Excellent location. The kitchen was well equipped , bedrooms spacious and comfortable.

We stayed for my son’s wedding. It was perfect and close to everything I would, for sure stay again. Great kitchen, great bedrooms the extra little bungalow was perfect for my son and his girlfriend property was perfect. We walked to the beach and several restaurants. All of the restaurants had great customer service and food was delicious. I would pick this place for sure to stay again.

Beautiful property close to beach. Well maintained and clean. Very spacious living space and bedrooms, but be aware that the third bedroom is in a separate structure so may not be appropriate if bedroom needed for young children or their parents. Parking very convenient, but must be skilled enough to back out a long narrow driveway uphill. No problem for us,but might be a concern to some. Overall, a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home!

This was a great place for 3 couples. Close to the beach, wine tasting shopping. Highly recommend it!

The house was a lot bigger and more spacious than we expected. We were a group of 5 and loved that everything was walkable (beach, restaurants, bars).

West Beach home was perfect for our needs. Clean, roomy, comfortable, updated, and in a quiet, safe neighborhood - everything we sought for a Christmas get-away. Started with arriving after midnight due to travel and finding all we needed for the morning - coffee, filters, tea... THANK YOU! Two blocks to the beach, a neighborhood market within blocks, and an easy walk to Chad's, Jeannine's, and lot of restaurants. Check-in and access could not have been easier and owner was able (and willing) to accommodate us for an extra night when travel was still delayed. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was as pictured with nice amenities. The location was perfect: easy walking distance to everything. We would absolutely stay here again. The staff was very responsive when we had a small issue with a lock and they resolved it quickly. We were a little concerned about not having AC because we are from the East Coast where summers are very hot, but we were quite comfortable. We ran the portable AC units only twice, and only for a short period to cool down the rooms at the end of the day. We also cooked one night on the grill and ate on the lovely patio. Great unit for a family!

What an amazing rental!! It was open and airy and so comfortable for our family! I will definitely rent this place again!

We were here for a family wedding and the location was perfect. The house was wonderful! Nothing could have been better.

Our extended family of 5 adults and 1 teen enjoyed our 4-night stay in this lovely home. Spotless and fully equipped with all we needed. We BBQ'd every night and ate on the picturesque deck. Everyone slept on comfy beds with luxurious linens. We took the wagon to the beach several times - just a couple of blocks away! All in all a great time away together!

We were two couples sharing the space on the bottom first floor. It was a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Had issues with a couple of things in the home and property management was very attentive and responded quickly. The four us renting have some feedback that I hope doesn’t come across as negative and will be accepted as constructive feedback to make the place even better. All fans are desperate need of cleaning (blades on all were quite dusty), outdoor cushions need replacing, a regular size ironing board vs. a small table top one would be much more convenient especially when ironing large items. The most unfortunate part was the noise from the young family above which was quite disturbing. We woken early every morning with small feet running back and forth and dropped items which was really loud and startling. A suggestion would be to have an age restriction for families with young children renting the top floor. It would help for people below to have a relaxing vacation as well. My fault... I didn't know it was a two family until after I paid the deposit so didn't want to forfeit any money to chancel.

The location is amazing, we could walk to the Funk Zone and lower State St. There is another renter above the main house and it is very easy to hear people walking above, not quiet at all, especially at night. Definitely not as “stocked” as the listing claims (glad I brought my own baking sheet, we needed a mixer or whisk to make a boxed cake mix for a bday but we had to use an old and smoking blender, very little Kleenex so we had to buy more right away). Not very clean. The floor plan is nice and the location is great, but probably would not stay here again because there are other options in the same area.

We really enjoyed staying at this downstairs portion of a duplex. It's only 3-4 blocks from the beach and the shops. My only complaint is not with the VRBO, but SB/CA- the homeless crisis is out of hand in this town. We had to step over homeless people on the sidewalk. Then really late one night, a homeless man rooted through all of our trash- on private property- which woke us up.

Public walkway along the side of the building with people yelling late at night and getting sick (barfing) in the early morning. Broken ironing board, floors need a good cleaning one electronic door lock failed twice.

We were a group of six adults. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Plenty of common areas to gather, both indoors and outdoors. Walkable to Stearns Wharf, State Street, and many restaurants. We had a marvelous stay- location is outstanding and availability of casita worked great in our family. Very comfortable and equipped with all we needed.

Good area to all amenities and areas of Santa Barbara. Although was told it had a deep clean the property was dirty behind all furniture, socks of previous occupants found under beds, toys behind couch and lots of dust. One of the beds had a screw missing which meant my son had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. Noisy as near train line, first train comes early. Can hear people walking around above disturbing especially at night.
