The house was spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked. It’s also close to town. Shawn provided tons of information in advance, stayed in touch throughout our trip, and granted a special request. A few good surprises were the number of decks to enjoy, the number of bikes in the garage (which we didn’t have time to try out), and the cozy beach-themed touches everywhere. This property was better in person than in the pictures. Many thanks to Shawn for helping us enjoy a quick Mother’s Day getaway in our favorite shore town!

We were attending a family wedding and had never been to the area. The owner was very nice, responded to our inquiries and very accommodating. The property is very clean and fully stocked. The layout allowed for privacy with the multiple floors. Perfect location! If we are in the area again we would definitely rent again! Thanks..

I stayed here with a couple of friends from college as we were having a mini reunion. This place was fantastic! The owner could not have been nicer as we communicated a few times prior to the trip. The house was clean and had everything we could need and more. So many beds and rooms, we had trouble figuring out who slept where due to so many options. The deck was the perfect place to relax and hang out. We couldn't have picked a better place. Next time I need somewhere to stay in Avalon it will be here without hesitation.

Wonderful location! Shawn was an excellent host. Very accommodating and went above and beyond to make my extended Wedding Weekend amazing! Bedrooms are comfortable and plenty of space for everyone to gather and have their privacy as well. House is fully stocked with chairs, bikes, kitchen supplies, towels, etc.... You wanted for nothing while staying here. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy this little slice of heaven.

Such a wonderful stay in Shawn’s home for a family wedding this September. Easily fit 6 adults, 2 cars. Perfect location right next to some Avalon gems (Uncle Bills, Arcade & park, all the icecream shops). Easy walk to beach, with beautiful view of bay from the front deck. Shawn was easy to communicate with and quick with responses. Would definitely recommend for your stay!

Our host was so accommodating, and we communicated way before our stay. when I texted he answered almost immediately. The house was clean, decorated so nice and very homey. I was only there for two days for my daughters wedding, but I would love to go back for a week next summer.

This is the most fully stocked house in Avalon! Everything from paper products to cleaners is available, along with beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas, beach carts, etc. You can check in assured that you will have a wonderful vacation. Shawn is so reliable and great to deal with. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome and just perfect for just adults or for a family vacation. Location is great and convenient, just a short walk to the beach. The home itself was clean and we hardly needed to bring anything ourselves for a beach trip as they provide you with beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and beach toys. The owner was great! Very responsive and welcoming. We hope to return in the future.

The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and the closets were full of linens, books, and games. The kitchen had everything we could want and then some. It’s in a great location, walking distance to restaurants, the Avalon Market, and the rest of the main stretch of Avalon. The owner was friendly and responsive to questions. We’d definitely stay here again!

First and foremost, the host Shawn Goodier could not have been nicer and probably the most prepared, detailed and responsive host we have ever experienced with our 15 year history with VRBO. The house had everything we needed from sheets to towels to bikes and beach stuff. Shawn did not oversell. All there and more. We rented a 6 passenger golf cart (highly recommended) which enabled us to motor all over Avalon to party and beach time with other family members and friends in three different locations in Avalon. His location and pricing and partnership with VRBO enabled us to have an affordable and adventurous family vacation/reunion during the biggest week in Avalon…July 4th week. The timing of our rental and Shawn’s total availability and kindness made our stay top shelf. Finally, it is a home (not just a house) because his family photos and loving memorabilia make it quite evident that he wants his renters to enjoy the same warmth and hospitality.

I am the type of person as my better half says "packs the whole house to bring on vacation". I didn't need to do that to stay here! The host, Shawn, well stocked the home and had everything we could possibly need for our stay! Supplies and tableware for cooking/dinning; Sleeping (linens, extra pillows, blankets, ect); showering ( bath towels, wash clothes,toiletries); indoor entertainment (games, movies, books, toys); outdoor activities; beach supplies (beach towels, chairs, toys, ect.) are all provided. The cleanliness of the home was immaculate. Having three full bathrooms as parents of four children...three of which are teenage girls...was a major perk! The area is lovely, family friendly, and quite. The location is walking distance to the beach and a 20 minute or so drive to the wildwood boardwalk. The bedrooms are spread out among the three floors which is nice allowing individual space when need from the family/group. Shawn was easliy and quickly accessible by phone, accomodating and tentative. The home's decor had character and shared it's story of beautiful memories. I could see and feel the effort and care put into making our stay an enjoyable experience. It is very much appreciated! Thank you Shawn!

Cozy surf shack vibe. We returned to this property after nearly 20 years. It was fun for my adult daughters and niece to walk down memory lane. Shawn, the owner, is welcoming and kind. It felt like we were staying with family.

Super homey and comfortable multi level home with everything you need and more. Wish we could’ve stayed longer- it really felt like “home”- we went shopping, to the beach, out for dinner, watched TV and had a fun 60th bday celebration. We WILL be back! Perfect

Wonderful home! Had a great stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. It is a spacious, comfortable home that is enjoyable for the whole family. We have two small children and they took advantage of the toys, books, and movies--as well as the Smart TV to watch shows they don't get to see at home. There's an abundance of natural light, 3 full baths, a deck off each level, and each room is wonderfully decorated with a shore/vacation theme. Kids' room is a plus with bunk beds. The location is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants of Dune drive, and only a block from the bay, several blocks from the ocean. We love staying here and look forward to returning. Owners are attentive and helpful, a delight to rent from!
