This beautiful cottage was perfect for our family of 4! Our kids enjoyed exploring the lovingly maintained grounds, and admiring the flowers and plants surrounding the house. The gated driveway and tall privacy hedges also provided a delicious sense of seclusion and privacy. The interior of the house, which was thoughtfully decorated with warm natural tones and classic beach themed decor, felt cozy and roomy enough for all to have a relaxing stay. We appreciated the small stock of games, books and toys for small children that were stored in the house. Eating on the sunny deck was also a highlight of the stay. For newcomers, we found the location to be ideal as it was very easy to access the freeway and get to the many wonderful eateries in the area. We particularly enjoyed spending days at Miramar Beach Club. (The outdoor shower was a nice touch at the end of those long days on the beach.) For tennis enthusiasts, there are municipal tennis courts just at the end of the street. We would stay again! - Family of 4 from Boston, MA

This cottage was perfect for our 4 person family. The cottage was very clean, with beautiful hardwood floors and many many windows. Queen bed was super comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, only heard the cute birds in the lush garden. Other things we loved: big full kitchen, big glass door off of living room opened to a large deck, large gated property with private parking (remote provided to open/close gate). We will be back!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Perfect location, windows to let in the cool breeze, and a sunny deck overlooking yard with a variety of trees and lots of birds. We loved the vintage coastal decor.

We absolutely loved all the outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy during our stay. I cooked quite a bit in the well appointed kitchen. There are tons of birds on and nearby the property making lovely Birdsong, but I would suggest some earplugs for the morning if you are a light sleeper. The main bed was comfy.

We loved the feel of this place the moment we stepped in. We needed a place to regroup after three weeks of road tripping crazy with our two kids. The balcony is gorgeous, beds comfy, cooker great! My son was very much taken by the old vcr television in the kids room. Thanks for the breathing space 😀

Entire process was very simple and user-friendly. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The mattresses were like sleeping on clouds. Felt like we are able to live like we were in our own home away from home. Thank you to the family incredible hosts.

The house suited us very well for our family visit to check out UCSB. The terrible weather prevented us from enjoying the deck and yard, but the kitchen had everything we needed, we had family movie night in the living room, and our daughter even got some piano practicing in.

My wife and I recently spent six weeks at this lovely stand alone single family cottage The location was superior as it was very close to downtown, beaches, and Montecito. It was in a fairly dense residential area, but it was quiet. A nice feature was that the house provided off street parking. We did experience difficulty over several days with the electronic gate as at times it would not open each time, but when we contacted the owner they were pleasant and responsive. The house was comfortable and a good size for us and all basic necessities were present. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would consider returning if it were available.

Nice house in Santa Barbara. Fully stocked with everything you need. It was well located on a quiet street, just 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. I would stay here again.

We just enjoyed 3 perfect nights in a lovely quiet area well located close to beaches and town. From the first moment the house felt like home. Cozy, clean and so lovely decorated. Thanks for everything.

Easy check in process, hosts provide clear instructions. The cottage was clean and we loved the piano and guitar. Conveniently located to downtown Santa Barbara, we were also able to walk to the neighborhood market nearby. Enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch was amazing!!

This property was wonderful! This was the perfect spot to start our adventures in and around Santa Barbara. We loved having the bikes to ride into town, and the deck was the perfect place for both morning coffee and dinner. The host is responsive, and the house is both beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Got in around 5:30pm, opened a bottle of wine, ordered pizza for delivery, sat on the side porch and enjoyed the sunset listening to Pandora. Priceless. Only thing, I wish I knew how to play the piano. Thank you!

We had a lovely, relaxing getaway at this charming cottage. Lovely decor and all the amenities. Pretty residential neighborhood is a short drive from restaurants. We drank coffee on the deck and played the provided board games. Highly recommend.

My fiancé and two best friends stayed at Cliff's home for a wedding, and we have absolutely no complaints. We just happened to come during an unseasonably warm/humid weekend, and there is no A/C in the home, but that's pretty typical for the area. Everything was as advertised, tons of outdoor space we were unfortunately too busy to enjoy, and comfortable, clean bedrooms. Will definitely try to stay with Cliff again if we find ourselves in SB again!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this well-appointed cottage! The house was clean with all the necessary amenities, the beds were super comfortable, the location was pristine, and the owner is wonderful to work with! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful deck at any hours of the day. We really didn't want to leave when it was time to go home! If you are in Santa Barbara and have the opportunity to stay at Cliff's cottage, we can't recommend it enough. It is beyond wonderful!

Whe getaway there to disconected, my family and I really enjoy the place and get rest, the family meals at the patio was the best!!! The house was clean and whe found everything that expected!! Thank you for all!!

Loved our stay here and would definitely return!

We stayed for 2 nights during a PCH trip with our 2 teenagers. The home was in a perfect location to explore Santa Barbara. We loved the charm. While the home is older, it is lovingly cared for and was a welcome stay on our trip. The flowers on the property were beautiful, and the washer/dryer were excellent as our other locations along this trip were hotels. We would definitely stay again!
