breakfast was nice

the staff was incredibly rude. I’ve never been to a hotel with the inability to be the least bit nice.

What should have been a much needed break turned into a nightmare. After working a long 6 days, my husband and I was able to get a sitter for the night and wanted to enjoy our break. We decided to book a room at this location and went to check in last Saturday after work. We were greeted by what I thought was a very friendly staff member. She asked us appropriate questions, how are you doing, what brings you guys in, etc. Standing at the raised desk, she proceeded to physically ask for my card. I saw the terminal right in front of me, however, it was covered with a large bell and I assumed it was out of order. The front desk proceeded to speak with us while she had my card. My husband tried to cut the conversation short so we could continue our evening but was unsuccessful as she kept talking. All while still having my card. I didn't think anything of it at the time because after the week I had, I enjoyed the conversation. After approximately 10 minutes she finally handed me my card. I didn't receive the payment notification until about 5 mins. later. I thought that was strange as they are usually instant but thought nothing of it. We took our bags in and headed back out. Not even 15 minutes after walking out I received 3 alerts for charges to my card. I immediately froze my card as I did not recognize the transactions. I found it extremely strange since I had only used this particular card to pay for the hotel. To make matters worse, after freezing the card, another transaction tried to come through for the same amount at the same online retailer. Feeling absolutely defeated inside we proceeded back to the hotel. Upon entering we were greeted by the same member and asked where we went and what we did. I noticed that the credit card terminal was no longer covered. I thought that was extremely strange. We somberly answered and proceeded to our room. I decided I wanted to go get some snacks to help my mood.

The room was a good size. Bed was mostly comfortable. LOVED the hot water in the shower.

We had a view of the cemetery next door. A little shocking but it didn’t interrupt our experience.

Everything was wonderful. The staff, the accommodations, to the room itself. It was clean and very spacious. I even had two friends visit with no problem when I was there. You guys made my Christmas one of the greatest from visiting out of town.

I wish the breakfast went longer than until 9:30am.

The room and bed where fine.

The fire alarm went off at 1 am in the morning and it was a false alarm but stayed on for 10 minutes. Then it came on shortly again a few minutes later. After that there where people running up and down the hall cursing and yelling. It was not a restful night.

Convenient to highway and stores. Room was very updated and clean. Linens were soft and luxurious.

In room coffee maker could not be plugged in, there was no outlet that the cord would reach.

Everyone was very friendly. At checkout I was welcomed, thanked, and offered breakfast before we departed this location.

Excellent breakfast (except the pancake machine wasn't working).
