I loved the fact that you could sleep with your sliding glass door open and listen to the waves crushing against the beach all night only down fall was our beach access was shut down for repairs sooo we had to walk a pretty good ways away from our resort beach area

1. Security needs improvement: Upon entry, the sliding glass door was not locked (it had no lock) and a 3/4 wooden dowel is used to secure it. The wooden dowel was not in the correct place so anyone could have entered before I arrived. 2. Listing does not state that kitchen equipment but no drinking vessels are available. Good thing I had a travel mug. 3. With fees, this space is very overpriced and I would like a partial refund/credit 4. The bed was bare minimum. Too firm. 5. The customer service offered was responsive, but did not follow through. Therefore, as a first complaint, I do not recommend this listing.

It is a nice place the only issue we had was the furnishings were not as pictured had a table and two hard benches were cheaply made the picture show two barrel chairs and a table and that is why we got this room they need to update the pictures to match the rooms

This was a deceitful listing, everything was terrible…furnishings, bedding, stay at motel 6 you’d be better off than this horrible property only thing good to say was the view was awesome but this property was the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced

Just had my second stay here, and am already planning on my next visit! I love these places-cute, clean, dog friendly and within short distance to great restaurants and gorgeous beaches!

Just wanted a short getaway. Room was great. People above us were alittle noisy walking all the time. People smoking on their decks. Room was cleaned very well. Over all a good stay.

Lots of stairs and was super hot in the upstairs apartment. Three fans were provided which was adequate after sunset. The accomodations did not reflect the high end price point. The place was very clean and had a good view.

Pros: Nice Ocean view. Soft towels.. Cons: Room advertised as $60 but paid over $200 which should be ok for an ocean view BUT the fireplace didn't work which was big on our list and the TV was stuck on demo mode. Called and after finally getting someone to come fix the situation, they couldn't fix anything. No dresser or night stands or anywhere w drawers to store our clothes except 4 hangers on a pole by the front door. No DVD player or anyway to watch a movie to avoid watching the TV in demo mode. No fan including in the bathroom, no phone or alarm clock. No chairs to sit but a picnic style table with two bench seats but you could only use one. No floor mats including the bathroom or in the bathtub/shower. Refrigerator had to be unplugged it buzzed soo loud and the beds are from the 80s. Paid for a late checkout but between the non stop barking dogs and cleaning crews we barely slept at all. And to to it all off I had to park my sports car down the street because there was no parking when we returned to our room. I would rather pay for parking knowing it was close and that we didn't have to walk with our stuff a football field away. Ownership did contact us quickly but couldn't do anything to remedy the situation and/or do anything to compensate us after the fact. Had they been more empathetic or even slightly sympathetic and done SOMETHING to ease the uncomfort this feedback would have been different. But instead they blaimed and ignored us.. All in all I would never recommend this place!

I loved the view and the sound of the ocean. The room felt spacious, which makes for more comfort. The arrangement of the bathroom, vanity and appliances was well lighted and highly functional. The bed and pillows were firm and good quality. It is located near the city center with just short drives to the places we wanted to go. It did seem that you could follow stairways down to the beach and then you could walk all day.

I loved having a dramatic view of the ocean from our window. The room felt spacious and open and the bed was comfortable. I was excited to have a gas fireplace, but unfortunately it only gives out a tiny (2 inch) flame, probably for safety reasons but I was able to call Vacasa and discuss this with the staff and they were very kind. The arrangement of the bathroom and kitchen was open and well-lighted. The price was very reasonable.

Pros, Great view from the room and deck. Dog friendly Clean Great staff Location Cons, Pictures for D2 is not what the room looks like now, and they need to update the pictures so you know what you are getting, Staff agreed!!! I emailed Vacasa prior to booking to make sure there were the comfortable chairs to sit in as advertised and they said yes!! Its not! they replaced them with a cheap table and a hard bench, so there is no place to sit comfortably but the bed if you are stuck inside (rain, cold). The beds are firm and they have changed the pictured comforters with cheaper ones. So don't expect plush. Floors have been replaced with laminate which is great for cleaning but, There is no sound proofing, walls are thin.. Don't stay in a bottom or middle floor. We heard everyone walking around, dogs tails hitting the floor LOL, talking from all sides of the room after quiet time and before 5am. Just my 2 cents.

We enjoyed the location and the view but our neighbors were rude up until 330 am then puking over the rail at 400 am. Other than that very nice

1. No AC in unit as advertised. 2. Sand in sheets. 3 Bathtub drain clogged 4. Bathroom sink clogged. 5. Holes in the walls. 6. Communication with property management was horrible. They would not return calls, and would only respond via text in the middle of the night.

This room has a great view! We enjoy our stay completely shy of a few house keeping challenges. Would stay again!

We had an overall ok experience with the room itself! Very close to parking to unit. We loved the Beach View and the fire place was very nice, the only down part to it were the clicks sound that the timer made all the time while the fireplace was on, it has a (60min timer). Even though we have a good experience, we had couple of issues, the parking was an issue! we couldn't find parking after 8pm we had to park on the street because the other parking that where empty correspond to the other motels and we could park there! and floors where very dirty; I had my kids were socks all the time and my baby was not allowed to crawl on the floor due to this, beds are very noisy as you move around on them, and walls are very thin you can hear everything from everywhere; people walking and talking above and on each side! and we couldn't get the shower to work we called customer service and they replied 45 min later. After you open the water make sure you pull down on the shower ring to allow water to go to the shower head! also PLEASE KEEP IN MIND BEFORE BOOKING they do not let you book for one night only, you have to book two nights minimum no matter what day it is. We had to spend our first night in the car because Vacasa would only allow to book two nights instead of one, and unfortunately they do not let you know that until you have booked. We tried to do two different reservations and we could due to the fact the they wanted us to overlap our days which is ridiculous why would we pay for two rooms for one night! Customer service didn't want to help with that or at least accommodate us and remove one night from current booking to have two night in one booking and the rest in the other booking!

All in all the overall of this place was fine. Clean, but lacked amenities. The sunsets were amazing despite the fact there is a tree blocking the main view.

The beds are hard as a rock. The walls are thin all you hear are all the kids running around upstairs and next door. It’s kinda gross. Didn’t feel sanitary. They put a fresh coat of paint and some new backsplash tile around the sink and called it remodeled. Nice try. It’s a hike to the beach and back up the cliff so prepare for exercise. Everyone else seemed to smoke a lot and it wafted into the room. You have to keep the sliding door open for ventilation but it’s very loud and smelly outside. 1/10 would not stay again

Dog friendly, comfortable room, great location. Everything we needed.

The room was clean and stocked with the basics, except only two mugs and no disposable cups so we had to share. The balcony was in need of a scrub and some paint, but we were grateful to have it. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, so leaving the balcony doors open was the only way to air out the room. The furniture was not as pictured on the website. We were looking forward to two nice easy chairs instead of one occasional chair with no arms, but there were plenty of lovely soft pillows. They need to install bumpers for all the door handles, so the walls are not destroyed. Generally an air of disrepair about the grounds, but clean enough to be comfortable for a budget getaway. Beware that the fees will add up to more than the room rental.
