We very much enjoyed our stay at Rick and Lynne’s home. With two young kids, it was important for us to find a kid friendly house and their place had everything you need and more to offer. It was truly home away from home kind of experience. Furthermore, Rick and Lynne even went above and beyond to help us by driving down some of our stuff that wouldn’t fit in our rental car to our next hotel location.

This was our second time staying at the property for some of us. The house is well furnished both for small children and for our group of five 55+ siblings and a spouse. We appreciate the warmth and helpfulness of hosts Lynne and Rick who are 100% respectful of our privacy. We hope to return for another stay and will recommend this VRBO to our cousins who also visit Santa Barbara.

This is our second time staying here. We loved our first stay, even more our second, and we are confident we will be back. This house is fully equipped and is great for a solo trip, couples but even better for a family. The house is comfortable, has AC, great amenities, toys and books for kids, beach towels, tv… The house is in a quiet location, and even though the hosts live at backyard cottage, it felt very private. We personally love saying hi to them. They are knowledgeable, kind and always available. The backyard is spacious and has a lovely fireplace. We enjoy grabbing a sip of wine at the end of the day and making s’mores with our daughter.

This house is a gem for a great visit to Santa Barbara or Goleta. Very nice living space for a dinner party - we were very comfortable with a group of six. The bedrooms are just as described and beds are comfortable. House was very clean and appliances are excellent. We did not meet the hosts but they were most helpful with a couple of questions and responded quickly. We had a great time and had no complaints. Thank you, Rick and Lynn for helping us have a fun San Marcos reunion!

I can't use enough adjectives to describe how wonderful it was to stay at Rick and Lynne's place. We were a party of 6, with two small children. The home is supremely well-equipped, immaculately clean, and simultaneously a children's delight and child-proof. It's welcoming and homey, decorated in bright colors with interesting touches and yet totally comfortable. Even better, the spirit of the home invites relaxation and joy. We were in Santa Barbara for our son's wedding, which meant there were a lot of activities on the weekend. The home made it possible for us to be on the go and then come back to a cocoon of rest and beauty. I don't think we would have had such a magical weekend without this respite. You'll be just as satisfied as we were! It will be our Santa Barbara go-to from now on.

Great at communication. Emailed everything we possibly need to know and expect from the stay to the check-in and making sure that our stay is comfortable with our 14 months old baby! Provided us with toys. Our baby didn't really play with them but enjoyed the children's books also available for use. Even provided us with a pack and play without us asking for one. The property is a little small drive to State street but we were also going to Solvang so the property worked out for us. We would definitely recommend you staying here with family and friends.

Fantastic house! Wonderful neighborhood, we had all the amenities, backyard was beautifully. Our hosts were very gracious. We would definitely come back in the future!!

This home was the perfect place to "land" following our late night arrival at the Santa Barbara airport. We were a family group of 3 adults in town to spend time with our aunt and cousins and to enjoy a 6-day break from East Coast winter weather. We used the third bedroom to host California out-of-town friends including one traveling with her small dog. Our hosts, Rick and Lynne, were very helpful both before and during our visit as well as generous with oranges, lemons and passion fruit from their garden! The location is residential and quiet, yet very convenient to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the airport. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Rick and Lynne are amazing hosts! We absolutely loved our time in their immaculate, comfortable home. They were very helpful with anything we needed during our stay and allowed us our privacy too. Their home was the perfect backdrop to a much needed time with our adult children. We loved the living space and the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely be back again!

It was a nice, quiet home. It was about a 10-15 easy drive to Santa Barbara wharf. The home is well stocked and very comfortable. The owners were very helpful and communicative. The owners are on the property in a cottage in the backyard. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

It was a short walk/run to get on the trail that leads all the way down to the Goleta Beach (approximately 3 miles), short drive to the 101, shopping, and downtown SB. We had a very lovely stay at this property, and would absolutely book it again. The house was clean and comfortable and situated in a quiet neighborhood next to walking and bike paths. It is also updated with newer amenities/appliances and a newer central air system with both heat and AC (a must for us!). At first, I was a little stressed that the owners were on site, but Rick and Lynn were so very friendly and kind that this became a non-issue. They definitely gave us our privacy, but we all enjoyed chatting as well. The yard is very cute and spacious with outdoor seating, and it’s fully enclosed with high fences. It was perfect for our Aussie and Chihuahua. We hope to stay again in the near future!
