An excellent place to stay! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any rental I’ve stayed. Deck and view of the lake was amazing I would highly recommend it for a family gathering.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We spent a lot of time on the large deck and our extended family was comfortable with the multiple beds that allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner promptly responded to any questions we had during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Family of 5 adults enjoying the fantastic view from the vaulted living-room! Plenty of space with each individual/couple having a bedroom and bath. Our hostess, Karen, was attentive with all our requests! Will stay there again!

This beautiful house overlooking Shadow Mountain exceeded our expectations. The owners have gone above and beyond to stock the kitchen with everything you would need for meals. In addition, the linens were quality and the bedrooms were nicely appointed in cabin/mountain decor.
The space was awesome and felt very cozy! We will definitely return!

This is the kind of house the makes you go “wowww” when you first walk in the door. View is spectacular!
The house was amazing. Set up perfectly with everything you could think of and more. Randy and Karen were super communicable and were always just an email away. Check out the Trail Ridge Marina across the street for dog-friendly boat rentals and real good times.
The fam and the pups had an absolute blast and are already talking/barking about the next trip to Shadow Mountain Lake. Thanks for a great time!

Wonderful views of Shadow Mountain lake. This is an extremely well maintained and well stocked house. Karen the host was very attentive to making sure we arrived and got into the house with no problems. A real find.

Grand Lake Christmas Stay
Our family (11 of us) opted to head to CO for a white Christmas. Our house was just as it was advertised and the owners were incredible to work with. Very responsive and helpful, we were very pleased with them, the house and the views.

Unbelievable Views
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The home was very well stocked, spacious and in a great location. Breathe taking views and great proximity to hiking trails. The owners were very friendly and provided such great information about the area.

House for Celebrating
As a family we were celebrating 3 birthdays and a big wedding anniversary. We wanted lots of space and views to stay home for and we got it all. The kitchen was very well equipped to even include a crock pot and waffle maker! The beds and linens were exceptional and the best we have experienced in rental properties. Easy short drive into Grand Lake but really enjoyed the house and the views from the very large decks, with hummingbirds a bonus. We found the home better than advertised.

Beautiful House & Views
This was a perfect place to stay for our extended family gathering. The house has a great main living area for everyone to gather with 2-story windows and amazing views of the lake. The bedrooms are comfortable and have plenty of space, and the kitchen is well-appointed. It's also a very convenient location...close to town, hiking, and RMNP. I would highly recommend this property to others!

Amazing Property and an amazing owner
The property was clean and just as depicted! The owners went out of their way to make sure we had room to park as there were 4 pickups and trailers! The home is spacious and welcoming there were 11 in our group and we had plenty of room and beds! Was a great home and owner would highly recommend!!

Wonderful Home even better hosts
We went up over Presidents weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. The view out the windows is really amazing and the house is by far the most well stocked house for kitchen items, towels, linens, pillows, blankets etc. any of us had ever stayed at and I'm guessing we've stayed at close to 30 VRBO's between the two families. We had 9 people and had plenty of space for sleeping, eating and relaxing. The hosts communication was wonderful and truly a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back at some point in the future.

Wonderful vacation home with a stunning view of the lake
We want to extend our gratitude to Karen and Randy for being such wonderful hosts. The house was just perfect for our family getaway. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, which after receiving a foot of snow overnight, gave us a perfect venue for snowshoeing. And the views from the house were absolutely stunning. The home was very well equipped - the kitchen had everything you could ever need to prepare your favorite vacation feast. Karen was so thoughtful in her communications, providing excellent recommendations for things to do nearby, and even checking in to make sure we were ok during and after the big snow storm. We were sad to leave, and are now looking forward to returning in the summertime. Many thanks to Karen and Randy for giving us such a memorable and much needed vacation!

Just an outstanding experience in Grand Lake!!
I cannot say enough about Karen who is the property owner of this fantastic, beautiful A-Frame home overlooking Shadow Mountain Lake. Karen may have Advanced Customer Service training from the Four Seasons / Disney because she was a spectacular host and so kind and thoughtful. It was an amazing Winter experience in Grand Lake with Karen and her property exceeding our expectations. I wish I could provide a 7-star rating because that is how great this experience was for my wife, kids, and me. Happy 2021 Karen & Randy! Cheers, Stewart

Everything you need!
The house is clean and has plenty of space with an Awesome view of the lake! We only had 4 adults along with out dogs. Location is just a few minutes from town And practically across the street from the marina where we rented a pontoon boat to explore the lakes. I would definitely come again.

Grand Lake house
We had a marvelous week! The house was inviting and cozy! We had ample room since our party was halved because of covid-19. The views were spectacular and the house was located close to everything!

Beautiful cabin
My family and I loved this cabin and the views! Cabin was very clean, had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable, home was spacious. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to the area. If you are headed there in the winter I definitely recommend going tubing at the Fraser tubing place (the Coca Cola one wasn’t as steep or nearly as fun), go snow mobiling!! There’s a few places in the area. We didn’t see any moose, my only complaint lol. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place!!

A wonderful place to spend time with loved ones!
From our initial booking to questions after checkout, Karen and Randy were sooo helpful! The house is beautiful with amazing views of the lake and mountains. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival and there were supplies available to maintain it that way during our week long stay over the holidays. We were all sooo grateful that the owners had decorated the house for Christmas. They basically thought of everything....from having the kitchen stocked, to providing extra blankets and firewood. There was plenty of room for my family of nine to gather together to watch movies and play games in the great room. The house’s mountains decor was charming and cozy. I highly recommend this rental home. Thanks Karen and Randy for making our vacation memorable!

Great Value on Grand Lake
We packed in 11 members of our family and the dog into this property right on Shadow Mountain Lake. Comfortable with a million-dollar view.
Hosts were easy to communicate with and the home had all the basics you need to get started on a long-weekend away from the city.
This home is close to everything!
Be mindful it is right on a road, if a little noise bothers you. Also the main deck is pretty beat up, but it is in the process of being rebuilt so that seems like a short-term problem.
Compared to some of the other lake-front properties that allow dogs (a must for us), this home came in at a reasonable price and hit all our needs. Not perfect, but with a view like this, you don't really need perfect.
