We were very pleased with the layout of the property and felt very safe for our dog. The property can be completely closed in and has plenty of space for you dog to run. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to rent this one out again.

Stayed with my two brothers while on a fishing trip. The property was perfect in all aspects. With canal access, the guide pulled up in his boat every morning and droped us back off in the afternoon. I hope we get to stay again in the future.

Comfortable beds, new linens, nice furniture, fenced yard. House well equipped with everything you need. Would rent this house again. It was perfect for us and our little dog.

This house was just what we were looking for to complete a short trip. We loved the location to the beach and the neighborhood. The beach was just across the street from the neighborhood. You are able to drive your car on the beach and park. The house is in a canal/cove area on the water in a quaint neighborhood. We expected mosquitos to be terrible, but there was not a single mosquito. We actually noticed that there were hardly any bugs outside by the water. Living on a Texas Lake, we were impressed with this! We loved the kayaks, the bicycles, and the decks. Fishing off of the deck was fun so bring your gear. The upstairs was a perfect place for teens to sleep while adults can have privacy downstairs. The owner was very responsive. I contacted them asking for a mop because the floors had some soapy residue on them. She offered to send housekeeping back but we declined. It wasn’t a big deal to us and certainly was not complaint worthy. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We would totally stay again! If large dogs were allowed we’d probably stay often and for longer visits. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Tortuga Cay was great! Beautiful location on the canal and quick and convenient beach access. We really enjoyed the bikes and the kayaks!

Make the reservation even if it’s last minute. Robin was a great and responded quickly. The house was located in a great spot and our doodles loved the fenced yard. The house was clean and the views were so good! We ate on the deck, we fished, we watched the fish swim in the green underwater light, we sipped coffee and sat in the swing early in the mornings, we laid on the chairs on the top deck before bed while we listened to the music from across the water and counted the stars, we enjoyed a morning walk on the beach with the dogs, we biked around the neighborhood, we sat downstairs and let the dogs play in the yard while we visited with the neighbors, we kayaked, we swam, we stayed up all night watching movies. We did it all in a great house with a great host. Book the trip!

It was a great relaxing time. We slept good, enjoyed the neighborhood, kayaks, and the sea breeze. The home was in need of some exterior maintenance, and the fishing light was not working. We had a great time.

Everything matched up with the reviews which were excellent. Although the weather was bad that particular weekend, the place was great and we really enjoyed it. All things were in working order and the place was very clean.

The house is lovely and VERY clean. The neighborhood is peaceful. It was the perfect property for my two pups to safely navigate. Robin is an excellent host and we hope to come back very soon!

Great spring break escape. The house and location was everything we had hoped for.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The swing on the deck was so nice for sipping morning coffee and the upstairs balcony was great for lounging. We didn't catch any fish but it wasn't from the lack of trying and an abundance of fish which we could clearly see at night thanks to the green light in the water in front of the private deck. Would definitely recommend this house.

Property was very clean and well maintained. We had a blast fishing from the dock under the green lights. Caught 3-4 small reds and a few trout. Great place to bring the kiddos for fun weekend

My husband and I have been looking for a place at the coast that would allow us to travel with our two dogs. This was perfect. The fenced yard came in so handy. They had a place to stretch their legs. We walked the neighborhood and everyone was so pleasant. The house was very comfortable during this very cold time. We can't wait to go back!

The home was clean, comfortable, and as described. The interior was modern and nicely furnished. Fishing and kayaking were great, and it was so enjoyable to be able to grill up our catch right after hopping off the water. Only wish we could've stayed longer!

Perfect spot for our pre-Thanksgiving family trip - plenty of space for parents, young kiddo, and grandparents. Felt super safe for our daughter and pup. We spent a lot of time inside because of rain and we were very comfortable!

The house was wonderfully done and very clean. Enjoyed sitting on the porch swing looking out over the canal and the two-seater bike is so fun!

House was very clean and had most everything we needed. The spiral staircase was not shown in the listing photos and we were not happy that it was there.

This property was awesome to stay at with our Friends, kid and two shih tzus. Had everything we needed plus more, including the baby gates. Very clean and a great fishing spot. Top of our list to stay at from now on.
