It was nice that there were basics like spices, salt and pepper to cook with. I liked that there was also laundry and dish detergents.: no one wants to buy an entire package to stay for a few days.

Minimal plates, utensils, etc. Very surprised that there was no disposal which was a negative. Elevator was not available for use. The first night there were smokers next door and it drifted to our patio... disturbing.

Some things to fix: Gate at the entrance to the property. Too many people used it for beach access. TV very difficult to use. Had to get maintenance to load access codes and make the TV's work. Just pay for cable. A lot of buffering made watching the TV unbearable We wanted to watch the Olympics and some movies Need more plates Appliances are very beat up Air conditioning only in 1 room Double bed room very small . Bed is against the wall and very hard to get in and out with 2 people in the bed

Property was perfect for our family! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Only thing I would recommend replacing or upgrading would be outdoor patio set and barbecue.

We loved the perfect ocean view and the comfort of the furnishings. When we needed surfboards and wet suits they were delivered within two hours to our door for a nominal fee. Any little need we had was attended to immediately. We felt like royalty! What a wonderful and memorable experience! We will definitely be back!

When we arrived people that were having a party and people were parked in the garage of the unit. Our unit had two entrances and one entrance was open to the public and people from the upstair party had been going in and out of the unit before we got there. Third bedroom was awful! Dirty storage area of broken down washer/dryers and the bed was the most uncomfortable. The refrigerator looked like it had been in a fight with someone and the handle was just screwed on. Ridiculous! Pictures are way better than in person. Not good for a weekend with the family, most of the other units were there to party and did not respect the 10 pm noise rule. Won't be back!

The house was beautiful and spacious, right on the water. There wasn’t any beach below the rocks, but a beach was available about a half mile walk north. The patio was great, with a nice hottub big enough for 3-4 people. One annoyance was that there are different units on each floor and another house right next to you on each side. Eg when sitting in the hottub we could reach out and touch our neighbors. It felt very cramped and if the neighbors were loud it was hard to ignore. Overall really nice house and location, but tightly packed with neighbors.

The beds were comfortable and the furniture is clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The view is amazing! The only negative was the fact that I had booked to take our dog and paid the deposit then decided not to take him. We were not refunded the deposit even though we changed our minds ahead of time. There was no reason not to refund the deposit.

Reviewer Comments: This is my third beach house rental through VRBO, and I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the property compared to the other two. It was a comparable price but much cleaner. It was as described on the site and in the pictures. We saw dolphins and enjoyed walking to the pier and around Oceanside. Also, we took the coaster train from Oceanside to San Diego.

Gorgeous home. Our level was perfect for our family - parents of two teenage girls. All 3 baths are en-suite plus additional half bath. Sofa couch was comfy as 3rd bed. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. The family room couches were comfy except that one needs replacing ASAP. And the dinner table and as well as outside table were perfect places to view the ocean while dining. / playing games. Happy hour In the patio hot tub was a hit and the patio fire “pit” was a nice add to the evenings. You need to be patient with the garage parking situation because this unit has the car on a lift that is stored underground. Requires time to get out and put back, as well as sometimes coordinating with the neighbor if they didn’t pull their car in far enough. But if you don’t plan to use your car a bunch, it’s awesome and safe. The posting for the unit says A/C equipped but there isn’t any AC. Many ceiling fans and portable fans were helpful but still warm in back rooms. Also know that you can’t leave anything of value on the patio. It gets a lot of foot traffic and unfortunately desperate people will do desperate things. Overall beautiful, fun, easy, enjoyable. The Prop Mgmnt team was responsive and kind. And the whole experience felt COVID safe. Would def go back.

Reviewer Comments: We were excited to spend 2 nights at the house with our friends in celebrating my son's birthday. The house was roomy and clean with a nice view. Unfortunately, the b-day BBQ dinner was ruined since the grill was not working and they could not replace it until the next day. Management did send someone out an hour later,but they said they could not do anything until the next morning since they did not have enough man power. We got a new grill the next morning, but it did nothing to help the situation. We had to order pizza instead, and had to throw out $300 worth of prime meat. There was construction noise constantly in the background during most of our Saturday stay. They should have warned us about that prior to our stay. The hot tub was also not heating up properly. Maintenance came in to check on it and said they could do nothing about it. I am disappointed management did not want to offer some kind of reimbursement as a courtesy for the inconveniences; considering I paid over $2000 for one and a half days.

This place was exactly as pictured. We had a very relaxing time and read lots of books and watched movies. There are plenty of places to go hiking in San Diego and we took advantage of that. The sunsets from the home are amazing and we walked to the pier every night. This is a great place for surfing, boogie boarding or tanning. The only surprise was the very lively Strand nighttime action, and the lowrider "parade" during the weekends. There was a never-ending stream of cars on the Strand all day and all night long, especially Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I would definitely stay here over any place on the Strand. Sometimes we walked back home via the upper road because there was just too much traffic below. Other than that, a fun place to relax.

The view from this location is amazing. Everything was geared to take advantage of this lovely setting and watching the sunset from the patio was so very nice. Overall, the rental was very clean, offered comfortable beds, laundry and a very nice kitchen. This is a very nice place to relax .
