Loved the house, the view and the beach which was quiet and super for walking and jogging. I'll just say, I'm 70 and my sisters and cousins have been sharing 5 nights for 10 years and this was my favorite place so far.

Our family has been vacationing on the Oregon coast since I was a kid and Arch Cape is by far our favorite place to stay. The Pelican check's all the boxes when it comes to all the things we look for. We look forward to coming back.

We had a fantastic week-long stay! The house was spacious and easily accommodated our two families and four kids. The kids absolutely loved the four queen-sized bunk beds, and the private beach access was a wonderful bonus.
We were incredibly impressed by the host's responsiveness and thoughtfulness. She even went above and beyond by mailing us some musical instruments our kids accidentally left behind. Thank you for everything!

This property is spectacular! Plenty of room for all of us and tastefully built and decorated. Literally walked down the back deck stairs onto the beach-my grandkids were overjoyed.
It’s a fifteen-minute drive to Seaside, where you can enjoy traditional “beachy” activities.

We cannot recommend this lovely property enough. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax, eat, read, play games, and rest. Also, it is right on the beach which makes getting down to the beach for long walks with the dogs very easy. Thank you!

The house is perfect! Lots of space to spread out, a beautiful deck to relax on, and views that can’t be beat. You can enjoy ocean views from the living room! Plenty of sand toys at the house already. Arch Cape is a great community and the beach is never crowded. The kids enjoy the downstairs tv room, but their favorite part of the house is the amazing bunk room! When our family walk in they just say “wow”!

We have stayed in many beach homes, this is perhaps the best. The views were exceptional. The home is luxurious but also warm and welcoming. The deck cannot be beat. We sat for many happy hours watching the surf hit castle rock. The house is literally steps to the quiet beach. Communication with Natalie was easy, as well. We look forward to coming again.

Great location with something for everyone! Two family rooms, hot tub, great views, and amazing/easy access to the beach make this house perfect for family fun. The additional (and super comfortable) furniture in the upstairs family room was a wonderful surprise.

My family and I spent three amazing nights at the Pelican and we couldn’t have wished for more. The house was clean, well maintained and well stocked. The location could t be beat and there were plenty of beds for all of us. Space to come together or space to retreat when needed. Close to town but far enough away to feel like we were all alone. The weather could not have been any better. We made fun meals, played provided games, hot tubbed, walked the beach and hung out on the deck for sunsets. We haven’t been to Arch Cape in a few years. On our way home and already thinking about our next trip. Thank you so much for providing your lovely home to us for our stay.

This place was amazing to spend a family vacation. The only thing I wish was that I would have booked for longer period of time because we didn't want to leave. There was more than enough room for all of us and contacting the host with questions was so easy. I would highly recommend this home for a family getaway. We hope to plan another trip here in the future.

The location of this property is incredible. Views and access to the beach is unbelievable. The kitchen and family room area of the house are beautiful. Drawbacks - the house did not feel "cleaned" at all. Still had hairs in the showers and bathrooms, crumbs all over the floor, etc. Hoping the property management company can get this under control. Also, if you are staying here during the winter or colder months prepare to freeze downstairs. The heat does not work in certain areas, other rooms you manually have to turn on the heat, then turn if off, etc. Definitely took away from the experience unfortunately. The beds are insanely hard and uncomfortable. Everyone in our group was sore each day from sleeping on them. The location and view from this property is incredible but the inside living areas of the home leave something to be desired.

This is our annual extended family & friend anniversary weekend. Being visiting here for about 12 years. The house is a dream but what is more attractive is it’s cozy & homely. Luxury accom is often missing heart , not this one. Everyone curls up for movies or games or hiking with dogs, watching the sunsets, cooking together in a beautifully appointed kitchen . The list goes on….

From the moment we drove up until the day we left, Pelican House did not disappoint.
Clean, roomy, fully stocked…this was an outstanding location for our getaway with friends.
The location is perfect away from the crowded beaches just a few miles away. The beach was sparsely crowded and made walking on it feel like it was private.
The host was responsive and available for any questions we had.

This is our second stay at the Pelican and we will be coming back! The location, the view, and the house are incredibly perfect for our family. The downstairs area allows for family spreading out and quiet for the littles and the two masters upstairs are just perfect. Only reason for 4 stars is dishwasher broke first night out but it will be fixed soon and we will return! Love this place!

Arch Cape is a wonderful beach - not crowded. We can walk to tide pools or even Hug Point if we want to go for a long walk! This home has amazing beach decor and is located right on the beach! We love being able to enjoy the ocean views from inside the home or even better - on the new deck. The bunk room is a hit with the kids and they can spread out with the downstairs bonus room. We look forward to our week at the beach at this home every summer!!!

Eleven of us (ages 5-75) stayed at The Pelican for 8 days. It was wonderful! Great sleeping accomodations, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, a large, beautiful deck (almost right on the beach!), and the location is amazing! There is good beach access; lots of room to play and walk, never crowded, and an easy walk to the tide pools at the Arch. The views at The Pelican are beautiful! We are already looking forward to another stay next summer!

This house was better than the listing! The architecture of the house afforded great views in all directions. The interior design was modern and functional. The decor was pleasing as well. Noise was not a problem.
We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, the children’s toys, the pack and play for our toddler, the beach access, hearing the waves, and the comfortable beds in all the rooms. There were adequate instructions for anything you might need and the “rules” were quite reasonable. For our family aged 16 months through 76, it was perfect. Such a relaxing and happy time for us!
The owner was easy to reach when we had questions and so pleasant. Before our stay she was friendly in answering questions as well.
There is a reason this property stays booked up so far in advance! I would highly recommend this property!

We wanted to have our whole family out to the Oregon coast to celebrate our 40th Wedding anniversary. We had my wife and myself, our 3 adult children and 2 spouses and 6 grandchildren from 6 months to 11 years.
The "Pelican" did not disappoint! It was as advertised. Plenty of room, great location on the beach, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with all the cookware we needed. It was a very special place for a very special occasion. Worth every penny!

Amazing property right on the beach! This house is stunning..spotlessly clean, updated and extremely comfortable, has every possible amenity you could need, fully stocked kitchen which made meals effortless, close to Cannon Beach but still very quiet and private, very responsive and friendly host! We celebrated my 60th bday with family and we hope to come back again next year! Do not hesitate to rent this property!

The Pelican is the perfect Beach House for your whole family to stay. It was large enough for Your kids and their kids. Tons of sleeping quarters and you are right on the beach. We loved the hot tub. And you are only minutes from Cannon Beach and Seaside.

We have been staying at The Pelican for a number of years. I can’t say enough how well-appointed it is. Everything is well thought out and it really makes for the best experience. On a side note, the previous deck setup was awesome, the new one is unbelievable. Such a great space.
But perhaps more impressive is the host, Natalie. Truly goes above and beyond yo make every stay something special and it is always so appreciated.
As always, very fortunate to be able to return annually and very thankful for such a great host to share their home.

This home is located on the beach, no rear neighbors just the Pacific Ocean. The views were incredible. The house has everything needed to cook, wash, etc. I would not hesitate to stay here again. If you are looking for a relaxing environment, then this is it. Just sit back and watch the waves. The home has a cool modern feel. More than enough space for the eight of us.

The house is lovely and so-o-o-o close to the beach! We had six adults and one child. We happened to arrive during a storm. Watching the waves was great fun. We had one clear afternoon when we got to play on the beach. It was a great time.

We just loved staying at this house. The view, the beach, and the amazing home made our stay incredibly lovely. Natalie was very responsive if we had questions and the only downside is that this home books out so far I have to look into 2024 to book again! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this house!

We had a delightful time - 7 adults and 3 kiddos (3, 2 & 6mos). It was really nice to have all the bathrooms and king suites. The kitchen is amazingly stocked with supplies and utensils. The table is huge and we easily all fit around it. The living room furniture is comfortable, and the toddlers loved the little kid chair with its awning. It is right on the beach so fun to go down at anytime, and is close to other beaches and towns for exploring. Our host, Natalie, is wonderful to communicate with if we had questions or issues. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Natalie!!
