Linda's beautiful home is the perfect vacation getaway. The personal touches throughout the house make it such a special place to stay. It's comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything we needed and more. Linda is lovely and left us a very thoughtful gift basket. We will definitely be back!

Eight of us (four adults and four kids) had a stellar time here the week before Christmas 2023. The cabin was very welcoming - extremely clean, homey and well stocked. You can tell the owners genuinely care and don't just treat the place as a cash cow. Lots of modern updates including a tankless water heater meant that no one had to take a cold shower or skip one all together (an experience we had at a previous rental) and the well-stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room and DVD collection too! The neighborhood is remote enough that it's perfectly quiet and relaxing, but it's still close enough to town that grocery shopping or hitting a local restaurant didn't feel like a trek at all. We got some light rain during our stay but road conditions were pretty much optimal. I noted that there were no steep inclines that might have been challenging in snowy or icy conditions and having had some bad experiences with things like that in the past, it's definitely something I think about. This place is great and we fully expect to be back, hopefully soon!

We loved staying at this cabin! We visit big bear once a year, for the last ten years, and this was our favorite rental thus far. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The host provided all “hotel-like” goodies such as welcome basket, tooth brush, make up remover pads etc. The cabin was meticulously labeled so it was very easy to figure out where things were in the kitchen, where to turn on lights etc. This rental came with plenty of linens, pillows, blankets and towels, which can sometimes be lacking in a VRBO rental. Our host was easy to work with and very communicative. We hope to stay at this cabin again.

The cabin felt like a home with all the amenities and more. We were made to feel so welcome. The house was so clean, spacious and everything has a warm feeling. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the neighbors were spaced out. The game room really brought us all together and there were lots of fun things to do. We have stayed in Big Bear every summer for the past 20+ years, and this is by far my favorite cabin. The owner was so kind and made us feel like family. The communication was amazing and everything exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do the home justice, since there was more room than it appeared. We signed the guest book and can't wait to return!

Don't bother perusing other cabins. BOOK THIS PLACE! This spacious cabin can fit up to 9 people, and is incredibly comfortable cozy, and is located in a prime neighborhood- just minutes away from Boulder Bay Park. I can't say enough about the host, Linda, who makes you feel welcome and excited from the minute you book the cabin. My family came to Big Bear to celebrate my dad's birthday, and Linda went above and beyond to make the place feel celebratory and special. She put up a HBD banner, left us a gift basket, and a little bday cake! Linda is incredibly responsive and will do her best to accommodate you to ensure you have the best stay. This cabin has everything you need: board games, complete kitchenware, Netflix, essential toiletries, and bbq grills. Just bring yourselves and get ready for a home away from home coziness!

This cabin feels like you're staying in a home. 💖 I can tell that a lot of good memories have been made here and I'm so glad my family was able to make some of our own while on our trip to beautiful Big Bear. Linda went above and beyond as a host, my daughter left her lanyard with keys and debit cards behind, Linda mailed it to us at no cost. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this cabin or Linda! From the moment I booked, Linda was kind, responsive, and generous. The cabin is gorgeous and the neighborhood was quiet and absolutely lovely! There was a thoughtful gift basket, tailored specifically for us! Linda is THE BEST and went out of her way to make our stay amazing, including communicating with all of the neighbors to see who had the best sledding hill. We would be thrilled to stay again!

Adorable cabin on the outside. Incredibly charming and cozy on the inside. The photos do not do it justice. It is much more updated than shown on the website, and cozy in a contemporary way - with pillows and blankets galore - to allow you to settle in. The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could imagine. The game room in the garage was a blast for my 10 yr old, as well as the teenage girls celebrating a big birthday. It even allowed my husband somewhere to escape. The shed stocked with sleds, a snowball maker, etc was also a hit with the family. Linda and the Hensley family were amazing hosts. The thoughtful little treats for guests and enthusiasm for our arrival made this trip feel even more "homey." We can't wait to return - maybe we will give the summer a try next time.

The pictures don't do this cabin justice! The cabin was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and it was so organized! My family and I had an amazing time and this cabin made our weekend getaway so much more special. Linda is so easy to communite with, so responsive and she even left us some yummy treats! The home was beautiful - the online photos really don't do it justice - it was MUCH better than we expected. So many different things to do at the home too - from TV & DVDs, to bikes, horseshoes, foosball, billiards, board games, darts, etc. And the kitchen is extremely well stocked - everything and more that you would ever need! Owner was very good at communicating and answering questions quickly! Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

We had such a great time at this cabin!!! It was so cozy comfortable clean all the things you could hope for in a home away from home. This is the first experience we have ever had where we felt the owners cared that we were staying at their vacation home & wanted to make us feel welcome & make great memories. The owners went above & beyond & we definitely hope to come back! We stayed a few days with our party of 7 with the youngest being 14. It was perfect for us. Great cabin, book it you won’t regret it!

Great location! Very clean and roomy, the bonus playroom in the garage was awesome for the kids. The owner was super sweet. She went above and beyond with little treats for the family and great communication.

This was our second time renting from Linda and she was again the most gracious and welcoming owner. The house is clean and cozy and in a great location.

From the pictures the cabin looked nice. But in person it was even better than we expected! There were a lot of nice touches that made you feel comfortable and not want to leave. Linda was very kind and went out of her way to make us feel at home. If we ever come to Big Bear again, we would love to stay here again.

Better in person. I’ve taken the family to getaways in the past and there’s places that feel like rentals, this cabin feels like a home! It’s decorated very nicely and the upgrades are the same you would do for your own home. Very comfortable, family friendly, clean, and everyone loved it.

I can't say enough about this house. It was the best we have rented in a long time. And we rent often. I like short get a ways. Check in was easy, commucation with the owner was fast and very friendly. The house was clean, and spacious. There was a welcome basket left for my family. My family enjoyed our stay with our children in the beautiful, we’ll kept home with plenty of room and rooms. Our children loved the bunk beds and toys. There is also a primary bedroom with a balcony that has a view of the lake. The garage was an awesome addition to our stay because it provided a lot of entertainment to our kids and myself. I would definitely stay here again because it’s close to a lot of Big Bear attractions. Thank you for the hospitality to our host.

Spacious and cleanliness than most we’ve stayed at. Only a short walk to the beach. Recs/activities are available but we never had a chance to use them as we were mostly out and about.

We were looking for a cabin to take our grandchildren to for a family getaway. The location was close to marina, restaurants and Boulder bay Park. The cabin was perfect and had many amenities for the grandchildren to enjoy. Bumper pool, ping pong, darts, board games, horseshoes. The host was absolutely perfect! Plenty of communication, a great welcome basket upon our arrival tailored for our particular family, and lots of information and ideas for things to do in the area were provided by check in host, Stacey! Fully stocked kitchen with appliances and kitchen essentials too. We literally just needed to buy food if we decided to cook. I would definitely recommend this cabin and host! We had a great family getaway with our grandchildren (without their parents :) ). The grandchildren ranged in ages from 20 to 4 and all loved the cabin and location!

Great property. Walkable neighborhood for exercise. Great game room inside (previously garage) and horseshoes in backyard. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Cozy house. Marinas, restaurants and outdoor activities within a short drive. Our family has stayed at this location twice, and would definitely consider doing so again.
