Enjoyed a very romantic escape to this tri-level home with pacific coast views and waters edge hiking area for active lifestyle visitors . The home was comfortable and the sounds of the ocean in bed was very calming.

As returning guests, we knew what to expect from Crow’s Nest: great location and comfortable accommodations. Loved having coffee on the front balcony listening to the waves, occasional hills, and cooing morning doves. Fiscalini Ranch is a gem and a great place to walk our dogs. Looking forward to returning.

This house fit our needs perfectly. Next to the ranch preserve was amazing. Perfect for the dogs and us. Excellent view of the coast from the house. We had a great time.

Wouldn't go back! The hot tub wasn't serviced and manager knew it. I told her the next day of our visit. Its the reason I rented this place Nice place but would find another next time. Small, clean, but nothing spectacular.

The house was perfect for me, my husband, and two kids (ages 10 & 11) as well as our dog. The porch overlooked the nature preserve and ocean. We saw deer, crabs, sea lions, and such amazing nature. The walk and sunsets at the preserve were awesome. The house had just what we needed including the hot tub and room set-up. The downtown is cute. We saw Hearst Castle and even trekked into Paso Robles area doing honey tasting at John Creek Farm, olive oil tasting at Olea Farms, and ax throwing & archery for Father’s Day at Cass Winery. What an amazing trip!!!

The house was perfect for our getaway. We enjoyed morning coffee and wine with sunset from the deck while listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. We walked our dog on the nearby ranch trail each day we were there. The location is a lovely and peaceful neighborhood easily accessible to Hwy 1 for adventuring during the day. The hot tub was a real treat at night. We will return!

The house is very close to a natural park area and the ocean. Location is wonderful. Very convenient to downtown Cambria as well. We had a wonderful time! Definitely recommend.

Initially wasn't crazy about the width of the steps going up to the place but got over that quickly. It was everything we wanted for just the two of us. Being a very clean place made a very nice first impression. I wish the "yard" was bigger for the dog but we were so close to the trail, that didn't really seem to matter much. All in all it was a great stay and yes, we would rent that home again.

Reviewer Comments: The website shows pictures of a spacious appearing house with a blonde interior paint scheme, but the house is now painted in a gray-green color that makes it rather dark. While all of the expected supplies and furnishings were there, it needs to be said that this is a very compacted house without any space to spare for bathroom counter-tops or a moderately large TV by today's standards. The location gives excellent access to Fiscalini Ranch where your dog can roam, and the views from the deck are very nice, but the weather while I was there did not permit much lounging time outside due to high winds. The hot tub was very nice after tennis in the mornings, and the queen bed in the larger bedroom was comfortable. Although the lower windows in the bedroom had black-out cellular shades which were great, there is an upper row of windows that have no covering at all, thus necessitating aluminum foil coverings held in place with masking tape to avoid getting up with the sun. I found work-arounds for those things that were not appealing to my tastes, but all-in-all, compared to the many other homes I have rented in Cambria, this one comes in at less than average on my list.

My family traveled from Los Angeles to get a break from city life. This house was perfect for my husband and 3 sons. It’s a few houses away from the reserve where we went hiking, tide pools, saw sea otters and seals. The views were fantastic. You could hear the ocean waves at night. There are deer wandering the streets which my kids thought was just amazing. Checkin process was easy, it’s right downtown about 7 minutes away from the home. They give you a choice of a local bottle wine or champagne. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely go back.

(Such great sea-life viewing!) We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunset at night and looking at the stars from the hot tub. Be aware the stairs are a bit steep - they were a little bit of a struggle for our aging pup who came along and loved the walks by the coast.

Excellent location, two blocks from the ocean and one block from Fiscalini. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, great views, reasonable access to town and dining. If I had to change anything it would be the living room couch.

Great location with plenty of outdoor activities. The perfect size for the 3 of us. House was well stocked with necessities and amenities. Beautiful views and nice quiet neighborhood.

Literally down the block from 700+ acre reserve. Great to walk especially if have a a dog. Oceanview from your deck and sunset. Space is at a premium but it is a rental. Well appointed otherwise. Recommend it if you’re going to visit charming Cambria.

Loved our stay at Crow’s Nest. So relaxing to sit on the porch with coffee and listen to the waves and watch the fog rolling in. Perfect location right near Fiscalini Ranch to walk the trails with our dogs. The home was clean and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our 5-day stay.

We had a wonderful visit. The preserve was fun to explore together with my mom and young son. We were close to town and Cambria’s nearby attractions.

Unfortunately the WiFi router was not plugged in, so it took one day for us to figure it out before we realized what the issue was. It would have been nice if that was checked to be sure it was in working order, before the keys were given to us. But we were happy with the house. *The hot tub was ready and warm *Clean and tidy *Excellent Location to trails and tide pools
