Beautiful home, right on the ocean. Couldn't have asked for more. Well equipped, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, upmarket appliances, crockery, cutlery, etc. Everything you need for a wonderful holiday.

To say the property absolutely exceeded any expectations we had beforehand would be a huge understatement. It truly is a special and magic place where to spend your time. The pictures online don’t do justice to the beauty of the house, the majestic views from the patio and the sound of the ocean right by your side. The communication with the owners has been flawless at all times and they went out of their way more than once with providing information about the house and local tips to make the most of your time in Hermanus. The house itself is very big and comfortable, sparkling clean and beautifully decorated, it made us feel at home right away! The kitchen is modern and functional with everything you need to prepare your meals, the dishwasher is also a great feature as much as the flat screen with Netflix and the super fast Wi-Fi. The bedroom is huge and the king size bed is very, very comfortable..it feels like sleeping on a cloud. Two bathrooms are also quite a luxury..we were just with the two of us but I imagine this house would be extremely well suited for a bigger family (there are two more bedrooms, one with double bed and one with a bunk bed). The area outside is a real gem, just a few meters from the ocean there is a big table and the possibility to do a bbq on the patio; we didn’t do that but we definitely spent a long time just sitting in front of the ocean drinking a glass of wine and recharging our batteries with the sound of the crushing waves. The area is extremely safe and comfortable, constantly patrolled by security which made us feel quite at ease at all times. All in all this has been an absolutely priceless place to spend our last few days in Hermanus and we warmly recommend this house to anyone else. We already can’t wait to go back.

The location was amazing, the views were amazing
The house was extremely filthy. No one cleans the showers its onmy wiped down and very grimy. We swept everyday and noticed the carpets are never being cleaned nor is the place being swept. It looms like the bedding was not changed either. We didnt even have dish cloths, we had to ask for them.and fir a mop and were given a filthy black mop

The most amazing view with whales most days and dolphins on another. Has most things that you need. Nice braai area.
Better to use the private road as the other access road does give one an initial shock but the place more than makes up for it.

Accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped for self-catering. Views were wonderful and complex felt safe and seemed well taken care of. Staff and security on site were friendly and helpful.
Our only concern is that access to the resort is through an informal settlement, which is now built up right until the resort entrance. This did not affect our sense of safety but may cause some concern for visitors, especially when arriving or leaving at night.

Lovely view, cosy and well equipped! Something that might need attention, is the water leaking through the fireplace as well as the absence of safety locks on sliding doors. Although it was a cold and wet weekend, we enjoyed our stay very much!

3. Fridge not functioning - communicated this to Frikkie but he forgot to come when he said he was going to - there was no ice tray anywhere either so we had warm drinks. This really had a dampener on our stay as it’s a basic requirement and the cost of the stay should ensure basic facilities are working

1 towel per guest for 5 guests for 4 nights is a bit Lean
Too little toilet paper and no refuse bags
Maybe encourage guests to bring along additional . Meant we forced to buy at the expensive convenience store on location

I liked everything about the house. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The view and relaxation was the very best part of the house. The beds and couches is very comfy. The braai facilities ia also very good.
If there must be something wrong to say it could be that the lights in the kitchen did not work. But there was other light, so we did not need more light. We really loved the house.
