the place was great- the big cabana was awesome, the small one (spa) had a terrible smell, we think coming from the carpet? it smelled like wet dog, maybe they cleaned the carpet and left the house closed so it smelled damp and it wasn't pleasant to be in. We only used it for sleeping and had to keep the window open. Also the mini fridge in the spa house was not working, so we used the fridge in the main house, not a big deal. The sofa bed in the small house could use an update too, but all considered both houses are very comfortable and the location is unbeatable.

Cabana is cute and cozy! The space was clean and functioned well and very quiet. We didn't get to use the patio due to tons of rain which drenched everything, but grabbed the clear-sky moments and loved that the beach was just around the corner and Cannon Beach was an easy walk and a great place to hang out and shop. The Spa Suite was also very well appointed with a functional kitchen for limited cooking and a very large bathroom space.

We had two young kids in our party who enjoyed the games available in the two bedroom unit. The best part was the location - steps from the beach! There is no ocean view, but the proximity to the sand was amazing. It's also a short walk to the downtown area with lots of restaurants and shops. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Cannon Beach!

Spent 2 nights here and had a lovely time. Just off the beach walking distance to restaurants and central town. Clean and beautifully decorated. The most comfortable beds and pillows of our 12 days traveling around Oregon. Highly recommend staying here!

We have loved staying here (family of 6) for the past 6 years. Sadly, the cleanliness went downhill this year...and we expected the opposite given the emails/texts from Vacasa telling us that extra time would be spent on cleaning given the pandemic. That said, location is perfect.

We utilized the 2 cabins for our family of 4. Our 19 and 17 year old had the larger cabin and hubby and me in the spa suite. I Loved the oversized jacuzzi tub!

Cabins were equipped with pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. Favorite spot was 100 steps from our place. It was a bit spendy for the 4 of us, but so conveniently located to the rock and town!

Everything was so cute and clean! In the cabana room there are two private bedrooms, one bath and a full size kitchen with all the amenities! The spa room was a bedroom with a king size bed and a jacuzzi tub and a shower. This room has a little kitchen. I will definitely stay here again!! It’s only one house away from the beach. Can walk everywhere from here because it’s located in mid-town😊

Great location for enjoying the beach which literally is only steps away or walking into town for a coffee, etc. We had a great time enjoying Cannon Beach. Did I mention the convenient location?

There are many things to appreciate about this property, but a few stand out: the location not only to the beach, but also that we could walk straight onto the beach because of the path at the end of the road. We walked for coffee at Insomnia each morning and all meals we ate in town were very good. We especially liked the Irish Table (make a reservation ahead, even off season!), and I enjoyed the salmon and cream ale at The Pelican Brewery. Walking on the beach is my favorite activity, and it was a treat to experience negative tides with the tide pool rangers available to answer questions. It was our first time seeing Pyrosomes, a real treat for someone who loves the ocean.

A great property with a great location. You can walk straight to the beach and only a 10min walk to downtown. Also loved having our own parking space right in front of the house. Made things very easy. The house was clean, cute and had plenty of space for 9 of us.

Vacasa The location is good, the kitchens are well equipped, the sheets were clean, and there was parking right out front. Unfortunately, both the suite and cabana were filthy and require some basic maintenance to ensure that they're safe and suitable for guests. Safety 1. One of the windows in the cabana is extraordinarily difficult to lock, and it's a person-sized window next to the glass front doors that lead outside. 2. It smells like there may be a gas leak in the bedroom that shares a wall with the fireplace (which always has the pilot light lit) in the suite, and you can't open a window in that bedroom to get fresh air (the sliding doors open, but you shouldn't leave them open while you're asleep). 3. One of the light fixture shades fell from the ceiling in the suite hallway and we couldn't put it back because we didn't have a ladder. 4. The light over the stove that's attached to the microwave in the cabana doesn't work, nor does the stove fan vent property. That means that, if you cook for any length of time, you can't really see your food and, if anything burns, smoke fills the room. Comfort 1. There are three skylights in the cabana, two of which are over the sleeping area, so you will wake up at sunrise every morning. 2. There is also a string of large lights hung on the tree immediately in front of the cabana… Those lights are on too long and can be seen from inside the cabana even with the blinds closed. 3. In both the cabana and the suite, it's difficult to control the heat, which is very warm unless several windows are open. Cleanliness 1. In both the suite and the cabana, the bathroom showers had not been cleaned and the floors in both bathrooms were filthy. Someone else's hair was on the cabana shower floor, and the floor was still wet when we arrived. A dose of Comet cleaner and a nonstick mat for the suite bathtub would be good here. I asked for cleaning supplies and a mop, but was given only a few cleaning supplies and no mop, so I couldn't do much (the floors should be mopped - not just swept - between visitors). 2. The ceiling fan in the suite was filthy, with dust and grime sticking to all of the blades because it's near the kitchen and the fan blades never get cleaned. The fan blades literally appear to be hairy because there are years of filth stuck to them. Overall, this place is not somewhere I would ever stay again. Go for a hotel instead.

We stayed at both the cottage and the spa suite. You are literally one house in from the beach and a short walk to downtown. The location really could not be better. We were very happy with all of the furnishings and everything that was stocked in the kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had our family reunion here, & met all our expectations.
