Whale on main war für uns der perfekte erste Stop unserer Südafrika Reise! Wir wurden von den beiden Gastgebern Zeno & Marlene mehr als herzlich empfangen und haben uns ab der ersten Sekunde super wohl und zu Besuch bei guten Freunden gefühlt. Die beiden stecken sehr viel Herzblut und Leidenschaft in ihr B&B und das merkt man sofort. Wir haben von Zeno täglich super Tipps und Empfehlungen erhalten und wurden sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit betreut! Das Frühstück ist jeden Morgen liebevoll zubereitet, frisch und sehr lecker. Das Zimmer und Badezimmer sehr geräumig und sauber. Das gesamte Anwesen sehr gepflegt, sicher und schön gelegen - außerdem gibt es einen Parkplatz auf dem Gelände. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Hermanus sehr genossen, einige Wale vom Cliff Path (direkt gegenüber der Unterkunft) beobachten können und freuen uns darauf, die beiden hier irgendwann nochmal zu besuchen. Ein riesiges Lob und eine sehr große Empfehlung!

Super clean accommodation, modern with a very personal touch of the owner couple. They are going the extra mile, lovely, heartwarming people with a great sense for hospitality. This is the place to stay when in Hermanus. Only 2 minutes walking to the cliffpath from where it is possible to watch the whales in the bay

Very lovely place in the middle of Hermanus. Marlene and Zeno are very kind hosts and polite. The breakfast was amazing. It will definitely be my first choice in Harmanus.

The hosts were incredible, the home cooked breakfast was perfect to start the day and the accommodation was homely!

Cute little Guest House with two fabolous owners who did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They even did our laundry for us (we only stayed overnight) and did everything to provide me vegan breakfast choices. Loved the big room and the wonderful shower.

Wonderful modern B&B! Room was exceptionally comfortable with kingsize bed, balcony and amazing view! Zeno made us feel home straight away, giving us lots of nice tips about Hermanus. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked every morning (I especially loved the mushrooms). You can do very nice walks along the coast and in the mountains close by. We even saw some brydes whales!

Such a perfect location, walking distance from the heart of Hermanus. The cliff walk is across the street and you can get anywhere from there. Our hosts were so very helpful when we found out that we had accidentally double booked ourselves because of a connection glitch with the app. They were able to guide us in cancelling the duplicate reservation and followed up to be sure the entire refund came through. A fabulous breakfast too! You will love it here!

We loved the hosts, Zeno & Marlene. Very nice tips for restaurants and things to do all around Hermanus. The room was very nice and clean! Very well working wifi connection and very well located. Right across the road of the cliff path trail.

Not many people can prepare a poached egg perfect. These eggs were perfect. The food was well presended and tastefull. I can understand why Marlene wouldn't share her mushroom recipe. They went out of their way to accomodate changes in menu due to allergies

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfy and the breakfast was great! The Whale is a short walk along the coast to restaurants/ shops and it was easy to get around.

Blackout curtains would have been good (but that's only because I'm not the best sleeper).

We had a really great stay. The rooms were spacy and comfortable and everything was very clean. The host was just so friendly and helpful! But the highlight was definitely the breakfast!
