Our first visit to Maine! The owners of this cute little house restored this old house and supplied the house with all the necessities needed to make our stay comfortable. The welcome basket was a nice little touch to greet you when coming in the door. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We are four women on a getaway weekend and absolutely love this cottage. We would all come back here again. The cottage is clean and well appointed. Most importantly the neighborhood is quiet and the cottage is in a central location near downtown. So it’s an easy walk and an easy bike ride to Acadia! Highly recommend!

Walk to town and harbor. 2 miles to park. Very clean and well stocked. We had a great time and had all the accessories or big hotel but all the comfort of living like a local. We live in Southern Maine on the coast in Ogunquit and had never been to Bar Harbor. We brought our 2 dogs and it was just like we were locals and very much the way we live day to day at home in Maine’s other premier summer town. We Intend to make this at least an annual trip and will definitely stay here again. Thanks Logan and Hong.

We loved this pretty cottage! It was a wonderful experience!So close to everything. It was in the perfect location and a quick walk to downtown Bar Harbor. The owners recommendations for breakfasts, lunch and dinner were fabulous! Would love to come stay again!

Lovely owners quick to respond to questions, very organized and full pf helpful advice. Thank you! We loved Bar Harbor, this property was within walking distance to the Town pier, restaurants, and coffee shops. The hot showers were great, water pressure was very appreciated. The 2 Roku/Apps TV required our passwords which we didn't have, but our dgt remembered hers, it was an important week of news. Also loved the keyless entry which worked great.

We stayed in mid-June - had some meals outside on their picnic table. Entire house was clean. Was fun to arrive and find some snacks waiting for us. And they let us know where to take our recycling - as tossing it in the garbage seems so wrong. House is tiny but was fun to stay in. Tucked away on a side street and neighbors were very quiet. Was nice to have two parking spots and easy walking distance to anything in town.

Very nice cottage just a block from all the restaurants and shops. House was clean and well stocked. Owner responded quickly to questions. Air conditioning came in handy as it was very hot during our stay. Would stay here again.

The property is located a very short distance from town, with great parking, yet still on a quiet street. The girls I was with said it was the best Airbnb they had ever stayed at, and they are well travelled. The cottage was very clean, had comfortable beds and pillows, lots of towels and every kitchen item you could possibly need for a great stay. We were able to visit Acadia Park and enjoy the fall colors. Host offered great advise for dining and activities. We highly recommend this place to everyone. We plan on returning.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Rose Cottage. It had everything we needed for a girls trip up to Bar Harbor, with ample space for the 5 of us. Literally around the corner from the Village Green, the location can't be beat, while still being in a quiet neighborhood. Hong and Logan were excellent hosts and we hope to stay here again!

Beautiful place in a great location! Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Clean, comfy beds, nice dishes, ample pantry supplies, nice fire pit area. Plenty of hot water. Tap water tastes great. This is an older home with updated kitchen and bath, but has squeaky wide pine floors, sparse electrical outlets and dim lighting in bedrooms. Only master bedroom has closet. It took some coordination sharing one bathroom in the AM for 3 women on a girls weekend getaway (dim lighting in bedrooms). The fourth bedroom with the twin bed has an exterior door (and is connected to/accessed through the other downstairs bedroom). Home is I n a quiet neighborhood, small lots, houses close together. On street parking requires resident permit but home has 2 off street parking spots. Overall great stay. Great location for walking into town. Would stay again.

Hong and Logan were super communicative hosts and seem to really care about providing a great experience for their guests. The cottage was charming, cozy, and spotless upon arrival and a nice bottle of rose was awaiting us on the kitchen table. Linens and towels were of a nice quality and soaps, toilet tissue and paper towels were amply supplied. We loved being able to walk easily to everything we like to do in town and access main roads to the park and other harbors easily when we would need to drive. A nice little find in the heart of Bar Harbor!

The cottage was in a very nice location. The property was as it is listed and management was very responsive with any questions. We can't wait to go back.

It’s in a great location and quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Love the charm of the older home minus the squeaky wood floors that can easily wake you up at night. Apart from that, it was very enjoyable.

My family of 4 people and two dogs were very pleased with the Blue Rose cottage. The bedrooms were as advertised, and the place was spotless. The downtown area is within walking distance, ​and Acadia is only a very short drive away.

Stayed with my wife and dog for 3 nights. Prime location near Main St and downtown Bar Harbor. The amenities at the cottage were superb. Kitchen and bath supplies. Shower had great heat and pressure! Master bed was comfy. Lots of places to hang out: Living room, porch, outdoor back, outdoor front. Would come back in a heartbeat.

We arrived at Blue Rose Cottage on September 6th. We entered into a comfy porch, perfect for reading, sipping a drink, and watching people walk by. The kitchen is well stocked, with a large round table with seating for 6. The bed in the master bedroom (the only one used) is very comfortable, and it was great to have an a/c that first night. The whole place was immaculate and Logan and Hong were very welcoming and willing to help if needed. It was wonderful to be able to park the truck and walk downtown. We absolutely loved the cottage, and hope to visit there again! Cindy

Great house. Great Host. Great Location. Blue Rose Cottage is a bright, clean, smart-looking vacation home with everything we needed to enjoy our visit to Bar Harbor. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals. The living room had a large over-sized couch that was so comfy to rest on after our long days of hiking in Acadia. It was me, my folks, my brother and his wife and their two kids - and we found the space perfect for us. Perhaps what we liked most was the location. We were one block to the village green and took the Island Explorer bus everywhere. We were so close it felt like door to door transportation. We were just blocks to the water. Downtown is right there. Yet the street where the house is located was whisper quiet in the evening. Loved it. Highly recommended. We look forward to returning!

This place is really in the middle of it all while still being quiet and cozy. We really could walk anywhere in downtown, which is so nice compared to getting in a car and finding parking. The house itself is nice! The 1 bathroom can be a challenge for more than 4 people, and the first floor rooms are a little disadvantaged in location and updates, but again, if you’re willing to embrace the coziness, it’s perfect! Plenty of linens and kitchen items, and the outdoor areas are great to hang out in. The living room has a really comfortable couch and the TV is great quality with a lot of viewing options. If you need to seat more than 3-4 people, those folks sort of draw the short straw with less comfortable seating options, but again, you make it what you want to. The beds are all really comfortable, and aside for one squeaky one, there were no issues sleeping well! The 2 rooms upstairs have window AC units, and downstairs, the kitchen has one. The one bedroom upstairs with the AC unit in the front window can’t really be run after you have a fire in the fire pit out front, because it’ll just blow in smokey air. Overall, we had 6 ladies in this space for a week, and we had a blast! Great location and the hosts are so responsive and kind. It’s a charming little place and made our first experience in Bar Harbor a memorable one!

We fully enjoyed our stay at the Blue Rose Cottage! It is an older home, with all of the charm (hardwood floors) and realities (small living area, some wear and tear) that comes with it. Despite it being a 4 bedroom home, it was really perfect for our family of 4--we used the two upstairs bedrooms. If you use all 4 bedrooms, it might be a little small to spend much time at the house (but you're in Maine, so how much time will you spend inside?). The kitchen is great--surprisingly large for an older home, with modern appliances. There is a washer/dryer in the kitchen, which made it easy to pack light--we just threw a small load of laundry in when we were relaxing between hiking at Acadia and walking to dinner. Another nice surprise for an older home--the water pressure in the one shower was excellent. We were provided with PLENTY of towels. The location is in an older neighborhood with a mix of rental apartments and homes, but we never had any issues with noise or neighbors. It's within walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor, which was wonderful! We appreciated the detailed information sent to us by Hong and Logan before arrival and prior to checkout. It was also nice to get an email the day after arrival checking in and wondering if we needed anything. The only suggestion I would make is a little more detail on where to find certain things (the dryer is in a closet near the dining table, and we could not figure out where the extra toilet paper was for a couple of days!) Summary: would recommend, especially for a family vacation.

Our 4-persons family spent a great week in Bar Harbor. The Blue Rose Cottage was very comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need. We had a great stay at the Blue Rose Cottage. The location is unbeatable, with a very short walk to all the town offers. The bedrooms were lovely and the kitchen was perfectly functional. The inside living space was a bit tight. If we had a larger group that necessitated all 4 bedrooms, we would not be able to all sit together in the living room. There is an inside porch that offers additional seating, so it's not that there would be nowhere to go. Plus there is SO MUCH to do on MDI that we didn't spend much time in the house outside of sleeping and meals. The owners are very responsive and gracious. The house was supplied with linens and paper products, as well as condiments. We highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again!

We had a family Fall get together at Blue Rose Cottage and we absolutely fell in love with this house! It's great in-town location meant we could walk everywhere easily, from the waterfront to downtown shopping and dining. The house itself is adorable. It's decorated in just the way you'd want a vacation house to be. The owners chose a delightful color palette. The rooms are comfortable for eating and preparing meals. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living room had a large TV with lots of viewing choices including Netflix which my nephews loved. We also enjoyed relaxing on the interior front porch in the evening. And loved basking in the afternoon sun in the fenced in front yard. There's also a beautiful side courtyard with a bbq grill and a picnic table. We slept soundly at night because the beds are so comfy and the neighborhood is so quiet. Everything in the house seemed fresh and new and clean. Looking forward to staying here again! Thanks!

Good location

The Blue Rose Cottage was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. Very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Location was great- just a short walk to everything. We had wonderful weather and were able to fully enjoy being outside. We love Bar Harbor and the park; it is such a beautiful place.

This cottgae, right in downtown, is what I would call a "best buy." The location is wonderful. The house is spotless and so tastefully decorated. The grounds are landscaped perfectly. We had cozy evenings out in the front yard telling stories by the fire pit. Delightful BBQ's in the courtyard. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. We felt like we were part of Bar Harbor. The kids loved the big screen TV and the GameCube system. The beds are comfortable. The dining area inviting. And the bathroom was like new. Loved it all. Thanks for making this delightful home available to us!

We couldn't have asked for a better location. We were within walking distance to everything downtown. The house itself was very clean and was a perfect size for our group of four plus one dog :) Having off street parking was convenient. We would definitely stay there again!

This house is in a good location with nice neighbors. We could walked to everything. This house is dog friendly but the fencing is not secure to leave the dog in. It was clean and comfy. It is small and it could use some hooks and/or storage places in the only bathroom. We did not cook while there but the kitchen seemed pretty well stocked with pans and dishes etc.

We just returned from a trip to Bar Harbor and were lucky enough to stay at this great spot. The house is within minutes walking of downtown Bar Harbor, and so convenient to Acadia National Park. There was plenty of room for all of us to stay (5 adults - 2 couples and a single) and comfortable living space too. The house was clean and well furnished, just the kind of place you hope to find when renting a house you've never actually seen. The owners are easy to contact and very helpful with all our questions. We are already looking forward to planning a return trip next year!

My family and I went to Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park during the third week in August and the Blue Rose was the perfect place for "home base." Walking distance to everything that Bar Harbor has to offer with all the amenities you could ask for and a short drive into the park (there are also free buses everywhere). We truly enjoyed our stay and would go back in a minute!!
