was plenty of space for all of us. The owners made the process very simple and were very accommodating. The house is decorated nicely and completely up to date. The neighborhood is very friendly and felt very safe. We enjoyed all of the amenities as well such as the pool, tennis courts and volleyball court. The beach and shops are all within walking distance. We highly recommend this property.

First class
The ideal rental is to have all the comforts of your own home and this owner delivers in every way.We are retired and travel regularly so have numerous experiences to compare and this one rates on the top of our list. It is exceptionally clean and has all the necessary home amenities. The location is great with a short walk to store conveniences and also about a 10 minute scenic walk to the beach. The location also has convenient access to all the tourist opportunities of the San Diego area. The owners are very accommodating from your initial inquiry and booking and during the duration of your stay.
We would be very excited to return to this location.
