This was the second time this year that we stayed at the place, each time for two weeks, so we obviously liked it.

We loved this spic and span home! The beds are really comfortable, all basic needs supplied. The house is in a charming, quiet street with easy parking but a short walk to stores. Our host Robert very responsive. Great find.

We appreciated the very welcoming little extras Robert provided, as well as the proximity to Solano.

Great location, extremely comfortable house. I felt as though i was in my home, being that i live in a craftsman. I loved everything about the house. Well maintained and clean. I would stay there again. Great neighborhood and made it easy to walk about town for everything.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert’s place. It’s located on a quiet tree-lined street in Albany, and had just the right amount of space for our family of 3. It was very clean and kitchen was well-appointed for cooking meals. Will definitely stay again

Spacious, comfortable older home in a great location

We came in from Massachusetts for a long weekend to visit our daughter at Cal. Plenty of space for our family of four. Kitchen was perfectly equipped for me to cook a few of her favorite meals. Location was excellent and absolutely no hassles. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Clean and neat!

This is a very pleasant home in a delightful neighborhood. Owner was very responsive over e-mail. We were always able to find a parking space next to the house. Others have written plenty about the property, so I will focus on the location. We were traveling from Northern VA. Lyft XL from SFO cost about $100 plus tip. You could take the BART, but it would take about an hour and cost around $10 per person for one-way. House itself is about a 35 minute walk to the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station and about a 35 minute walk to the UC-Berkeley campus. Both are lovely walks through local neighborhoods -- we felt very safe. We rented a car from the Budget on Kitteridge Street in Berkeley and that was about a 35 minute walk, so very convenient. Solano Ave. has tons of shops and restaurants, which is great -- including a neighborhood Safeway and CVS. An Arco gas station was not far (about an 8 minute drive). Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Only 1 block from Solano with shops and market. Plenty of room for the 4 of us to spread out, very comfortable, good wifi, would def stay again!

Stay was for 3 weeks. Clean and well equipped house. Location perfect as a block from Solano. Owner available to answer questions, although we had very few. Would definitely stay here again.

Rental is very comfortable and clean. Lots of kitchen and bathroom essentials provided. Location is convenient to Solano without being busy or noisy.

Cute little home, could use an update and more comfortable furniture in the living room, but the beds were very comfortable, and it is a quiet neighborhood - very convenient. Owner very responsive to issues, particularly cleaning as the service did not do a very good job prior to our arrival.

We immediately felt at home in this well-appointed, well-cared for house. High quality linens, plenty of towels, washer/dryer, lots of light, quiet neighborhood, located close to a well-known and beloved shopping area. We look forward to coming back!

Great location, wonderful house.

We are a family of four who stayed here for four nights while visiting our family who live in Albany. It was quiet, clean, and very conveniently located. Communicating with the owner was very easy, we had no problems at all. I would stay here again next time we are visiting.

Fine property. Dated to be sure, but comfortable. Kitchen is very basic. Few dishes/glasses etc, but nice enough if you don't plan to prepare a significant meal or entertain. Could not get on-line.

This house was perfect for us. Our children are in the Bay area and I've been looking for a place to stay. This is it. Lovely super clean stucco house in a quiet tree lined street near Salino where you can find anything you need. Beautiful feeling to the house, antique looking furniture, a brass bed! and a nice sized dining room. All the linen you need and a fully stocked kitchen. Robert the owner is on site and very responsive. Thank you Robert! My only suggestions are a hair dryer for the ladies and directions for the TV. Oh, there an amazing massage chair. I highly recommend this place - easy 5 stars.

I was there for work for a quick weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood but amongst lots of store, coffee shops, and convenience stores! The house was very clean with a nice scent. The best feature is the massage chair! It was a treat to sit in it after a long day at work. If we ever make it over to that area again we will be for sure staying here again.

We enjoyed this house very much. The place was very convenient and safe. Safeway is located in just 5 min walk. Basic kitchen stuff, linen, bath tissues were all provided.

This little house was close to Solano, making it possible to shop on foot or explore the shops and restaurants. It is clean and well taken care of. It would have been nice to have a dishtowel and perhaps a sponge.

A touch too old to receive a 5 stars rating. Everything was very clean and as mentioned in the description. Very nice location - shopping and dinning within walking distance. Unfortunately we found out to late. We had two minor problems and the owner took care immediately without any hesitation. Definitely we would go there again. Family from Germany

A nice house in a pretty neighborhood, just a couple minutes' walk from Solano Avenue's interesting restaurants and shops. The El Cerrito BART station is about a half-hour walk away. We enjoyed the house and the neighborhood.
