This was the perfect spot to stay if you’re looking for a spacious, charming, clean studio. The host was helpful and communicative. The only thing missing for us was a kitchen, but we knew this ahead of time and planned accordingly. Truly a great experience!

The perfect base if you are looking to discover all the beauty Friday Harbor has to offer. An easy walk into the heart of town and only stone's throw to the local brewery. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Rental was accurately described. Only negative is that there are no optional shades for the windows. I stayed at this location for my night shift rotations so I had to sleep during the day, and with the lack of shades or curtains, it was light and very hard to sleep

We were happy with it.

We enjoyed out stay. The picture shows a couch and there was no couch. There was a blow up bed, but that was not in the description. The walls are very thin and we were awaken every night at 1:00 am by the sound of the other residents coming home. Beautiful neighborhood, would be happy to stay there again.

Perfect location if you’re on foot. It’s within walking distance from all the shops and restaurants and the ferry dock in Friday Harbor. Charming old home. Could use a sofa for relaxing after a long day of walking (Explorers Suite). The bed was comfortable but in an awkward spot. Would stay again.

We rented 2 rooms for 8 adults. This and explorers suite. Good amount of room. The shower stall in this room could use a good grout bleach. Dark and has smell. Otherwise clean. Not really a kitchen area. The bathroom sink doubles as your “kitchen”. Location was fantastic.

Reviewer Comments: Our stay was 8 days and we loved the warm antique was clean and comfortable.The website showed a griddle and toaster but the room did not have these items. There are large windows in this unit for lots of natural light but 4 of the windows do not have window coverings. Waking up before you are ready and privacy was an issue. We had to cover the windows with dark sheets, that solved the problem. Otherwise, we loved the walk ability to all the shops and restaurants andtheferry.

Great space. Convenient to town, lots of room, great parking, great bed, connectivity good. Old building so sounds thru walls and ceiling above are to be expected.

The location of this unit was fabulous, a one minute walk to town. The space itself was roomy and Qwaint with an electric fireplace for Heating. A bonus was an additional heating unit in the bathroom. Be aware that there are several other units in the same house, With a 9 PM to 9 AM curfew for noise. We had issues two nught with other guests, but the property management company ended up, making making good on a mat. Know that if you need an immediate response, you need to use the emergency number, not just the regular phone number. We enjoyed the funky space, but the pillows were hideous and need to be replaced the shower needs to have it’s tile replaced, or at least the mold and mildew scrubbed from the grout. Bare bones hospitality at a 5-star price, but you can’t beat the location.

I was concerned for my privacy inside this property. There were no blinds on the Eastern facing windows. This allowed for other suite tenets to see into my room. I made sure to dress in the bathroom. However, this room was super cute and in a great location. You can definitely hear other suite occupants. Super clean, super charming.

Great place to stay close to town

Great location about 4 blocks from the ferry. The house is old, but cute, clean and well appointed. The rooms are very spacious. Great stay for the price. We would have given it 5 stars, but the mattress was abysmal. We slept horribly for 3 nights and my back is killing me. It felt like a very old soft mattress that had an even softer mattress topper on it or something. The room had lots of windows which was great, but 4 of them had no shades so that didn't help with our sleep in the morning. I would definitely come back if they spent a little money on a quality mattress, because we really liked the place.

A few suggestions for the property; blinds or curtains over the small, square windows. Every morning the sun would beam in & directly hit your eyes while in bed. I would also suggest providing a bath mat/towel outside the shower & maybe some board games/cards. There’s so much empty shelves in the room. Instructions for the tv were not in the room when we arrived but we figured it out. Probably just an overlooked item. All around we had a great stay. We were walking distance to the ferry landing & rental car companies. We spent most of our time doing water activities & visiting Orcas & Lopez. The San Juan Island Brewery was amazing & literally walking distance right behind our house. We had an amazing trip!!! Location can’t be beat!

Old lumpy mattress. Bedding needs replacing. Dark brown towels that you can't tell how clean they are, Housekeeper very nice and helpful. One sink to wash dishes, brush teeth, wash hand, everything you need a sink for. 2 mirrors in the sink area so 2 people could not be in that area at the same time. Shower curtain needs replacing. Mold on bottom hem. Nothing to make you feel welcomed.Just some little things like a welcome note coffee for the 1st morning. Little things make a great impact

Clean, classy, close to town

Older house converted to apartments, but clean. Needed some yard work done, but over all this was an excellent place. The location was just blocks from Friday Harbor. We stayed 7 nights and it would have been nice to have more of a kitchen available for meals. We also fished most of the time all around the Islands and were gone alot. For fishing, again, needed a full size kitchen fridge in the unit. We would return to this unit again if we were just sightseeing and shopping. Clean, quiet, and easy access.
