Nice experience. House was supplied with quality linens, dishes, etc. Host was very gracious Great location and beautiful surrounding. Plenty of space to accommodate everyone.

The home was better than advertised. And the owner was pleasant to work with. I highly recommend.

Old friend from High school back in class of 85 we have been doing this for years. We will be booking the is house again next year. We have found the one it took us a couple years to get it set up ideal for a bunch of old friends to sit around and tell stories. Very clean

We rent this house out every year for our company retreat! We participate in the annual AIA Sandcastle Competition. This house is perfect for multiple families!!!

21 Family members stayed at the Jamaicamehappy Beach complex for the 4th of July and had a great time! We enjoyed fishing, boating, kayaking, pool time, outside cooking, beach runs and nearby restaurants and shopping! Plenty to do at the house and Galveston is just a few miles down the road. The air-conditioning, kitchens and bathrooms worked great. The ice machine installed in the island made lots of ice and kept up with our drinks! We definitely recommend staying here.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the house with our family from Michigan. We love this place and the few smalls issues we encountered were addressed quickly. We will be back!

Accommodated 6 adults and 2 infants easily. Quiet cove on the bay with not a lot of boat traffic which was very nice.

We love staying here. Myself and other members of my family have been renting this spot for many years. Plenty of rooms but with a good amount of separation. However, we have noticed in the last couple years the place has not kept up with repairs and updates. For example, the upstairs deck needs to be refinished and picnic tables are barely usable due to warping. Also we noticed a lot of lights flickering all of the time. Not sure if there is some electrical issue. There are several other small things but nothing that would keep us from renting in the near future but long term would have us looking elsewhere if not tended to. We hope to continue renting in the future!

We stayed at this beautiful home to celebrate my son-in-law graduating from Law School. We had about 15 people staying at the home and everyone had plenty of room to spread out, the rooms all had bathrooms and were nicely decorated the pool was our favorite thing in the house the weather wasn’t great but when we got a chance we were all in the pool or fishing we all had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! The hosts were very nice and always responded right away.

The home is a little weathered but I guess that's what happens when sitting on the water. The pool was warm and the location was close the the beach. Overall, our family had a great time.

This house was situated nicely to accommodate a large group. The kitchen was well-equipped, bedrooms nicely situated for privacy, and the common areas were great for social gatherings.

Our extended family loved the property and great location close to good fishing and birding ( also fishing from the property itself). Lovely pool and hot tub. We hope to visit again.

Our family of 20 had a great time at this property!

There were 20 of us staying at the property. Everyone had a comfortable bed and plenty of bathrooms. With three living rooms, three kitchens and one outdoor kitchen and living room, there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The swimming pool and hot tub were in constant use and the two kayaks provided lots of fun for the young people. All the guys went on a saltwater fishing trip one day and had a blast. But mostly, we stayed at the property because it was so comfortable and we were so happy to be together there was no need to leave. Our host, Dannell, responded immediately to any of our questions. We could not have asked for quicker response. We wiould definitely book this property again.

Inside was clean. Outside had not been swept around pool area and entrance. Up stairs inside very nice. Down stairs outdated needs freshening up. Outside bar area appliances need to be replaced. Two bath rooms ok others need help. Apartment nice bedroom needs to be expanded into storage area and updated along with bathroom. Pool area nice. Exterior needs paint. Great space for large groups. Has potential to be fabulous property.

Took the wedding party people on a weekend get away to celebrate my son and soon to be daughter-n-law before they get married this month!!! Had a great time!!!

We have been here 3 years in a row and love this place, perfect place for a low key relaxing get together with a group of old friends.

This is our 2nd time staying here for the Annual Sandcastle Competition held on East Beach. This house is the absolute best! Layout, Cleanliness, and Location! Hope to rent it again next year!

This was an awesome rental and location for our family vacation. Very clean, amazing layout for multiple families and great amenities. Our favorite rental we've had and already booked next summer. The host are very accommodating and communicated great with us. Highly recommend.

We stayed here on a family vacation, it was a pretty big group, we used every room and bed in the house. We had a great time overall, just a couple of troubling things. The pool and the location were great. It isn't walking distance to the beach, we had to drive. We rented the golf cart that was with the house which I wouldn't recommend unless they get it fixed. It arrived a day after we checked in because it was being worked on and when we drove it, we were left stranded in the heat. We contacted the owner and they had it taken to be looked at again but it came back, nothing was found wrong with it. No discount was offered for the time we were not able to use it. The owner was quick to respond overall. Some of the guests that were with us let me know at the end of the trip that some things weren't working, like the hot water for one of the bathtubs. Since I wasn't informed until after the fact I did not get a chance to communicate that with the owner. They were water bugs in the house but not many, I'm sure that's hard to manage given the location. There were a few issues that I have mentioned but really overall we had a great time. Everyone loved the pool and the outdoor kitchen was nice. We did have pool maintenance and lawn care workers come while we were there, which I found odd. We did have a great time there, but I probably wouldn't stay there again at least not with as people as we had. There were 6 bedrooms, 4 downstairs with their own entrance, and 2 upstairs with the living areas and inside kitchen. And the boat house, which was nice for extra beds but we had to put only teenagers there since there wasn't enough privacy for the adult couples.

I have a huge family, ages ranging from 5-80. It was fun for everyone!! My husband is a paraplegic in a wheelchair and it was definitely accessible. It rained several days so it was perfect that the inside was large enough to hold everyone and there was covered outside too. Location was perfect and quiet. I asked several questions and the host answered immediately. We rented the Golf cart and it was nice to go explore with. Overall I am so pleased with everything.

We had several families stay here with us and it was great for cousins to get together and swim. There was plenty of space to spread out, there were several fridge spaces and kitchen(ette) areas (main area, pool area and boat house) which was also helpful! We had an issue with a lot of cockroaches, which I guess is common near the water,? Still a little unnerving. Property owner was quick to help resolve issues overall.

We had room for all and enjoyed the luxury of the dock for fishing, the pool for swimming and convenience travel to the beach.

Booking and checking in was a breeze. Had a few issues but that is to be expected. The owner was responsive to all out inquiries in a timely manner. There were other small issues that were directly sent to the owner. This is a great house and a great layout...and we throughly enjoyed our stay with the extended family. We thank you for sharing your home with our family....and would definetly rent this property again!!!

Overall we had a great time! This place has enough room for everyone with lots to do. Don’t forget trash bags and bug spray. Things to make better for the future. Need a light outside by the grass area for night games. There is one but it didn’t come on. Light switches need to be labeled. Fire pit would not work. Master bath DS cold water knob was stripped and we couldn’t take a bath for babies. Guest room DS bathroom door drags the floor. Jack and Jill bathroom DS has a leak from AC above window and it’s BAD. It makes the rooms smell. Master BR US ceiling fan/light would not work. Description of rooms suggests that there are 7 separate BR and a bunkhouse. The 7th BR is in the bunkhouse and it has a full size bed not queen in it. The keys that were left for us to use none of them opened the front door but locking the front door is kind of pointless because you can walk up the ramp right into the upper deck. None of these things kept us from having a wonderful time with our family and we plan on booking again!

We had the best time! The property was super clean and there is so much room to spread out and relax. The patio area was our favorite spot! We paid for the heated pool and hot tub - so perfect!! There is tons of outdoor spaces - perfect for outdoor games like Cornhole or Horseshoes! Deck space is huge and we loved the house over the water!! All questions were quickly answered! I would highly recommend this home for your next gathering!

The property was great. The other guest said it was like a "hotel" experience. The outdoor living & kitchen space was greatly appreciated as it kept the guests out of the main kitchen so the chefs could cook. We will hopefully be back.

This is such a fun place to stay! The pool, hot tub, and kayaks were hits! Grassy lawn was great for outdoor games. Eating areas in covered area around pool and upstairs inside. Indoor kitchen is great and well for equipped. Many spots for small groups to chat, play board games, work a puzzle. Rooms and beds were comfortable and private. Boat house was terrific for teens. Had great communication with owner when we had questions. Only hitch was wi-fi which didn't work. Fortunately, the only tv station we could see had the Astros AL championship game, albeit in Spanish! A memorable time for all of us!!
