Pros: the proximity to the beach is awesome, it's an easy walk to downtown, the pier is close, playgrounds are close and it's convenient to get to the freeway to get to other places in greater SD, they just updated the inside and it was great for a beach cottage, the property manager was awesome and they genuinely seemed like good property managers. Cons: the description understates the proximity to the train - it's literally 20ish feet behind the house, it's loud, and it was a bit scary since our little one constantly wanted to go to the tracks to see the train, no A/C and the fans are insufficient - outside would cool down and we were roasting in the house each night, missing blinds on one of the windows facing the street - we covered it with Aluminum foil for the duration of our stay, generally speaking, it seemed like it was still a work in progress. *aside from the train these are all very solvable and I imagine as they make progress on the house they'll become non-issues.

Had a fantastic time. One block from the beach, 3 blocks from the pier, and everything else was just a short drive. Will be back again.

We arrived to PARADISE!!! This was my families best ever vacation rental in Southern California! One block to the beach, 2 blocks to downtown and all the activities, street fair, theater . . . and taking the train anywhere else we wanted to go. Our dog even had his best vacation - a yard, a dog beach/park! The house is so fresh & clean, laid out so that anybody cooking is part of what's going on inside or outside - the views from the house and yard - - - SUNSETS are amazing. Jason & Rachel gave us all kinds of suggestions for the kids and adults, they have been very thoughtful when considering what their guests want to find in the kitchen and the house. We could hang out on the patio lounge area or kick back and watch movies in the comfy living room. Did I mention "can we just move in forever"! We will be back and highly recommend this rental for adult couples & families! Thanks Jason & Rachel for putting together this sweet spot!

What a beautiful little home that's only a Block from the beach! I love the Huge kitchen & All the big windows. The Fresh Ocean breeze. The lovely sun shining in. Music flowing, creating Family Memories. We comfortably fit our family a 5, With a 2 year old toddler! It was Spacious and Clean. Upgraded amenities were a Plus! The home owners are are so Gracious, Personable & Friendly! There's also a huge place to sit and gather outside by a fire....while the smell of the sea blows by in a breeze! So so lovely! Local coffee shop was a Plus, when I wasn't brewing my own pot! You'll be centrally located to tons of great spots to eat if you should decide to go out for a bite. I can't say enough. We will be back to this home in Oceanside, for All Our Stays in the San Diego area. ☆☆☆☆☆ Thank You Again!!

House looks just like the pictures. Cute furnishings, clean and a great space to call home base. We walked to everything. 2 blocks easy walk to the beach and can see the ocean from the yard and kitchen. Restaurants all within walking. Owners were super responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great time!
