We had a great time at this location! The barn-like decor and feeling was the perfect environment for a reunion of friends. It is also very close to Annapolis, where we went for an awesome dinner. Definitely recommend.

Loved our stay. The red barn guest cottage has tons of country charm with all of the modern comforts. The property is beautiful. Lots of grass to stroll on and plenty of chairs outside to relax while taking in the outdoors. They had fans setup near the outdoor seating which kept us cool and bug free even in the mid day heat. Location is super convenient with plenty of stores in the surrounding area (grocery, fast food, starbucks, clothing, pet supplies, etc.) Property owner was awesome too. Highly recommend this property.

Hemlock farms is amazing. We had a family reunion and it was the perfect setting. Highly recommend for events or even just a spacious family getaway. Great proximity to everything Annapolis has to offer!

Hosted my daughters baby shower here and it was absolutely perfect. Jennifer was absolutely wonderful and the property is perfectly set up. Many guests complemented on how wonderful the property was. Highly recommend.

Hemlock Farm is a beautiful property and conveniently located to Annapolis. We gathered a small group of friends and family for an intimate wedding ceremony and we couldn’t have been happier with this venue. Jennifer was immensely helpful and accommodating. A great time was had by all!

We spent the week end of New Year’s Eve and our stay was delightful! A huge Christmas tree beautifully decorated made our stay even more magical !

We loved staying in the barn- the space was beautiful. Our one year old son loved running around the huge property and playing on the playground. We made a fire at the fire pit and hung out in the outside sitting area. Lucky this is so close.

This converted barn is gorgeous. We stayed at the property for a quick weekend getaway and it was exactly what we needed. Peaceful, serene, and relaxing. It has all the modern amenities a family needs with plenty of rustic charm. I can imagine smaller kids would find this place to be heaven on earth with the bunk beds, big yard and campfire pit. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely adore Hemlock Farm! We rented the space for a party and couldn't have been more pleased with it. The decor in the house was beautiful, but outside was a real treat. Jen has thought of everything... fire pit, pavilion, playground for kids, corn hole, music, lighting etc... I can't say enough about how accommodating she was and how little we actually had to supply on our own. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue, or even just a place to escape to for the weekend. This is truly a wonderful, hidden gem.

We held our daughter's wedding reception at Hemlock farm and it was PERFECT from beginning to end! Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! We checked in on Wednesday and spent as much time as possible on the property because it is hard to leave! The owner and staff are so friendly and helpful. They answered every question quickly and made our stay very comfortable - we felt like family. I wish we had invited them to the reception. The grounds are very well maintained and the carriage house is beautiful. Again, you feel like you are a guest of the family. Do not miss a chance to stay at Hemlock Farm - you will not be sorry. We are trying to figure out when we can return!

Our wedding took place at the Hemlock Farm the past May, 2014, and both my wife and I were completely satisfied. Not only our guests complimented us for the fantastic place, but Jennifer, the owner, was very available and friendly, completely went out of their way to make things simpler for us (given the tough task of dealing with two brides!!)It was easy to set appointments with her, set deliveries and she gave us complete freedom to decorate the place. Moreover, we felt that we were fairly priced as opposed to many other vendors who tend to take advantage once they hear the word "wedding". Most definitely two thumbs up and highly recommended.

We had our sons graduation party for friends and family here. It had everything and more for us to be able to pull off this event. The owner did not miss a beat in any area and a delight to work with. We look forward to more family events in the future here.

My friends and I loved this adorable barn for our ladies' weekend. The decor of this place is so perfectly thought out and well done. We all agreed we'd like to live there. Although our hosts live on the same property just next door, we did not see them once or feel like we were intruding. They were very easy to work with, booking the house and getting things set for our trip. They even left a thoughtful smores goody basket for us! I would definitely recommend this place!

I stayed here with a group of friends for a fishing trip. We chartered a boat and cooked up our freshly caught fish later that night. We also rented the pavilion which was great for our group. The owners are great to deal with. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with my husband and another couple and we had an amazing time! The property is gorgeous and unique and the owner went above and beyond, keeping great communication throughout our stay. We were lucky enough to have snow while we were there which made our trip that much more festive (though the holiday decorations inside the barn were already wonderful!) Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway, just a short drive into Annapolis. Could not have asked for more!

My husband and I wanted to spend Thanksgiving near our son who works in Annapolis. Together with another (adult) son and a (teen) daughter, the five of us spent four nights here. It was cozy, comfortable, well-equipped, open, and downright fabulous. Modern amenities, such as large gas stove (which handled my Thanksgiving feast), flat-screen TV, internet access, are paired with country decor (beautifully done). It was secluded and yet minutes away from grocery stores and other shopping. Our children loved it.

I booked the Barn for a bachelorette party of six girls and the house really was a great fit for us. The Barn is impeccably decorated with an equestrian theme and is very well maintained (spotlessly clean). The large upper floor served as an area for meals, hanging out, having drinks, etc. We used the Murphy bed and its area as the bride-to-be's suite and she had no complaints about its comfort or privacy. The rest of the girls slept in the bunk beds downstairs (which were actually REALLY comfortable and possibly memory foam mattresses). There is only one bathroom, which was fine for us, but if you come with a larger group, you may want to consider this. Privacy is a bit of an issue for those sleeping in the stall, due to no real bedrooms and doors, but we worked around it with no problems. I would say the best feature of the Barn is the outdoor living space. We spend every night around the fire pit and also enjoyed playing corn hole and other games on the spacious lawn. If you want to be able to walk to old town Annapolis, this isn't the house for you; but it's only about a 5 minute drive from the Barn. We did it several times and were able to find parking every time, so it's easy to get back forth from the restaurants and other sightseeing things. The owners are VERY nice and pretty much leave you to enjoy the Barn. All of the girls thought the Barn was a great choice and several have expressed a desire to rent it again for future events.
