This was an adorable, comfortable apartment, centrally located to beaches, downtown and wineries, just as described on the site. Robyn was very easy to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

The property was exactly what we wanted/needed/expected. Since our plan was to be out and about during the length of our stay, coming back to a place that was clean, bright with sunshine with a wonderful breeze was amazing! I would suggest this location for all couples looking for a perfect space to call home while visiting Santa Cruz. We loved walking the neighborhood in the morning—both the beach and local coffee shop are a short walk away (coffee-7minutes; beach-under 5 minutes) The property manager, Robin, was everything we could hope for: responsive before our stay, easy to contact with any questions, made the check in process clear & easy, and was never seen but we felt comfortable knowing she was only a phone call away. We really did feel as if we had our own hideaway in Santa Cruz.

Loved to stay at Robin’s property. The flat is spotlessly clean in a quiet neighbourhood. It’s equipped with all you need for your vacation. Robin is a very kind and helpful host. West Cliff Hideaway was a wonderful place to relax away from our remodel! Close to the wonderful walking path on West Cliff; and no need to lift a finger - towels and bedding laundered for you is such a nice touch. Well equipped and quiet.

A definite winnner and a rental to which we’re looking forward to returning. Cozy without being cramped, and in a perfect location on the West Side, easy walk to Natural Bridges.

What a wonderful place to kick back and relax. My family of four loved the location and Robin couldn’t have been more helpful with local recommendations. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. The cottage had everything we could possibly need. We’ll be back!

My sister and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at West Cliff Hideaway. The place was really nice and so quiet. The owner had everything ready for us. We were within walking distance to the beach and all the wonderful places to eat. We would definitely stay at West Cliff Hideaway again!!

Robin was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The accommodations were exactly as advertised. Comfortable bed in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the beach. We took full advantage of the kitchen and enjoyed the private patio. We didn't need to ask for anything. We will definitely be coming back.

Our family of four had an amazing stay at Robin's West Cliff Hideaway. Staying here made our vacation so enjoyable. The location is perfect in a quiet, safe neighborhood with a beautiful short walk to the beach. The home is clean, well stocked, welcoming and comfortable. Our recent visit to Santa Cruz for a rendezvous with family was one we will always remember. Our lovely West Cliff Hideaway was well equipped and offered a spectacular location to the bluffs, to the market, shopping and to many other popular attractions such as Anuo Nuevo to view the Elephant seals, Steamer's Lane for Paddlefest 2018 and the Santa Cruz pier and harbour for citing of sea lions and otters. Robin's warm welcome and attention to detail ensured we always had a restful place to relax with our family. A true Home away from Home. Thank you Robin.

Great location. Enjoyed so much, beautiful walks each day along West Cliff Drive to the Santa Cruz wharf. Spectacular views of the ocean. Robin did everything to make our stay very comfortable. No detail was left undone. Thank you for your hospitality and hope to stay again when we visit our son and his family.

Great vacation! My son and I needed a get away from the unpredictable weather in the east coast and this place fulfilled our needs. The pictures on the website does not do justice to the natural beauty of Santa Cruz CA. The views from West Cliff Drive are gorgeous and breath taking! and only two blocks away from where we stayed,. Robin was very accommodating and detailed orientated. My son stated he felt safe and comfortable staying in Robin's place. She had brochures and plenty of info of good places to eat. I recommend Emily's bakery and Burger. We made it out to San Francisco and went on a bike tour thru the Golden Gates bridge and into Sausalito. I highly recommend Blazing Saddles for their tour. Overall, we had a blast on the West Coast. Thank you Robin for making us feel like being home away from our real home in Jersey! Ruth W.

Nice accommodation with exceptionally comfortable bed. So much better than a hotel stay and best of all: no loud partiers or doors slamming as guests came and went. My only "complaint" was the internet connection was so slow and poor I was unable to use my laptop or I-pad for streaming or even posting to FB. (Robin, I forgot to mention this when we spoke. I doubt that it will keep me from booking in the future because all else was so great. I'll just know not to plan on being "connected" for the duration. Thanks for your kindness.)

My family and I had a wonderful time in this cute hideaway! The neighborhood was quiet, beach was close and I was very impressed with how clean the property was. Robin made us feel welcome and I cannot wait to stay there again. The pictures do not do it justice.

We have just returned from a week in this lovely cottage. We are in complete agreement with other renters---the apartment is attractive, comfortable, well-equipped, and the location was ideal. Robin is so pleasant, helpful, and accessible. We loved Santa Cruz and look forward to a longer stay in the West Cliff Hideaway.

A wonderful weekend getaway in Santa Cruz. The location is just a short walk to beautiful coast to watch surfers. The kids loved playing in the ocean and visiting the beach boardwalk. All the reviews are exactly as we found property- quiet, clean, comfortable. There really is no detail that owner has left out in thinking of guests visiting the area. Thanks!

Thanks Robin, We are local business in Santa Cruz and frequently have guests that visit us for an extended period. This time around our guests were from New Zealand... they couldn't say enough about the place and the accommodations. Biking on west cliff, walking for coffee, grabbing pupus or a beer after work and just watching the sunset are all 1 block away. A great place. Grandparents love the close proximity to West Cliffs Walkway for early morning walks for us. And for the grandkids, it is easy to walk to the nearby park...and so much fun to get there by going through the "Barkway." Having a washer and dryer is just the best!!

Stayed with my girlfriend for a little bit of down time while visiting family in central California. The Hideaway is just as it is pictured, but even more comfortable than it looks. The kitchen is bright and cheery. My girlfriend was delighted with the colorful washcloths and various bath gels in the bathroom and the lovely linens on the bed. The El Palomar restaurant in town is fabulous...some of the best Mexican food we have had in a long time. The owner (Robin) was very available for any requests or needs we might have had. We spent as much time as we could by the ocean, walking along West Cliff Drive or on the beach. We hope to return some day. =) Note: There is a set of stairs up to the front door and I would recommend for 2 people as opposed to 4.

Our week long stay was great! Robin & Bill were very gracious and helpful with local information. They thought of everything, even providing umbrellas and grocery shopping bags! The apartment was immaculate with lots of natural light, and just as seen in the photos. The bed was comfortable. It has everything needed to cook and eat in. We woke up to the sounds of sea lions wafting through the air. It is a short 2-3 block walk to west cliff drive where we walked along the ocean every day, watching dolphins and pelicans play. For those with knee problems, there is a steep staircase to get in/out of the apartment, but there is a sturdy handrail. We loved this place and will probably go back again.

My stay at West Cliff Hideaway was great. The place was beautiful and close to the beach. Robin did a nice job making sure the place has everything you need. It was quite and homey. The area has everything and Bill and Robin let me know where the best places to go are. The walk along the coast on this side of town is amazing.
