Loved our stay!

Pro: Layout of house for two families Two refrigerators and basically two living spaces. Plenty of towels Multiple televisions Nice area outside for hanging out -lots of running room for kids as well Fishing poles for use and great fishing! Comfortable house overall Private- not super busy location Cons: Could have used more of a deep clean- spider webs in corners and on windows, deck was dirty and we had to sweep It off Killed multiple spiders in the basement. Should be sprayed possibly Grass was long and mowing company came during our stay on holiday weekend while we were in the yard. Wish this would have been done before we got there. Lots of goose and swan feces near the lake Great stay overall just overall cleanliness needs improvement.

Loved the entire property, the lake was beautiful and relaxing. Clean and beautifully decorated. Would totally recommend this home to anyone. Would love to stay again.

Stayed here with family while we were in town for my brothers memorial service at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. The location was central to that and other family and friends. Fun pubs and restaurants also very nearby. It worked out perfect. The house was better than pictured. We had a few minor bumps but the owners acted quickly and went above and beyond to accommodate me and my 7 other family members. The house has room enough for all to have their privacy as well as several perfect gathering spaces. Home has 3 levels - loft bedroom upstairs (no door) but did not seem to be an issue for Dad and Stepmom. We used the pool table more than we thought we would (it is on the main level or 2nd floor adjacent to dining/kitchen). The large sectional for relaxation along with a 2nd kitchenette downstairs in basement or 3rd level which also has the walkout to a firepit and the gorgeous lake. Views are amazing! The deck wraps around the side and back of the house and had comfy furniture - we found the cushions in the garage. The owners were truly generous with ample stock of amenities and sundries - even had coffee and chocolates! Yum! We would DEFINITELY stay here again -- preferably during the Summer months when we could've facilitated the lake. Thank you to Stacy and Thomas for their exceptional hospitality! They are truly super hosts with a fabulous rental!!!

My family enjoyed this serene lake house getaway! We especially enjoyed the walkout basement, main floor kitchen and pool table. All beds are comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. We look forward to returning to fully enjoy the lake.

We visited the property with a group of 8 adults and here was plenty of room for everyone. The house was better than the pictures, and we had a great time.

The home is very well kept and equipped. All the kitchen essentials and plenty of towels. The presentation of the home when we arrived was excellent and very clean. My parents, siblings and their spouses (traveled from Ohio) all spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. We enjoyed the pool table and playing cards/games on the outdoor patio table. There is a nice gas grill just off the kitchen on the deck we used to cook out. The bedrooms were all comfortable and good size. The decor was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends.

This was a perfect weekend for our family gathering! Not only was the rental perfect size for our group but very clean! The owners were wonderful to work with and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay!

Plenty to do. We caught some fish, used the paddleboard’s, enjoyed the bonfire pit, enjoy the corn hole game, enjoy the pool table, and had a nice family barbecue

Stacey and Tom are outstanding hosts. Their home is clean, comfortable, inviting... and we cannot begin to express our gratitude for their willingness to share this location with others. We’re from L.A. and brought our family to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation, 22nd bday, and a new job. Great times together and memories that will last a lifetime! Cheers to our hosts and best wishes through the rest of 2020 and beyond. Hope to be back soon.

My daughters and their husbands joined me for Thanksgiving. This house was perfect to accommodate our group. The pool table and fireplace was a hit and the lower level provided great space for all of us to watch football. We would love to come back and enjoy the lakefront

This property was perfect for our family get-together. Great comfort, a beautiful lake, and a very well equipped kitchen. The recommendation for a boat rental was also just right. We would certainly recommend this property and its owner.

This home was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and just the right size for a family gathering. The only surprise that wasn't in the listing was that the owner and others reserve the right to use the waterfront property while renters are occupying the home. The only way we found out was in the rules regarding the house that were kept in the binder on site. It was an uneasy feeling when someone (we assumed the owners) parked in the driveway, someone got out of the vehicle and ate lunch, then took their water equipment and walked down the side of the house and behind the house to the waterfront. It would have been more comforting if they would have come to the door and introduced themselves. Overall, the stay was wonderful!

My husband and I have been joining three other couples for the same long weekend in August for five years. This house on Otter Lake met our criteria for beds and baths. Loved that it had a pool table. Everyone got a cue stick in their hands at some point. The layout was nice, the extra space in the lower level was welcome. The lakefront/water access wasn't the best. Would have liked to be able to walk in and swim. Kayaks were also not readily available, nor was a dock to put a boat in. There was plenty of room inside and out to sit and relax, play games and our favorite: do puzzles!

The house is great, just like advertised. We all had a great time and plenty of room. Really loved the pool table, lots of fun!

Such a cool place. Rented a pontoon boat that was docked right on the property. Tons of space inside. Awesome deck outside. Incredible beds! 1st class. Stacy was a great hostess and very concerned about us.

We had great weather so there was plenty of things to do outside. However if it ever did rain, this place would be a comfortable and fun place if you ever got stuck inside. We definitely want to come back.

Seven of us spent a fun week at the house with a lot of time sitting on the deck with other family members and friends. We were in town to attend the wedding of my granddaughter and the house could not have been more accommodating for us.

Our stay was great. We were able to spend the days on the large porch overlooking the lake and the nights playing cards and pool in the main living area. The place is less than an hour from Detroit and half the time to Troy. We played Shepherd’s Hollow golf course in Clarkston. It was like being up north without the 5 hour drive. We would definitely plan another trip to the Lakehouse.

The lake behind house, plus the island, boats to see, deer, black squirrels, wonderful place to stay. Owner put out a nice selection of snacks, very clean, highly recommend! Hope I'm not forgetting anything....

We had such a great time, the house was beautifully decorated and in a gorgeous location right on the lake.

I hosted work colleagues from across the country and we had everything we needed to never leave, get our work done, and have fun too. So so so accommodating! Thank so much!
