The view is beautiful the cabin layout good the bears site was very close. Mamma and 3 cubs visited very day. but it needs updated. water damage to basement carpet very musty smell. That we were disappointed in. The beds also need updated and bedding. Thank you

Great property and location

Lois was so communicative. Check in was easy. Property was super clean. Instructions were clear. Property is set up beautifully for multiple families. Rustic but modern and stunning views. Close to the action but far enough away if you’d rather have a non touristy get away. A++++

This home was cozy and had unbelievable views of the mountains! It felt like a bit of a drive into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge but nothing major. We would definitely stay there again!

We had fun, watched movies, played board games, shopped and hiked. Lots of fun!!!

The views from the deck are the high point of this cabin. They are absolutely amazing! We did not use the kitchen area to cook but the entire house was stocked and had what we needed for our stay. It's an extremely nice cabin with country/cabin decor, but if your expecting high end more modern/up to date this isn't your place. It was perfect for us. I've already recommended to friends.

One of the first things we noticed was that the pictures do this place no justice! The view is absolutely beautiful and made it hard to say goodbye. The kitchen was very stocked with utensils and coffee maker with single cup and full pot option was great for our group. Some rooms still have outdated TVs but we didn't mind because it was like taking a step back in time when life was so much simpler. We loved that everyone had their own area to disappear to when not doing group activities. The cabin wasn't hard to find and town wasn't very far away. Cleaning doesn't seem like a top priority with the housekeeper, nothing too crazy but we found trash and clothing items under beds. Other than that it was clean everywhere else. Overall I'm sure we'll be back! My husband and I have come to Tennessee many times and this cabin was one of our favorites!

I was pleased with my stay. The area and the mountains were simply breathtaking.

My family and I had such a wonderful relaxing getaway from home. This mini vacation has brought us together In ways that we didn't think was possible. We even got to see Momma Bear and her 3 cubs one morning during breakfast.

The property was exactly as described but pictures on-site does not do it justice.

All in all the property was outstanding. Plenty of room for all four of us. Quiet area and view were great. Spent six days at the property. Would stay again if back in the area.

Was a beautiful stay, bears came to the door!

Cabin was in great location with beautiful mountain view. About 15-20 minutes to downtown. Plenty of space and supplies in home to get us started with vacation. Instructions on home and area brochures available on arrival.. We saw bears almost everyday. It was relaxing to sit on deck with view facing mountains. We brought our own portable grill. A/C worked fine with extra unit in loft. Liked that there was bathroom on each level. We had great time. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful view and cabin! The host was fantastic and not far of a drive to everything. So quite and peaceful as well!

Folks, the view really is nothing short of spectacular. The space in each room (except small kitchen) made it easy on everyone in our party. Very cozy and living room furniture and beds were comfortable. The pool table was in good shape but we were glad we took our own pool sticks. Ceiling fans in most rooms but not in bonus room. Large washer and dryer. We did not use the hot tub. Parking was easy in and out. Here is list of more pros and cons: Pros: 1. easy to find - GPS took us right to location- roads well kept 2. spacious - all rooms and bathrooms spacious 3. well stocked with cooking pots and utensils (note: bring own sharp knives) 4. beds very comfortable 5. bears - we had a momma & 3 cubs visit our deck Cons: 1. no grill - I realize it is being fixed, but we had counted on it for cooking in this heat and main reason for 4 stars 2. AC will not stay below 75 during day (this is during July) - so warm in house 3. tiny showers 4. we felt this was clean in areas like baths and beds, but definitely dusty on things like entertainment center and other places easy to reach. 5. some small repairs needed - ex. closet door came off when we just pulled open 6. yes the main room tv is outdated. While that did not really affect me, it bothered my IT husband.

We have stayed in many cabins around the country. Everybody voted this one the nicest. Everything we needed and no problems. Gerald the bear did not dissappoint...but we found out that Gerald is Geraldine...she brought her 3 cubs along for the visit to the deck. They visited us 2 mornings...best part of the vaca. Pool was nice and not crowded. Not easy to find but worth the hunt.

We had a great time at Heavenly View! The name is fitting. The space was bigger than expected and the cabin itself was fairly secluded. There’s one neighbor close by, but you can’t hardly see unless you walk out to the drive/road. Our family had a great time and would come back to stay if we’re in Gatlinburg again. We also saw a black bear that pretty much ignored us and made his rounds to see if the trash cans were accessible (they weren’t to his disappointment) and walked to the cabin below. The only thing we had a scare with is when it was raining and coming back we could barely see going up the road to the cabin - so be very careful because it is a direct drop at each curve with no guard rails, lights or reflectors to see anything (not any fault of the cabin owner, but the neighborhood in general has little to no guardrails or lighting).

The view from this property is amazing. The cabin was clean and comfortable. My family loved playing pool. We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin.

Check in was super easy. The cabin was very nice. It was a lot bigger than the pictures looked. The view was amazing and I love both of the porches. I went with my family and there was plenty of room for all of us and a bathroom on each floor was amazing. Everyone took a turn in the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom and it was so relaxing. We got to see a bear, I was so excited!!! It came straight on the porch without us noticing and it did not try to hurt anyone. We just got in the cabin when we seen it. It wandered around for a bit and then went on its way. I was very adamant to everyone to lock the house doors and latch the hot tub of the night and to make sure windows are rolled up and car doors locked. We did not expect the bear to come during the day so my moms window was down and it crawled in her van 😂 the neighbors were nice and no one was overly loud. We cooked a meal there every night and the kitchen was stocked with every dish we could need and a dishwasher for easy clean up. Overall we had a heavenly experience with heavenly view. The description said $195 a night and I was kinda concerned at first because the charge was $225 a night but it was worth every penny!

I have a mixed feelings about this property. Pros: - VIEWS! - beautiful views of the mountains in the national park. We loved sitting out on the deck and in the hot tub and gazing at the mountains and the various types of weather that passed through during the week. - Spacious - the amount of room we had was perfect for our group (3 adults and 4 kids). 3 floors provided a space for the kids to play and watch tv during our down time and comfy couches on the main floor for the adults. - not in Gatlinburg - we enjoyed the fact the we were not close to Gatlinburg. It was a bit too touristy for us and we were there for the mountains and hiking. We had access to a park entrance just east of the cabin and we found some great hikes and waterfalls from there. CONS: - DUST and grossness - this cabin is not for the dust and dirt averse. It was DIRTY! The place hasn't been properly cleaned in YEARS! There's a thick layer of dust on so many surfaces. We were afraid to turn on the overhead fans for fear of a shower of the thick dust coating them. Don't look under the bed it will give you the icks. We found random socks, underwear and SO MANY BUGS! It was clear that the housekeeper was doing just the bare minimum. - MUSTY - the place had a musty smell and it clung to all our stuff. I washed many of our clothes the day before we left trying to get ahead for when we got home but I had to rewash it when we arrived home because it just stunk. - Front doors don't seal - we had a rainstorm and we could feel large gusts of wind coming from around the door and rain was actually coming in with the gusts. We had to plug the holes with paper towels and this wind kept blowing them back out. - Hot tub - the owner states that the water is changed after each guest but it was so cloudy and we aren't sure that it actually got changed. Could be the chemicals were off...? - Not enough supplies - everywhere else we've stayed we had enough garbage bags, toilet paper and dishwasher detergent for our entire stay. Not here. After contacting the owner she told us that the "welcome document" stated that we would have only 2 days supply. We never received a welcome document containing that information. - Access - we never received access information through the proper channels. I reached out to Lois prior to our visit because of fires in the area. She called me back and left a voicemail about the fires and also our access code. If not for the fire we wouldn't have had the code.

It was a great experience from start to finish, we have been coming for years and this was a top 5 find.

We were in town for a Soccer tournament at Rocky Top Sports. This location was perfect and the house had everything we needed! My Grandson loved the hot tub after the games. We saw our first ever bear on our way to one of the games. He was just standing right in the middle of the road.

This cabin was perfect for my husband, two kids and son-n-law. There was plenty of room to spread out, the cabin had all the amenities we needed and was just a quick drive to the national park.

Wonderful property, exactly as described. Saw a momma bear and cub as we were coming in. Plenty of room for us 3 couples, private for everyone even the more open loft. We all had dinner at the large dining room table. 10/10 will absolutely stay here again in the future. IF I had one want, it would be a mini fridge near the bar in the lower level. Only problem was the stay wasn’t long enough

Everything was awesome… location, view, price. Would definitely book again.
