The family loved swimming in the lake. There was plenty of room for all of us. Stacy was great to work with. We had a great time.

Great space with plenty of bedrooms for everyone ! Love the huge kitchen with 2 family size tables for everyone to eat at ! The kids all love swimming in the lake all day too ! Such a wonderful experience as this was our second time there and we can’t wait to go back this year! Thanks for a great time!

Excellent. Friendly. Fun. Helpful. This place is the place to get away from the world. It's away from everyone, quiet and relaxing. The children played in the water (the lake could use some cleaning) from daylight till dark. Yes! We would rent this property again

The lodge is spacious, nicely furnished, good services (air co., hot water, walk-in fridge, dish washer, beds, kitchen utensils, etc.) and roomy for our 30 family members from infants to grand-parents. The pond has some surface growth, but it didn't hinder us from fishing, boating, and swimming. Only downers - the roads and flies are horrible!

Our large family throughly enjoyed a 4 nights stay. The accomodations were way beyond our expectations. We enjoyed the pond, for fishing and swimming along with the kyacks, paddleboats and the floating dock . The location was nice and quiet until we arrived. :) Enjoyed the wildlife, the nature trails and just special quality time with our families who came from PA - KS. A great central meeting place.

Guests loved the beds and the many bathrooms. Guests also raved about the beautiful property, from the pond to the hiking trails. While this lodge is clearly worthy of a five star review, I will say the check in process felt more like a bunch of warnings instead of a friendly welcome. I understand the need to establish some ground rules, but during the walk through it felt like we, the adult paying guests in our mid thirties, we’re being seen as more of a liability than mature adult guests who simply wanted to enjoy each other’s company. It wasn’t the best way to set the tone for the weekend. Regardless the owners do a great job of having many accessories and staying in touch via phone. I would recommend this lodge to all large groups.

Every fall our family of seven siblings, spouses and parents plan a trip. We are now set on staying here every fall. Couldn't ask for a cleaner, spacious, private, well equipped location, and a gracious host. AND it is well within our budget. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world.

This is an awesome home in a beautiful rural setting. We had 9 adults & 3 children and we had more than enough space for everyone. The pond was awesome for paddle boating and swimming off of the dock. Pros: Great home. Great location. Peaceful setting. Had 3 refrigerators and a walk in cooler which was very convenient. Firewood was furnished for the fire pit which was great. We were allowed to check in 2 1/2 hours early which really worked out great for our group. Cons: A day prior to arrival I received a text from the property owner telling me that they required a $300 (cash only) deposit for the kayak paddles regardless if you were going to use the kayaks or not. I felt like this should have been part of the VRBO listing and have the ability to pay through VRBO. I was required to take out the $79 insurance which should have covered any damages. The only other downside were things like no remote for the kitchen TV which made it unusable. Mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers and dead flies on the window sills in the bedrooms. However, it was mainly a very clean place but those things were overlooked and shouldn't have been. Kayaks had plugs missing which made them unusable for the adults. Regardless of the cons, I believe we would stay there again if given a chance to work that out with our group.

2nd time here for my family. Property is awesome, lots of fun to be had outside!! Plenty of room for everyone. My only complaint would be to upgrade the cookware, not a great selection of pot and pans. Other than that my family and the one we were with had a great time.

Had a wonderful family time. One more bathroom would make it more accommodating for the number of people it sleeps. Dock sinking into pond and supplied kayaks short on oars but we still had a nice time together.

The property is quite nice, but minor changes could make it better. We discovered that there were mice in the facility. The mice had chewed the toilet paper in the bathroom in the lowest level and we had to go to the store to get more. There was also evidence of mice in the laundry room on the main floor in the garage. Also we were not aware of a $300 cash deposit that was needed to use the kayak paddles. I had to run to the ATM to get the money. It was fully refunded at the end of our stay. The king bed upstairs is very uncomfortable, very hard. An extra blanket for each bedroom would be nice. We have stayed here before and we like the location as it is centrally located for members of our family and the kids really enjoy the lake. There is plenty of space in the kitchen and lots of refrigerator space since we bring and prepare our own food for the weekend. Overall, this is a good vacation spot.

Wonderful for all ages!

Don't let the pictures confuse you, the place and the house in real life just "WOW". Lake, decks, nature around are just speechless. We are traveling around the country quite abit. So far this is the best "equipmented" house for the big group of friends/family I ever rented. We have people age range from 2 years old to 55, everyone loved the place and joined it. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much to the owner/property manager, soooo nice people.

This property has it all for an active family, boating, fishing, hiking, geode hunting and much more. The lodge is very well equipped both inside and outside to accommodate everyone’s needs and wants. We had a great time and the kids did not want to leave. We were a groupie of 12 and there was tons of room to spare. Definitely will consider renting this place again for a family gathering.

Quiet, rustic, and relaxing

The host & hostess wanted to make sure we had a great visit, which we did. We had ample space and lots to do even tho we were isolated from the hustle and bustle (which is exactly what we wanted) of the world for the weekend. Saw nature at its finest with a hike through the woods and the deer venturing out at dusk. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend time with your family and/or friends.

An ideal place for the ages of our kids and grandkids.. Spent all day in the lake the first day and riding trails for older kids. Found some geodes. The time flew by.

This cabin was amazing! Plenty of room and activities for the whole family. Chris was very helpful and answered all of my questions I had. We had a great time defenetly will be back next year.

I went to this place with a group of 40 people and had plenty of room for all of us to hang out and never felt crowded. The place is absolutely amazing and I am telling everyone I know about the place.

Over all my stay at the Bradshaws Cabin was very great from the view to the decor of the carpet swatches it was beautiful from my view it was a build to look older with modern amenities. It is also great for large groups at a very cheap price per night at most places like this with the amount of people staying in this size of lodge would be over $1000. Overall excellent price and friendly people always available if there is any problems. That's all I have to say hope to come back again recommend for all ages. P.S love the mini blinds and wish the hot tub works they said that it was in the process of be fixed or replaced, great mini golf we set up in the black hoof with tin roof "garage" there lots of good times.

We had an event at this location with 22 people. It was the perfect size for us to use. We will be back in 2015.

My husband and I booked this vacation spot for our combined family (5 children, spouses, and 5 grandchildren) because of it's convenient and secluded location. We all love the outdoors and thought that this would be a great place because of the size and amenities. I can't say enough good things about this lovely vacation spot. We all had the best time and were able to connect / bond in a great way. The grandkids (ages 1 year - 8 years) were absolutely thrilled with the pond which included a small, sandy beach area, dock for fishing and jumping off, and the paddle boat / kayak. The sleeping accommodations were better than we hoped. We all fell in love with the place and hope to go back next year. The kids have already asked if we can add an extra day next year. Chris was more than welcoming and very gracious. We all enjoyed his stories. Thanks, Chris and the Bradshaw family, for making our vacation so enjoyable!! What wonderful memories we will have forever!

For the few days we where there the children never got bored with the activities that where available. Our family enjoyed the lodge, and the spacious rooms and property. The children enjoyed swimming, fishing, and yard games. We especially enjoyed using the large room with tables for celebrating the family birthdays in as it was large enough to hold the entire family of 40+ people.
