Perfect location, short walk to downtown and lake activities. We especially enjoyed the huge backyard for our evening outdoor games. This house has so much character and friendly neighbors.

This house is one of the best rentals we have had. The inside was very Clean and the yard and porch was amazing. Check in was a breeze and the location to downtown is within walking distance. We would definitely rent this home again.

Couer D'aleane is a great vacation spot to go with kids. We had lot of fun going around the town and visiting the lake. The house is located at 10 min walking distance from lake and it is great. We were supposed to be a group of 8, but we actually ended up as a group of 4. The living and bedroom may have been smaller for 8 people. The host was fantastic in communicating and checking with us regularly.

This house is adorable with plenty of room for a group. There are tons of kitchen tools and dishes, which made our stay fun for cooking. Great location, a 5 minute walk to downtown.

We are three well-traveled (nationally and internationally) friends. We all agreed that this was the BEST VRBO property in which we have ever stayed. From the well-stocked kitchen to the beautifully decorated interior to the fantastic front porch and backyard, the home exceeded our expectations. This home was just as it was advertised. The bedrooms were a nice size. Two bathrooms worked well for our family of seven. The kitchen was well stocked, with plenty of pots, pans, bowls and dishes. Plus there were spices and other cooking essentials in the pantry. It is the nicest home we've stayed in when booking through VRBO. Thank you.

We stayed for the week, husband, myself and three adult children. Lots of room to spread out. Enjoyed sitting in the backyard every morning. It’s a short walk to many things…..grocery store, lake, downtown and lots of restaurants. The house is older but so quaint! Absolutely loved the area for vacation.

We had a surprise mini family reunion. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for our85 year old mom. The outside space we lived in! Had a bbq and our granddaughter loved just running around. The porch was perfect for conversation and coffee in the am .

Gary was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire booking process and stay. Lots of fun toys, very centrally located, and AC worked well! Definitely an old home, but had a sweet charm.

We absolutely loved this property. Staying here was like visiting grandma’s house, in the best possible way! The house was thoroughly appointed with sweet decorations, unique furniture, and a fully stocked kitchen. The Benson House was an absolute pleasure to visit. Gary made the process easy and stress free. The location is perfect for access to downtown CDA's attractions. The house itself is fully outfitted with all we needed for a full month. The back yard is huge and peaceful. Great to have dinner on the deck while the kids are playing. Thank you very much for everything, we'd love to come back some time.

This home was our home-away Christmas for my family this year. It was so comfortable with all 7 of us tigether.. Lots of room to spread out, comfortable beds and we loved sharing our meals together in the large dining room. The kitchen was very roomy for all of us to cook together and we loved having all the numerous kitchen gadgets, appliances and many different serving pieces! We also loved being close to downtown and could walk the six blocks to all of the shops. Part of the family experienced the “escape room” adventure downtown and loved it. Our group also went on the gondola ride at Silver Mountain in Kellogg. It was quite the experience!! This home was very cozy, and tastefully decorated throughout, keeping with the period in which it was built. The beighborhood was extremely quiet and surrounding homes were very nice. We loved Anthony’of Riverstone for a birthday/ Anniversary dinner as well as New Year’s Eve at Tony’s on the Lake followed by fireworks on the lake at midnight to celebrate the new year! We would love to visit again in the summer in order to enjoy the lake and the front porch . Thanks Gary for being do responsive and for making our visit so wonderful for Christmas.

Quiet yet Convenient to everything i wanted. Well equiped house.

We spent a lovely three weeks at the Benson house in July. Although the home is old, it has been restored and is very well equipped with everything you might need. The front veranda is the best part of the home where we spent many mornings and evenings. The beds were comfortable, it has a lovely private backyard and the house is nicely decorated. Would recommend! Also, great location!! Only 4 blocks from Sherman Street, the heart of Coeur D'Alene.

We visited CDA on one of the most beautiful Memorial Day week-ends in years. With four little ones and every adult wanting to be outside playing games it was perfect! The backyard is huge and well supplied with games and toys and the front porch invites you to sit and relax. The little boys spent hours on the swing. The inside had space enough for everyone and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the large dining table as we ate most meals at the house. It was a lovely time spent with family!

This was a perfect place for us to enjoy a family winter holiday retreat. The home is beautiful and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay here and the home has a very cozy feel. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet. Gary was a pleasure and very responsive when I had questions. We would definitely stay here again. The property is quite charming and everything was ship shape; the home is well stocked with pretty much everything you need. Though we didn't spend much time there during the day, the back yard is beautiful and equipped with gas barbecue's if you're inclined to grill. The owner is easily accessible and responsive which made everything that much easier. The property location is terrific as you can take a few minutes brisk morning walk to downtown for breakfast or just coffee. Plus it is in a relatively quiet neighborhood so there were no intrusive noises. The wi-fi and cable TV worked great which can be a real annoyance otherwise. Coeur d'Alene is one of the most scenic places in the USA and is well worth the trip - this was my second time back to the area and it did not disappoint. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is that I felt the cleaning fee was high, particularly in view of the fact we did not cook and used only one of the bedrooms plus the 2 bathrooms for our 3 night stay. That said, I would not hesitate to rent this property again as the positives vastly outweigh the cleaning fee.

We loved our stay. It was perfectly located for downtown activities and in great proximity to restaurants and other shopping, including groceries. The house has old-house charm and every accommodation has been considered (towels, soaps, extra blankets, grill tools, etc.) The kitchen is small but clean, updated and well-stocked. The beds are comfortable, yard is spacious, neighborhood is quiet, porch is comfortable and charming. Owners are very easy to work with and they communicate very responsively and thoroughly so you know what to expect when you get there. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect! There were lots of room for 5 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children with 4 nice bedrooms and futon in the living room. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with essentials and all kinds of cooking pans and utensils (even for my Chef son). The huge yard filled with snow gave the kids an opportunity to play and build a snowman. This house would be amazing in the Spring and Summer.
