This cottage is everything we wanted for a vacation. Walked to beach and downtown. Great home base for trips to Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon and Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids. The house itself had all that we needed for a great week. We really enjoyed having the large deck. Very comfortable and convenient.

I'm from Grand Haven, grew up there and knew right away this was the perfect location. You can walk to the harbor or downtown in a matter of minutes. The property was super clean and the host was very responsive. We would rent this home again in the future if needed.

I traveled to Grand Haven from Minnesota with my mother and sister to attend a wedding in Coopersville. We enjoyed exploring Grand Haven with the lighthouse, beach, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance to our VRBO. The accommodations were great for us three girls, the property owner was easily accessible, and we have no complaints regarding our stay! Would definitely recommend this property!

This cottage was a great place for our family to use as a base for our vacation activites. It is located in a residential neighborhood which means quiet nights for relaxing and peaceful mornings for getting ready for the day. From going shopping and spending time on the beach in Grand Haven to making day trips to Muskegon for a boat trip or Grand Rapids for visiting the zoo and seeing a baseball game, this cottage was a great base for us to "come home" to every evening. It has all the necessary amenities. There is a fantastic, large back deck for drinking coffee and reading the paper in the morning. The central air conditioning and wi-fi made for pleasant evenings for rejuvenation. A thoroughly enjoyable vacation.

IT WAS CLEAN AND NEAT. WE DID NT DO ANY COOKING AT THE HOUSE. SO MANY RESTAURANTS , WE ENJOYED THE PORCH IN FRONT AND LOVED WALKING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

This house made my family feel like we lived in Grand Haven for a few days instead of just renting there. Excellent neighborhood, very close to the beach life but not right in it. I would certainly rent here again.

This, by far, has been one of the best homes we’ve ever stayed in for vacation. It was tidy, very kid-friendly (loved that there were games, toys, and books for kids!), and the perfect location. Marilyn was also so kind and communicative. Definitely recommend!

This little house was comfortable and cozy. It’s very conveniently located just a block from all the town has to offer. We loved the accessibility to the waterfront as well as restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

I took a 5 day trip to Grand Haven with a friend for a mom’s getaway. The cottage is in the perfect location. We walked to the beach, down town and the river everyday. Great coffee shops, restaurants and shopping nearby. Quiet neighborhood, very safe and clean. The cottage was spotless and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Looking forward to coming back with my family!

House was exactly as described, well stocked and was within blocks of downtown and boardwalk. Pronto Pup is just a block away. My only setback was the steep hill coming back from either downtown or the boardwalk. I definitely got a work out

We visited Grand Haven for a long weekend in September. Harbor Hill Cottage is just two blocks from the river and Snug Harbor riverfront restaurant. It was fun to watch the boats go in and out of the harbor. Downtown was just a four to five-block walk--very convenient. The cottage was cute and clean--plenty of room for just the two of us. We discovered Morning Star restaurant on Washington St. and ate breakfast there each of the three mornings we were there. It was so good and had so many offerings, we had something different and unique each morning. Grand Haven State Park and beach is just blocks from the cottage. One day we rode our bikes to the park and another day we rode along the riverfront. The cottage is in a great location! Marilyn was very informative and made herself available if we needed anything. We would recommend the Harbor Hill Cottage as a very convenient way to see Grand Haven.

It’s like visiting a nicely kept cottage that your family owns. Very clean, well furnished, all needed amenities stove, fridge, AC, cable TV, WIFI, etc... Sits in a very nice colonial neighborhood, very near the beach and downtown. We “will” return. 👍

We had a great time in Grand Haven. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood close to the water and downtown. Very comfortable and clean accommodations. Our only suggestion is a bigger tv in the living room.

The host contacted me before we arrived via text with instructions, they had plans all laid out, and were easily accessed anytime by phone. The place was clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, in a rental. The backyard was cozy and quiet, great front porch for sitting and enjoying the day. It was walking distance to everything, from downtown to the beach. Couldn't of asked for more! Great find and great host - super friendly! *note - not a problem for us because we had our own, but be sure to bring shower toiletries. Just a heads-up.

A well equipped kitchen - good to also have a laundry facility available. The bedrooms could use better lights.

We had a great time in Grand Haven. This cottage/House was big enough for our family of 5 (3 young kids) and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again as it’s location is very close to the action and water.

This was a cute little cottage to spend a nice quite get away for a eerkend. 2 blocks from the beavh about 4 blocks from downtiwn Grand Haven.Excellent choice will do this again. Owner was very nice in explaining how things work and the process of checking in & out!.

My husband and I stayed two nights in this delightful cottage. Close to everything, we never drove our car anywhere! All the necessary amenities, plus a secluded deck in a backyard offering a delightful outdoor space. I could definitely see us staying here again.

My wife and I use Homeaway properties 1 to 3 times a year and this was one of our best experiences. Marilyn was very easy to work with, answering emails very promptly. The property is very nice and one of the cleanest rentals we have used. It is definitely central to all you need in Grand Haven, literally minutes walk from everythibg. One way to the downtown area and musical fountain, the other way take the boardwalk along the channel to the State Park and Lake Michigan. One other thing, keep a close eye on the back yard, we saw deer very close up. Being in a built up residential area we were surprised, but the neighbor advised that the deer are frequent visitors.

So my brothers wedding/reception was happening in Grand Haven. Not many good choices for hotels in grand haven area, so I decided to get creative and check this website out. Many options to choose from! I had about 8 different cottages and homes all within about 10 mile circumference. SO GLAD I went with this adorable little cottage. It came stocked with basically everything we could have needed aside from the obvious of food and drinks. Awesome deck out back and front. Had grill, great little back yard space, lots of privacy, neighborhood was super safe and within walking distance to EVERYTHING (downtown, grand river, and lake Michigan); drive way was big enough to park two cars and street parking was available. Also, the landlord was a pleasure to deal with. They also had a nicely stocked library inside. So very grateful to find this place! I give it a 10 out of 10. You wont be disappointed... and the price was about the same as it would have been if I rented a boring yucky and dirty hotel.
